We were all thrilled to see Jennifer Aniston finally find love with her “Wanderlust” co-star Justin Theroux. Just one day after Valentine’s Day, Jen and Justin announced their divorce in a joint statement.
“In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship. Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”
Despite the couple being separated since the end of last year, they were still together for their annual New Year’s Eve celebration in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The couple is featured in March’s Architectural Digest to dish on the renovations of their $21 million home in Los Angeles. “I look around at my husband and my dogs and our home, and there’s nowhere else I want to be” said Aniston.
Sparks flew between Jen and Justin in 2011 when they co-starred together in the hit movie “Wanderlust”. By August 2012, Justin popped the question. Three years later, the two had a secret and intimate wedding in the backyard of their home in Bel Air.
Like any relationship, the two in the relationship are the only ones who will really know how it all went down, despite everyone’s opinions on the internet. But, can we talk about those opinions? The internet is begging for Brad Pitt to get back with Jen.
