Collard Greens

Ingredients:
6lbs Collard greens
1 medium onion
half cup of vegetable oil
3 cups of water
1 cup chicken broth
2 teaspoons of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of salt
half jalapeño pepper
smoked turkey

Preparation:
Bring to boil 4 cups of water and one cup of chicken broth
Add smoke turkey part (any piece will do)
Add whole onion
2 tablespoon of black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon of salt
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Half cup of vegetable oil
Let boil for 20-30 minutes
Add chopped cleaned collard greens
Let simmer low heat for 2 1/2 3 hours

Lasagna

Ingredients:
Lasagna pasta
3 table spoons Italian seasoning
1 ½ tablespoon Salt
2 tablespoons Black Pepper
1 pound Sharp Cheese
1 pound Mozzarella Cheese
2 1/2 pounds ground turkey
2 cups Ricotta Cheese
2 tablespoons dried/fresh parsley
1 egg
1 jar of (37 oz) tomato sauce
1 6oz of tomato paste
1 small onion
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic

Pasta
bring to boil 1 pound of lasagna pasta
salt water

Tomato Sauce
in a skillet sauté small onion in 2 tablespoons of olive oil
add in ground turkey
let simmer until ground turkey is no longer pink
add 3 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon half of garlic
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
add tomatoes paste 6 oz
stir until gathered
add tomatoes sauce (your favorite blend)
let simmer for 30 mins on low heat

Ricotta Cheese Blend
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 teaspoon of parsley
half cup parmesan cheese
mix all ingredients in bowl until smooth and creamy

Dry Cheeses
1 pound of sharp and mozzarella cheese

Layer Steps
Start with a small layer of meat sauce in empty pan to prevent sticking
add 3-4 pieces of Lasagna pasta
add a layer of ricotta cheese blend
add a layer of meat sauce
add a layer of sharp and mozzarella cheese

Repeat 3-4 times until you run out of ingredients
finish last layer with dry cheese add parsley to garnish

Bake at 360 for 35-40 minutes
