Tiger Woods Likely Avoiding Jail Time

ABC's "Good Morning America" - 2017

Tiger Woods’ Memorial Day arrest and DUI charges had many people assuming he would go to jail. Woods was facing up to nine months in prison, but it’s likely he won’t go to jail at all. Woods’ attorney, Douglas Duncan, appeared in court Wednesday morning to work out a deal with prosecutors.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Woods’ attorney postponed his arraignment until October 25th, and declared that an agreement was imminent. Chief Assistant State Attorney Adrienne Ellis confirmed Woods intends to enter into the county’s first time offender diversion program. While in the 12-month program, Woods is required to stay completely sober, and participate in DUI education classes.

Malia Obama Gets Down at Lollapalooza

2016 Budweiser Made in America Festival - Day 2

A lot of celebrities attend the Lollapalooza music festival including former First Daughter, Malia Obama. After dancing like no one was watching, Malia reportedly lost track of her phone. We’ve all been there. At least it didn’t fall in the toilet. A witness told Page Six that “Malia came into the Apple Store to get her iPhone replaced, but things didn’t go exactly [as planned]. The Apple Store couldn’t immediately help her because she didn’t have the Apple ID or the password for the missing phone, since the White House set it up.” Malia’s phone is likely one amongst the 60 stolen phones at Lollapalooza.

Malia is enjoying the last few weeks of her “gap year” before heading off to Harvard University.
