Summer 2018 Music Tours You Don't Wanna Miss

July 8, 2018

By Joanne Rosa

Summer’s heating up, and we’re not just talking about the temperature. The year of 2018 blessed us with countless album releases, giving this summer some of the best music tour options we’ve seen in a while.

After listing out all of our options, we came up with the top 10 must-see artists for the summer. If you’re in the area while one of these talents come through, you’d be crazy to miss out. Crazy!

Here are the most anticipated tours this summer.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z: On the Run II Tour

Have you ever seen the crowd goin’ Apesh*t? Even if you have, it’s nothing compared to a crowd awaiting Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The ultimate power couple. The highly anticipated OTR II Tour got even better when The Carters dropped their “Everything is Love” album last month.

Wendy called Beyoncé the greatest performer of all time-living or dead-and we don’t trust anyone that disagrees. They are a must-see in this lifetime. It will become a day you tell your grandchildren about.

Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour

Taylor Swift‘s Reputation Stadium tour is unapologetic, and we love it. She embraces the moment when Kim Kardashian subtweeted her with snake emojis on social media. Swift admitted on the stage of her opening show that she experienced “some really low times because of it.” She took a cue from Beyoncé and made lemonade out of the lemons life gave her. Hence, her “Reputation” album, which was released last November. The Reputation Stadium tour is happening now.

Florence + the Machine: The High as Hope Tour

Florence from Florence + the Machine

Florence + the Machine‘s “High as Hope” album released last week, and it’s the kind of music that will get you through the summer feeling good. This is the indie rock band’s fourth album, and Florence Welch wrote the entire album. The songs “Hunger” and “Big God” are the most popular songs from their album so far. Give them a listen, and grab tickets to their High as Hope tour while they last!

Bruno Mars: 24K Magic Tour

Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars took home six Grammys this year, including the coveted album of the year Grammy for his album “24K Magic.” The tour will kickoff in Denver, Colorado in September, but we still count that as summertime. Tickets for Bruno’s 24K Magic tour are on sale now, and you’ll see new mama Cardi B make a few appearances.

Christina Aguilera: Liberation Tour

Christina Aguilera

Feeling liberated? You should sit in your car and listen to Christina Aguilera‘s new album “Liberation” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, 2 Chainz, Demi Lovato, and more! We’re recalling digging “Fall in Line” featuring Demi Lovato.

After quitting The Voice earlier this year, Christina is feeling all levels of Liberation for her tour. Tickets for the Liberation tour are on sale now.

Demi Lovato: Tell Me You Love Me Tour

Demi Lovato

Speaking of Demi Lovato, we are fans. She’s not sorry for being confident and comfortable in her body. We cannot get enough of her and her new album “Tell Me You Love Me”, which was released last year. The “Sorry Not Sorry” music video has over 300 million views on YouTube.

Demi is on her Tell Me You Love Me tour now!

Elton John: Farewell Yellow Brick Road the Final Tour

Elton John

All good things must come to an end, including live performances by Elton John. We hope he’ll make exceptions once in a while, but Elton’s tour this summer is his last one. “After more than half a century on the road and an unparalleled career that has redefined the cultural landscape and seen him claim his place as a true global icon, Elton has announced via an exclusive VR180 Live Stream on YouTube, details of his final tour called ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’.” Many cities are already sold out. If you’re lucky enough to see Elton’s last go-round, go for it.

Drake & Migos: The Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour

Drake and Migos are touring together this summer. After months of speculation, Drake confirmed that he’s a dad on his new album “Scorpion”. He admitted that his son was born October 11 and he’s only seen him once, over Christmas.

Migos will perform from their new album “Culture II,” including their latest hits “Stir Fry.” Get tickets for The Aubrey & the Three Migos tour today.

Kesha & Macklemore: The Adventures of Kesha & Macklemore Tour

Kesha & Macklemore

We’re not sure of exactly what brought these two together, but we’re here for it. The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore tour has already begun. Kesha’s new album “Rainbow” and Macklemore’s album “Gemini” will definitely be included on their tour, but we’re interested to see how these two interact and perform together.

Imagine Dragons & Grace Vanderwaal: Evolve Tour

Grace Vanderwaal

Imagine Dragons is paving the way for America’s Got Talent‘s 2016 winner Grace Vanderwaal. Did you know she’s a huge Wendy Watcher? Anyway, Imagine Dragons Evolve tour is an obvious choice for a summer concert.
