DWTS Recap: Week 2
Last night the stars were back to kick up their heels and give it another go around on the dance floor. During last night’s episode, we had the chance to hear from the celebrities on how they felt about their first performance. All of the stars seemed to take heed to the judges constructive criticism and used it to either improve or “over do it” in this week’s performances. Points from last week were combined with this week’s scores to add to their overall totals. The star with the least amount of votes will be sent home on tonight’s results show.

1) Get the Right Fabric: Go for jersey fabrics that drape your body and flutter over your curves or create definition by belting and wearing scarves.
2) Wear the Right Colors: Stay away from busy patterns, prints and florals. It can work against you. Wear bright solid colors in the spring and rich burnt orange or classic black during the fall. When you opt for color over patterns, it has a more slimming effect and gives you a chic look.
3) Get the Right Cut: Wear a cut that flatters your body. Avoid wearing a mini skirt or dress that can make you look stumpy. Take a cue from Vanessa Williams who wears a “midi-length,” that makes her look sultry and sophisticated.
4) Do Your Research: There are great brands that cater to full figure women. This way you’ll never have to sacrifice your style again!
