Dinner at Whoopi’s

High to Fly!

Whoopi invited Wendy to a private dinner at her house a few months ago and they ate in the dining room off the good plates.

Find out why Whoopi doesn’t like to cover her food with sauce and what is one type of food that Wendy won’t eat in restaurants.

Plus, everyone knows that Whoopi is afraid of flying, but as an executive producer of the “Sister Act” musical she needs to jet set across the world. Has she finally overcome her fear of flying in the sky?

Take a look.

  1. Wendy you need a bigger couch.everyone that sits looks uncomfortable.your amazing and I can tell your guest live you.I love you!! But they should be more comfortable don’t you think? Just sayin….

  2. Whoopi is just too cute, lol…(always has been); that was SOO funny that Wendy spit out her drink! We 40+ chics are hilarious!!!

  3. Wendy I love ur show! I watch it everyday! I tried to sign up to win Fran’s book but it wouldn’t allow me to sign up for it- if u get it fixed can u let me know I would love to be able to get her book- she was an awesome guest today! Bless you!

  4. Wwndy, how come you don’t ever show your hair. when you were younger you had beautiful hair. Show us already!

  5. I just love…Love…LOVE you Wendy…my son tells me that I sit and watch your show as if I’m sitting in the kitchen chatting it up with an old friend…! I get such a kick out of your humor and by us both being “women of a certain age” I feel like you are the ULTIMATE “friend in my head”…because you come on twice in St. Louis I have to split your show in half. You come on at 1:00 pm on KTVI, but since I have to leave for work at 1:30pm, I can only catch the first half…but I get off work at 11:00pm and you come on BET at 11:00pm…by the time I get home it’s 11:30pm and I catch the second half…hey…ya do what ya gotta do…! Thanks for keeping it real Wendy…Love Ya and “HOW YOU DOIN’”…?

  6. I love whoopi, and I am delighted you are both friends. Whoopi, I understand you fear of flying and respect your feeling. I was had the same fear, and decided to fly to Europe by myself and loved each moment. Ths was the only way i would see the Eiffe Tower. Learn to relax your mind and let God take control. Pray for guidance and safety. I know this may not be easy now, but trust and relax. Wendy help her to accept the joy of flying.

  7. How you do’n Wendy? I was happy to see Whoopi on your show again. She too is one of my favorites; also because of her honesty and “smarts”. She is truly one of a kind and I miss her late night talk show, which was so informative and gave you a different (more serious) look at celebs what how they “think”.

I hope that your show is on air for years to come… it’s good because you’re not FAKE, as so many are… although sometimes the powers that be cannot handle the candidness (as is my opinion as to why they took Whoopi’s talk show off the air, when it was great, but they couldn’t handle a Black Woman who had that much intellect, yet could be so down to earth) … Sometimes it is too much for “small minded” people.

  8. How do I donate money for Breast Cancer in honor of David Hardy’s grandmother?

  9. I love your show, Wendy you have a million and one dollars smile. Keep up the great work. Did not like your show in the beginning; however, I can honesty say . YOU ARE NUMBER 1 N MY BOOK. How can I get the book by T I Harris for my grandson. Keep hope alive and God Bless you always.

  10. It’s so good to hear that Whoopi has somewhat conquered her fear of flying. I have the same problem. After hearing you talk about Broadway, you make we want to get on the next jet plane to see the next Sister Act show. It sounds amazing.

  11. Wendy, how u doin? I left a message under the Prince Harry blog. So unrelated to the blog. But I heard you say u needed to take a nap to see a particular program. PLEASE, PLEASE get someone to hook you up to TVO. We here in Maryland have cable and DVR. Your TVO will FREE UP your time. I swear you will LOVE IT.

  12. Whoopi looks like she’s back in the “habit” in that outfit. You and Whoopi look good on the couch together laughing and talking, Miss Wendy. Surely enough, it should be repeated. I have not seen a greater twosome on a talk show since Ed McMahon and Johnny Carson.

    Best regards!

  13. Crazy funlovin chix goin at it. My goodness.

I like the part talkin about dinner at Whoopi’s house… wow wee. It was cool to skip the details since it was “private,” but just to hear that a dinner party happened and Wendy Williams was invited was so exciting to hear about. At Whoopi’s house… wow wee… the Jewish Princess. (Is she Jewish? Goldberg?) [rhetorical] I bet Whoopi’s got a badazz crib, too!!

And Wendy was rockin that skin tone leopard shirt. This is fun. Wish it was longer.

Sister Act is funny. I recall the entire cast from the movie had appeared on another talk show back when it came out, and the entire cast was clownin. It must be a fun production and I’m sure Goldberg had a ball with the cast.

But back to that dinner. Wow wee… dinner at the Goldberg mansion.

    I really enjoyed!
