Luann de Lesseps Arrested
While we were all eating sugar cookies and mulled wine, RHONY’s Countess Luann was arrested on Christmas Eve in Palm Beach, Florida. She reportedly went into the wrong hotel room with a man while a maid was there. A security guard called the police when they allegedly refused to leave. As soon as the police arrived, Luann reportedly locked herself in the bathroom. At one point, she allegedly shoved an officer and slammed the door in his face. She also (allegedly) told them “I’m going to kill you all.” Luann was charged with five crimes, four of which are felonies. She has plead not guilty to all charges.
Luann apologized in a statement, claiming it was her first time being in Palm Beach since her failed wedding to Tom and it brought up long buried emotions, and that she will be checking into rehab for alcohol treatment. Her ex-husband, Count Alexandre de Lesseps, is mortified and supposedly wants her to drop the family name.
Luann is headed to court on January 25.

Paris Hilton Engaged!
Paris Hilton rang in the New Year by getting engaged to actor Chris Zylka. While the two were vacationing in Aspen, Chris got down on one knee and popped the question. Chris gave her a two million dollar, 22 carat pear shaped diamond ring. The Hot Topics Bureau has a two million dollar question: Who paid for it?
Chris’ net worth is $4 million, and Paris’ net worth is $300 million. Paris hired around the clock security to watch over her and her ring.
Tell Us: Do you think Paris Hilton paid for her own engagement ring?
