We caught up with Wendy after her BIG season 3 debut!

Wendy reveals why she almost didn’t get a new Hot Topics chair this morning and what she and Kate Gosselin talked about during the break.

    How U doing?

    We are from NY and my 10 years old is your number 1 fan. After school he always watches your afternoon show. I come home and immediately he shared with me the most important details on hot topics. I believe you have a such relaxed and down to earth personality and I was wondering if it is truly real?
    last week, I saw the episode where a lady who is a cancer surviver received a transformation. I cried. It was such a wonderful thing you gave her, her husband and kids in the audience. Plus you invited them for dinner and a Sister Act musical.
    I would love my son to meet you! How can I make this possible?

  4. Wendy, I adore you and your show. However, two things that drive me nuts:
    Please pronounce “jewelry” correctly. It is NOT “jewlery”. Minor, perhaps, but you use the word all the time. Secondly, when you whisper to your guest on the couch (and particularly when you “hide” your mouth behind a blue or pink card) you are being rude to your audience; it is immature and childish. Please stop doing that.
    Other than that, I think you are the best!

  8. Ok, I am a BIG fan of Wendy and like many other fans, I waited months for season 3. I had my dvr set and all, only to watch it a day later and have some crazy goof up where there was 10 mins of a prior season of Wendy recorded at the begining. I miss the whole hot topics! I am so upset!!! I have no idea what happen, it was not any fault of mine or my recorder, plus its too late to catch it on BET!

    Just needed to vent!

  9. I love u so much Wendy & id really love to win that necklace you had on the show today.I really love jewelry. I am so glad your back & i was so happy to see you in Chicago at Wood field shopping mall. I missed you so much all summer & you looked terrific today. I loved the blue dress.

  10. Have you or anyone else ever done a show on Gastric bypass gone wrong? I almost died from mine. I was in a coma for a month after and on all kinds of life support. I have watched and watched for a show like that. I would love to hear from others who got it done and it didn’t go well. It’s been almost five years now and I still have one open wound left to heal up. It almost is thank God. Your friend, Linda

HI WENDY COULD NOT WAIT TO WATCH YOUR PREMIER SHOW WHEN I DID IT APPEARED THAT SOMETHING HAPPENED AN OLD SHOW STARTED FIRST THEN CLICKING TO A NEW SHOW, I REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO U COMING OUT AND ADDRESSING THE CROWD DID NOT SEE THAT THEN 5 MIN IT CLICKED OVER TO U IN HOT TOPICS WHAT HAPPENDED.   13. I think Kate Gosslin Should be on the show “THE TALK” since that seems to be what she enjoys doing the most!!!! I don’t care for Molly From SNL on that show, she should stick with what she knows and that’s comedy, Besides what else will she do where she would be relevant to the world( Kate) Oh Yeah Wendy i’m so glad you are back and Thank You for Visiting Tampa Florida wish i would have met you in person “Friend in my head!!!” The new word this season should be “CHILD BOO” that’s when you have dismissed anything that sounds suspect. Anyway I LOVE YOU WENDY!!!!

  15. Welcome back, Wendy! You look fabulous! :-) Your look, your studio set and your commentary…all of it is wonderful! I’m so glad that your back!

    By-the-by…where did you find that pink plush “Hot Topics” chair and the puple sofa? They are sooo gorgeous! I want them for my home. I haven’t been able to afford to decorate my apartment, but it’s safe, it’s mine and I’m grateful (Thank, the Lord!). :-)

    Please email me back. Monday is my only day off to watch your show. I don’t have any taping technology in my home (i.e., vhs/dvd recorder, etc.), so I can’t tape your shows (but, I’m still blessed!) :-) I would appreciate a reply from you. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
