Remy Ma’s career shifted after she served six years in prison for assault 12 years ago. This Bronx rapper was released in 2014 and came back stronger than ever! After her release, she joined the cast of VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop New York,” and was nominated for two Grammys in 2016 for “Best Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Song.”
