Guy Fieri’s Italian Stuffed Jalapenos
No Super Bowl party is complete without the perfect appetizers.
Here is Guy Fieri’s stuffed jalapenos recipe that will spice up your party.
Ingredients:
15 Jalapenos, preferably red, cut in half, seeded and deveined
1 tablespoon canola oil
¼ cup red onions, minced
¼ cup red bell pepper, minced
3 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 pound Italian turkey sausage, mild
12 ounces light cream cheese, softened
¼ cup Reggiano parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
2/3 cup Panko bread crumbs
Keep reading for preparation instructions…
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees, and place jalapenos on a sheet tray and roast for 5 minutes, then remove and let cool.
In a medium sauté pan over medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon oil and when hot, add onions and peppers and sauté until onions just become translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic, cook one minute more. Remove vegetables to bowl and add sausage to pan, cook 6-8 minutes or until done, breaking large pieces apart as it cooks. Drain fat from pan and place sausage in bowl with vegetables.
Let all hot ingredients cool to room temperature, fold in cream cheese, and parmesan, mix ingredients thoroughly.
Place approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture into half of jalapeno, and top with ½ teaspoon of mozzarella cheese and ½ teaspoon panko bread crumbs.
Place sheet tray of stuffed peppers in oven and bake at 300 for 5-8 minutes or until mozzarella cheese melts and panko crisps and is light golden in color.
Serve immediately.
Yield: 30 pieces
Prep time: 20 minutes

Wendy, In order to get tickets why is it “mandatory” for me to upload my picture? What do I do if I don’t have a picture to upload? Remember, everybody doesn’t necessarily have digital cameras. Also, many people don’t even know how to “upload” a picture.
Is this a means to “ensure” that you only get a certain age group? I see that your audience seems to always be very young. If your reason is to only have an audience of young people, shame on you…..of all people.
I would appreciate a thoughtful response and NOT an “automated generic” response which doesn’t address my specific question. Also, please don’t send one of those “…thank you for writing. We’re glad to hear from you….” responses that ignores the concerns of the writer.
Thank you.

Hiya Weny…how you doin? I was going to make these for Super Bowl and my boyfriend tallked me out of it. He said that I should try and make them first…like I can’t cook. Well…I made something safe and then tonight I made them. He ate sooo many and then was like BABE YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE THESE FOR SUPER BOWL. OMG. Thanks for recipe. My new party favorite.
