Hollywood’s Best Bromances

Hollywood’s Best Bromances

By Joanne Rosa

Men used to conceal their feelings towards fellow bros, but now they let it all hang out, and we love it! Whether you’re feeling blue, going through a rough divorce, or just need to have fun, you can count on your best bro.

Here are our favorite Hollywood bromances!

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck

70th Annual Academy Awards - Press Room

This is the original Hollywood bromance that set the standard for all bromances. Matt and Ben first met in the third grade. They hit it off, and became instant friends. While they were struggling actors and screenwriters in 1998, they landed it big with Good Will Hunting. They attended the Oscars, and both young gentlemen walked away with the award for best screenplay with their mothers on their arms as dates. Twinning! Matt told Vanity Fair that he would “love to be in one of Ben’s movies that he directs. The problem is, he keeps giving himself the best roles!”

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa

Snoop Dogg And Wiz Khalifa Visit Power 99

We’re pretty sure that if Snoop and Wiz had a theme song, it would be “Young, Wild, and Free.” These guys just want to live life, and have fun. Wiz told HipHopDX that he and Snoop Dogg have a similar spirit. Whether that’s Wiz, or the Khalifa Kush talking, there is no denying that these two have an awesome bromance. Wiz was featured on Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg’s new show, Martha and Snoop’s Putluck Dinner Party alongside Seth Rogen and Ice Cube, where they competed and judged each other’s fried chicken. If that isn’t the epitome of a bromantic date, we don’t know what is.

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen

92nd Street Y Presents: Andy Cohen In Conversation With Anderson Cooper

Their names just sound like they belong together! Apparently, someone else thought so too. Anderson and Andy first met when a mutual friend attempted to set them up on a blind date. They had a phone call so they could get to know each other before actually pursuing the date. As it turned out, they both decided at the end of the conversation that they shouldn’t go on the date. Although they didn’t mesh well in the romance department, their bromance is a 10/10. They are touring the nation with their “AC2: An Intimate Evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen—Deep Talk and Shallow Tales.”

Kevin Hart and The Rock

Premiere Of Warner Bros. Pictures' "Central Intelligence" - Red Carpet

These two are always showing up in each other’s snap stories, and instas. The Rock and Kevin aren’t afraid to joke around, or throw shade at each other. During the People’s Choice Awards this year, Kevin got on stage, and basically thanked everyone, except The Rock. The two know one another so well, that they did a role reversal for The LAD Bible, and its epic. This is the bromance you want in every wedding party!

George Clooney and Brad Pitt

ShoWest Las Vegas

A long, long time ago, Brad and George ruled the Hollywood bachelor scene together. They were the best wingmen and together, won over many, many women. That is, until Brad got married. A source told Star magazine “Angie never liked George, and drove a real wedge between him and Brad.” Luckily for George, Brangelina is over, and he can have Brad all to himself again! Rumor has it that Brad Pitt could be a Godfather to one of George and Amal’s twins. If this happens, it will make their bromance a life long commitment.
