Megyn Kelly V. Jane Fonda: Round 2

Megyn Kelly is slamming Jane Fonda for criticizing her interviewing skills. Remember back in September, Megyn asked Jane about her plastic surgery.

Over the weekend, Jane said she thought the question was inappropriate, and believes it showed that Megyn was not a good interviewer. Megyn clapped back on her show Monday.

“For some context, Fonda was on to promote a film about aging. For years, she has spoken openly about her joy in giving a cultural face to older women. The truth is, most older women look nothing like Fonda, who’s now 80… I gave her the chance to empower other women, young and old, on a subject which she [reports] to know well and she rejected it… I have no regrets about that question, nor am I in the market for a lesson from Jane Fonda on what is and is not appropriate. After all, this is a woman who’s name is synonymous with outrage. Look at her treatment of our military in the Vietnam war… She posed on an antiaircraft gun used to shoot down our American pilots… even she had to apologize years later for that gun picture… by the way, she still said that she is not proud of America. So, the moral indignation is a little much. She put her plastic surgery out there… honestly, she has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive.”

Some celebrities like Rosie O’Donnell and Debra Messing have come to Jane Fonda’s defense.

Four other people were injured during the attack, and they allegedly want to press charges. The attack caused $400 worth of damage to the venue. Steve is now calling for more security at comedy clubs, and thanks God for giving his “old ass the ability to bob and weave.”

Since she left, there’s now a ban on personal cell phones in the White House. Omarosa has reportedly lawyered up, and met with Lisa Bloom and Bill Cosby’s lawyer. Omarosa could get up to $10 million for tell-all. In the mean time, she signed with a public speaking agency and is asking for $50k per speech.
