We caught up with Wendy while she was getting measured for her International Emmy Award dress.

Then, Wendy’s son Little Kev joined her in the “After Show” and clearly, talking about Hot Topics runs in the family.

    Girl I really enjoyed your show on Friday w Debbie Allen! I just love it when you have such positive people on your couch KEEPING IT REAL! I could just listen to Debbie her sister, and Whoopi Goldberg all day lol. Its a beautiful thing to be able to pass on to the younger generations knowledge that you have learned along your personal journey! In this day and age we need some positive influences since a lot of our children aren’t as fortunate as my girls and your Lil Kevin to be raised by their parents and not the idiot box. Hold up, pump the brakes! What kind of a person would attack an 11 yr old about his weight? I’m too out done! Whatever you want to say about Wendy is your business hon, because she is a big girl and she can take it! She is the one in the public eye, not her son! Please just learn a little respect and know that kids are off limits when it comes to personal attacks!!! I also have to take into consideration that the person making that remark may not know any better, so with that in mind you will be in my prayers too boo!

    Anyways! Wendy I enjoy your show! You have me cracking up most days like you did in your radio days…..Thanks for saying it like you mean it! Now thanks to you and your confidence w your wigs, my mom finally got a wig of her own……and she is hot to trot honey!

  3. I just watched the aftershow with lil kevin. And as I stated earlier he is not fat. And I’m proud to say he’s very handsome. And knows how to conduct himself. He wasn’t showing out cause camera’s was on him. And he wasn’t talking out of line while his mom was working. Good sh*t wendy. NEVER be ashamed of something you made. He is a gift, and he is cute and quiet and humble. You could really have a blockbuster show and have him as a co-host on a vacation day from school. As long as you are being respectful to your guests. People would love that. I like him….nothing to hide about him.

  4. Okay first of all let me say I have problems with wendy from time to time and I just recently started airing them on this site. But wendy is wendy and she does what she does! There is no need what so ever for someone to call her son any type of name. My 1st son is little kevins age. And the only reason I brought up her having him on the show was that it seemed she was ashamed. Kids go through phases especially pre-teens. He is not fat he is healthy. It will fall off when he starts playing sports and especially when he becomes sexually active (sorry wendy, I’m prepping for it with my 12 year old now). It is totally wrong, mean and insensitive to spew hatred toward a child. If you have a problem with wendy keep it with wendy like I do. When she’s cool I don’t comment. When she’s wrong I go in hard to remind her she’s a person also. But wtf did her 12 year old innocent son do to you. Don’t do that. Its not cool. And you don’t know how she cooks and what he eats or if’s it’s in his dna to be a little chunky. You probably a fat b*tch yourself that’s why your so quick to call a little boy fat. Wendy does have short paper so I don’t think fresh direct.com would be a problem for her. Stay in your lane, kids are off limits! – PS: wendy too much soda can be bad. PPS: we cool for now :] – just be nice.

    How you doing?? First I must say I love your show, I tape it everyday!! I TELL ALL MY CO-WORKER TO WATCH YOU SO WE CAN TALK ABOUT YOU THE NEXT DAY AT WORK.   9. That’s the first time I’ve seen your son, Kevin! I know he doesn’t appear on TV as much, but he was very respectful. And you had your tabloids in front of you. I see the Garden State Parkway sign on the wall? Did they sent a copy of one of their signs to you? I like the New Jersey turnpike’s own sign logo–you should put that in that pink room too so that you can have both of New Jersey’s famous turnpike signs displayed.

    Your Show Friday was great. Debbie Allen is so real, she make you feel like a girl friend the minute you meet her. Your outfit was good today as always. Wendy, where can I purchase the nail polish with the magnet? I know that you don’t feel this or know this Wendy, but you are now on the most respected and loved level as O.W. you know who I mean. If you do it, if you have it, women want it and will do it.

  12. How u doin Wendy, I love your shows , you keep it real but however, like you eariler about Lindsay Lohan, Im tired hearing about FANTASIA. Someone with more talent, and intergrity will come along and grab the spot light. Im not putting her down but come on you have to look at a person mentality…….she knew the man was married just because someone is separated they are still married until they get the final paperwork that says DIVORCE. Getting pregnant these days when there are so many many birth control options REALLY.! COME on Wendy let’s keep it movin!!!! but this boring news in your time capsule. lol

  15. i love you wendy for coming to memphis, tn at the wolfchase mall and thank god for kim my beautician at trimalla court on park ave for doing my hair on time to get a close up of my wendy & i hate i did not have a camera& i hate i could not hear you well as you was talking but i thank God for the good thoughts and good atmosphere &i was the lady that held up the statue of liberty in my hand that my kids bought in new york so you will not miss new yorkmuch yes i know it dont make sense to people but i felt god sent you to memphis because i cant get out & walk for long periods of time because i broke my hip & i wish it was a elevator in the statue of libertyif it is not one but please do me a favor wendy please send me a picture of yourself & please sign it & please take a picture while you are in the statue of liberty i would like to see how new york look like from that view thanks in advance & God bless you & all who are dear to you & you have a lovely family & staff & your mom & dad are cute as a Couple love from jack rabbit which is my nickname

    Where have I been..so is it officially out that Beyonce is NOT pregnant…not that we didn’t know any better. But I just saw a clip of her mom on Access Hollywood saying that it’s not true at this time and it will happen when it’s suppose to. However, I’m still seeing articles on Beyonce’s crazy cravings…what’s up with that?
    AND she just performed on the Jimmy Fallon show tonight and there was NO bump although she wore all black. Wonder was that intentially just to keep the rumor mill going. I will tell you this, we’ll know when she’s really pregnant…I have a feeling she’ll swell up like Mariah and there won’t be any doubt then and she’ll be wishing she was faking it.

  18. How you doing Wendy! This is my first time seeing Lil Kev. He is a beautiful kid and I can tell he is learning from his mother, who is a wonderful model for him I do not have kids, but I can tell you are a wonderful mother and you son finds you to be intelligent, humorous and he is so proud of you! He looks like you and his granddad. I have never see your husband. By the way, your parents are a beautiful couple, who obviously, were great role models for you. May God continue to bless you!

    Why do you wear really high heel shoes and you can’t seem to walk in them. That’s not cute… wear a regular heel 2 or 3 inches and you will be able to come down the steps in the ordiance and not have to hold on the the chairs. You are already tall…so you can afford to wear a shorter heel…. I love you Wendy…..
