LISTEN to Camila Cabello’s Debut Album

Who needs Fifth Harmony? Not Camila Cabello! She is making history with her debut album “Camila” that dropped last week. Camila has reached the number one spot on 99 of iTunes’ charts around the world. It looks like going solo was the best thing she ever did.

Camila told the New York Times that “it was not possible to do solo stuff and be in [Fifth Harmony] at the same time… I don’t like holding onto the past, especially when it’s stuff that, in my opinion, is just petty.”

Camila girl, we are all about petty here at The Wendy Show. However, we are also all about this fire debut album. You already know her hit “Havana” that topped charts when it was released in 2017.

TASTE Stephanie Harris-Uzidi’s Recipes

Chef Stephanie Harris-Uzidi stopped by the show this week, and she had Wendy’s mouth watering before they started cooking! It’s never a bad time for seafood, especially when it comes to caribbean style coconut crab cakes with fresh pineapple papaya salsa. This, plus the hibiscus mimosa will make you a hit at your next brunch, or just a very happy person.

WATCH Black Lightning

Cress Williams does not disappoint in “Black Lightning” on the CW. Oh, if you didn’t watch the premiere last week, you need to catch up over the weekend and watch episode two on Tuesday night.

Jefferson Pierce (AKA Retired Black Lightning super hero) has to bail out his daughter after she rebels against the 100 gang rising in their city. On the way home with his daughters, Jefferson is pulled over by the police because he fit the description of a person of interest. When they realized he wasn’t the person they were looking for, they let him go. That is the night Black Lightning came out of retirement.

One thing is for sure, don’t get between Jeff and his daughters (China Anne McClain and Nafessa Williams), who are absolutely stunning by the way. This new show has proven to live up to the hype.

Watch “Black Lightning” Tuesdays at 9|8c on the CW, and catch up on the series premiere over the weekend so you’re ready for episode two. This is one you won’t want to miss!
