I think WENDY would be the best new hostess of the AM show! I absolutely LOVE you! You caught my attention about a year ago, and now, I watch you everyday! I think you talk about things that everyone wants to hear about and ask the questions that are on the people’s minds. SO thanks!! Hope to catch you at the show one day!

When I found out that Regis was leaving the show I was taken back. It will not be the same without him on the show. But I wish him the best.

Regis leaving is a matter of time. If you are a regular viewer he has been slipping and blurting out ridiculous things Kelly Rippa had to back him up on. It was fun in teh beggining to see teh constant insults been threwn between them on camera until it became so apparentthey both cooledd it down.
There will never be another Regis his voice and mannerism is so distinctive that like maxwell Smart a person can always pick out Regis.

Jimmy Kimmel
Anderson Cooper
Andy Cohen
Kevin Spacey
George Hamilton
Definately not Pat Sajack, Bryant Gumble or Howie Mandel (rumor in LA)! Getting tired of NPH and save Mark for fill in days.

None of the choices you have listed work for me, but if forced I would pick either Mark or Wayne. Mark has the chemistry with Kelly, but Wayne is humorous!
No way should it be Ryan Seacrest, as mentioned earlier this week!!

To be very honest the only time I watched regis and kelly is when a celebrity I liked was on or performing. I think it is time for regis to retire and let someone younger be the host. He needs to rest and enjoy his grandchildren.

There will never, ever be another Regis! He’s awesome and will be so missed. It’s hard to select someone to step in (they will never be able to fill “his” shoes but they need to find their own power. There are a few good possibilities but not Mark (too close to home) and it has to be somebody a bit older than Kelly. She’s a firecracker and needs somebody to play off her and someone that she can ignite. Somebody at least in their late 50′s early 60′s or you’ll lose a giant part of the audience. I’ll so miss Regis. Thanks for the memories Regis. Love you………

WOW, I always really liked Regis – didn’t know he had traits when the camera is not rolling are not at all what he projects on TV. I started watching him years ago in CA when he had a show with Steve Garvey’s first wife – forget her name.
It’s time, to go and let someone else work. When is Ryan Seacrest giving up one of his jobs…

Regis needs to leave. Have you noticed he rarely talks about politics these last 2 years? It’s because he hates Obama. The day after the 2008 elections, one of the tv execs had to come out and stand next to Gelman and make Regis announce that Obama had won. Regis held up the newspaper, said “Obama won”, slammed down the newspaper, and said “Now, I said it.” Then the exec nodded at him and went backstage. Many people hate Obama but they talk about it. I think he hates Obama so much that he won’t even discuss politics. Hmmmmmmmm. He needs to leave. His $$cism is showing and he could ruin his good name, like some other well-known people who’s true feelings about race/ethnicity/nationality exploded out of them after Obama won (like a full balloon no longer able to be held underwater). He needs to go.

I am divided about Regis’ choice to leave after this year. In my opinion, I believe it is time for Regis to retire. On the other hand, he seems to draw a fairly large audience.
It will take someone who will draw an audience and work well with Kelly Ripka. The three nominee are not the greates chlices. There are a few radio personalities who might do well & draw not only a viewing audience, but a live audience.
Personally, Regis is so full of himself! In person, Regis is not the nicest person …unless you can drop names or know someone who is in the business or connected. Or, are a star yourself.
Granted, I know that there are strange people who would do anything to get a picture or autograph, but Regis is NOT one of those celebrities who stops & acknowledges you or would give you the time of day unless it is newsworthy & paps are around to capture him in the moment. YOU are so far beneath him… he comes off as a moody son of a gun.
There must be good qualities or traits we don;t see because Joy has remained with him for a life time and he has two really nice children! Without Gilman & Kelly … or Kathy Lee , he is nothing. He needs that sidekick. I thought he was ancient… no kidding, he ‘s been on TV since I was a little kid & I am 60yrs old !) It ‘s time for the WENDY SHOW TO TAKE THE TIME REGIS LIVE SHOWS’ TIME SLOT!!!!!!!!!!

As for Regis leaving the show I don’t care. I never did like the show even when Kathy Lee was on. I have met & seen Regis out many times & I find that he is not a nice person, that is when you see him on the streets or at events. .He always seems to be in a bad mood…and he’s nasty with everyone, not to mention full of himself. I won’t be missing him at all. All I can say to is GOOD BYE, GOOD BYE and Thank God he’s going.
