Wendy, you were the only real star on DWTS, kind of glad its over though because I can’t watch all the stuff you are on, goodness – soaps/dating show/your regular show. OMG, and of course I have to get the Essence magazine. Whew!!!. You looked fabulous with that black jumpsuit on. Love you.

I missed that part of the show–I saw only the first 12 minutes, then left for the store. But the cover of Essence with you on it looks gorgeous! And even a month after Jennifer Hudson’s fabulous cover!

I am new to this blog and blogging in general so I hope this is OK to type here
1.) Awesome job on DWTS!!!! Rumor— Someone spiked the judges eye drops! Lol!
2.) I really wanted to thank you for being open and honest about yourself to the extent that U R:-) I have been wondering how big, bold and beautiful women such as ourselves, can figure out clothing! I definitely do not have your waist size, (6) wish I did. However I am big hipped and big busted. I never realized, you were an awesome size 6. I don’t know how you do it. I look at other women such as yourself and wonder how you fit into such fabulous clothing. I can’t find clothes to fit like that.Well now I know! I am definitely not a size 6 through the mid-section. I am 5’8 and around 200lbs. I can’t look like I have no waist when I do. Until you shared your size, it really never dawned on me. Now I can stop looking and be content with my baggy clothes! Thank you so much! You are great!

Hey wendy i am sooo sorry you got sent home on dwts i love u so much!!!!! You look sooo beautiful on thatr essance magazine. I voted for you 40 times on monday night i did all i could to keep on. I will miss so much on dwts. I look forword to seeing you dance may 24th.

Wendy put her heart and soul into this competition, and looked beautiful doing it. I enjoyed every dance and admired her determination. Maybe she wasn’t actually going to win, but her scores were consistently (and, in my opinion, unfairly) low. I think it’s because the judges worried that she’d have an edge with her viewer votes. I’m going to miss seeing her on DWTS, but I’m so glad we still have her talk show.

I loved watching you on DWTS, because you have such confidence in yourself and your twins. No, you are not the best dancer in the world, but your self-esteem is unparallel. That is something I truly appreciate and promote among the young women I mentor. And you’ve got guts! Congratulations! On the cover of ESSENCE!!!!! You go girl. I am really proud of you. I watch ur show all the time and you are so pleasant & always make me smile. U’r an excellent interviewer. Thanks to my friend Liza, we’ve been to your show twice and it’s always jumpin (the music is bangin) and your staff is great. U’ve been a friend in my head since your WBLS days. I like the advise u give everyone. Keep on doin what you do Wendy cause you do it ALL well.

Wendy, I was watching your show today which is one of my daily routines. I have been through 4 miscarriages 2 in the first trimester and 2 at five months. Today I thank you for talking about your losses because I recently lost my son Josiah on March 11 who I am still grieving. You gave me a sense of hope by telling your story and to keep moving forward with everyday life. May the most high continue to bless you and your family.

Hello Miss Wendy..just want to let you know that you did an AWESOME job on DWTS. My Mom, Daughter and 6mths old son watched you light up the stage when you danced. We all just love you and you will be missed until the finally when you all come back for your final dance. We watch your show religiously. I enjoy the way you talk about your family and everything esle. Keep up the excellent job and God’s continuous blessings….

Hi Wendy! Just wanted to let you know that I loved watching you on DWTS. You said you could not dance and I could see that you were truly trying and I did see improvement. I know that you are a positive person so just continue to keep your head up and don’t listen to people who have nasty things to say, like I always say misery loves company but I am not joining ; ) You have many who love you. I think that you are great and I watch you every morning and I definately consider you “a friend in my head.” lol By the way my son (turning 1 this weekend) loves you too he smiles at the TV when your music comes on and he sees you come out. Its too cute!

Wendy, you dance so well sorry to hear you were voted off!! i nned help wendy, i want to be a full size model and i am an awsome singer.(i really can sing) i dont know where to begin to put myself out there i’m shooting for am amateur night at the apollo and i am going to pu together a portfolio of pictures i may be full figured but i am gorgeous!!! can you help Wendy please please please i know success is all in my future. just about finished in school taking my last class at Sanford Brown soon to be a certified Medical Assistant I have a awsome husband that backs me with all of my endeavors. all i need is a starting point and i can make it happen with the help of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with Him anything is possible! i hope to hear from you this is my 2nd email (i know i am not the only one tryng to reach out to you lol)God Bless you Wendy

Having watched her last dance on the “Stars” and unfortunately all of her appearances, I’m stunned she would appear on her own show the day after getting kicked to the curb as she so richly deserved then choosing today on her program
to hide behind the ever useful description of last night that the judges “dissed” her, sadly a quite common Afican American way of avoiding the fullest reality, that she simply stunk. Why not instead use a parallel African American phrase…”No shame in my game’ since that is equally inaccurate, since in short, she did stink. Why not simply say that ?
