After performing in Palm Beach, Florida Thursday night, Chris Brown was arrested.
Deputies were waiting for Brown outside Coral Sky Amphitheater to put him in cuffs for an out of county warrant. He was taken into custody at 11:00 p.m. Thursday June 5 and placed on a $2,000 bond. The bond was posted less than an hour later, and Brown was released at 11:52 p.m. that same evening.
The out of county warrant was for a felony battery charge issued on April 17, 2017. Brown was accused of punching a photographer in the face at Aja Channelside nightclub, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Police said following an investigation, the Florida State Attorney’s office issued a warrant on August 11, 2017.
After Brown’s arrest, he shared a photo of himself on Instagram performing with the caption, “What’s NEW????? Show tomorrow!!!!”
