Here are our favorite Hollywood Besties who give meaning to #friendshipgoals!

Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini

A post shared by Leah Remini (@leahremini) on

Jen and Leah are those ride or die kind of besties. No, Leah will not set you up with “JLO;” and don’t call her JLO.

Through all the magazine headlines, these two are thick as thieves and are always there for each other. Leah leaving Scientology was a long and uphill battle. Of course, BFF Jennifer was there for her every step of the way. Leah told People, “[Jen] told me to keep the good things and move on with love… she doesn’t judge me.” When there were no words left to say, Jennifer just handed Leah a chocolate chip cookie.

That’s a friendship we want to have.

Mary J Blige and Taraji P Henson

Spike TV's Guys Choice 2015 - Backstage And Audience

These two had a rocky start to their friendship, but all turned out well.

Taraji revealed in her memoir Around the Way, Girl, she saw Mary at a Grammy’s party in 2000. Star struck, Taraji went up to Mary to say hi, when Mary dismissively turned her back. Later on, Taraji tried one more time to break the ice on the dance floor. She went up to Mary, tapped her on the shoulder, and Mary’s sister, La Tonya, whacked Taraji’s arm multiple times. #Fail.

Now, Mary and Taraji go together like cookies and milk! We are sure Taraji is helping Mary through her divorce. Mary told Good Morning America, “Surround yourself with good people… you need people that will help you.” Anyone would be lucky to have Taraji by their side during a difficult time.

Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence

NBC's "73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards" - Show

Amy and Jennifer as besties feels like that college friendship that never ended. However, their friendship started in the most unusual way.

Amy always liked Jen, and Jen always liked Amy. It wasn’t until Amy’s movie Trainwreck came out that Jen decided to make the first move. Jen told The New York Times she emailed Amy after seeing the movie and said, “I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you.” They stayed connected over email and text, and finally went out together on a boat. How romantic.

The rest is history! The fun never ends with these two.

Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King

38th AFI Life Achievement Award Honoring Mike Nichols - Show

It feels like Oprah and Gayle have been friends forever, but every friendship has to start somewhere.

While they were in their early 20s, Oprah and Gayle worked at a TV station in Baltimore. They didn’t know each other very well, but a snowstorm brought them together. Oprah generously opened her home to Gayle, and even offered clothes and underwear for her to wear the next day. They hit it off right away, and have been friends every since.

Now, Oprah and Gayle talk three or four times a day. They have an unconditional love type of friendship that’s better than having a sister.

Kelly Ripa and Anderson Cooper

Watch What Happens Live - Season 11

Kelly and Anderson have been friends for 20 years.

The first time they met was actually through Live with Regis and Kelly when Anderson filled in for Regis. They had an immediate connection! Kelly admitted on Watch What Happens Live that Anderson is “the [co-host] that got away.” He would have been our first pick too, Kel. Anderson also admitted that he would rather get it on with Kelly’s hubby Mark Consuelos than Kelly.

An honest friendship is a true friendship.

Debra Messing and Mariska Hargitay

Theodora & Callum Shopping Event Benefitting The Joyful Heart Foundation

These two do all of the girly things together.

They go on vacation together, ride roller coasters, go shopping, take awesome selfies (with and without makeup), and are in constant communication thanks to today’s technology. Mariska told Good House Keeping that she shares “Happy Monday” emails every week with Debra. They exchange the latest cute photo of their kids. It’s a great way to keep in touch, and start the week off right.

Debra and Mariska are the perfect gal pal duo, and keep each other grounded in this crazy world.

Viola Davis and Meryl Streep

Viola Davis Walk Of Fame Ceremony

While Viola and Meryl can spend an entire day discussing cooking, this pair is tougher than nails.

Their friendship came about while working together on the movie Doubt in 2008. They have been BFF’s ever since. Viola was the first actor this year to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During the ceremony, gushed about what an amazing friend Viola is.

There is no doubt that Viola and Meryl will be friends for life.
