I definately agree with writer #1. W endy is full of shit. how can she be so disapproving of bw reality but so supportive of other shows such as mob wives. trust me color has a hell of alot to do with it. she would not dare denounce their shows because shes afraid she wont have a show or a white audience.

Wendy! Personal I think you’re an hypocrite. Don’t get me wrong, I like you but sometimes your views are quite astonishing. You stated that you are done with shows like Basketball Wives and Love and Hip Hop because of what they represent. While I do agree with you about the violent behavior and the overall ignorance that shows like that perpetuates I somehow find your views/ actions to be hypocritical. Simply because you support, watch and permotes shows such as Mobs Wives, Jersey Shores, and the Housewives franchise, seriously? How in the world do any of the above shows differs in behaviors, morals and values? Mob Wives glorify violence, constant arguing, fighting, cursing, yelling, screaming, and pulling of the hair amongst other things. Same to be said for Jersey Show, Jersey disgusting Show and also The housewives of New Jersey. The other Housewives franchise may not be violent (physically) but they’re also in the same categories with yelling, screaming, cursing, rude, no or very little morals or values and the whole mean girl attitude. So if you’re going to dismiss BBW and L&HH for their behavior, than you should also apply it to Jersey Shore, Mob, Wives, and the Housewives Franchise because the only difference are the characters. Please excuse any grammatical errors, I’m posting from my smart phone.
P.S. I don’t watch any of them. I must admit I watched most of Beverly Hills Housewives (season 1) but stopped because I thought I was watching episodes of Mean Girls.

Wendy,
I can’t believe that you are embarassed about the Basketball Wives, and the Love & Hip Hop girls, however, you love the Mob Wives. Really??? The Mob Wives are so much more ghetto and embarrassing, that it’s not even funny! I cannot believe that you enjoy watching them. It’s interesting that you can promote this Angie character and have such disgust for the other ladies. While I do agree that the continuous fighting is in really poor taste, they all disrespect each other and the folks that tune in. Reality TV has really gotten out of hand. I wonder what has to happen to change things! That’s fine if you don’t want to watch the BBW or LHH, but please don’t promote the Mob Wives. They’re worse!
How you doing?

I have to humbly disagree with you Wendy. Mob Wives is equally as violent as Basketball Wives and Love & Hip-Hop. All of these shows reflect these women in a way that they lack of self control and self respect. I do agree with you though, I am a GROWN woman and I will not be out and about fighting with others. Looking crazy and getting my cute outfit dirty is not an option. Lastly, I am NOT trying to go to jail for fighting, or to catch any criminal charges..HELLO!

Hi, Wendy
I must say listening to your comment about Whitney Housten touch my heart. I can truly say, you showed me a side to you I can appriciate. Talking about your addiction made me see you in a positve light. If more people can admit their down falls and realize being down doesn’t mean you have to stay there. As the gossip song says “we fall down but we get up,” I am a mother of five and raising them by myself do to their dads crack addiction. I tried to stand by him through our marriage but it became difficult and I had to walk away. No, I don’t feel guilty. I feel realived because, I done all that I could have done from a wife prospective and been through so much with him, Its like I told him and others “you have to want life for yourself, no one can want life for you and you have to leave the fight in Gods hand and trust on him”. Thanks for Your Wonderful Words of Pearl, Carolyn S. Smith

Wendy,
I meant to mention this way back when, but it slipped my mind. When Wendy Raquel Robinson was on a certain radio show, she mentioned to the host that you acknowledged him on your show. He then said he was surprised you had something nice to say about him, and you haven’t invited him to the show. So, I was thinking: since the movie based on his best-selling book is coming up, and you two may (or may not) have had some sort of rift, wouldn’t it be interesting if he was invited to the show? Hmmm.
BTW: Wendy, I have to disagree about your comment regarding Suzanne Somers. She was cut and all, but “Threes Company” was clearly the John Ritter Show. Just saying.

Wendy…Wendy….Wendy…..nothing but love for you…however, I must keep it real. You are being a bit hypocritical stating that you will not be watching Basketball Wives due to the catty fighting yet you LOVE Mob Wives! It is also wrong to encourage the audience not to watch. If you don’t wanna watch it…then don’t. I’m one of your biggest fans…but IMO, sometimes you’re too much.

Wendy it is good that you have always had high self esteem but some folks do not. Was wondering with it being Black History month if you could take one day and do a tribute for Black History Month and maybe on that day embrace your true black image. It is sad that most black young girls growing up think that the only way they can be pretty is with the fake flowing weave or wigs. Let them see the natural beauty that you posses. I think you would look so pretty with a nice natural or short hair stylish cut you dont always have to wear the wigs. As you say sometimes My Black is Beautiful and it is. Black women do not always have to try to look like white woman in order to think they are beautiful.
