We liked our “How You Doin’?” room, but the stars of HGTV’s “Design Stars,” Vern Yip and Genevieve Gorder, came to our rescue.

Hi Wendy: How U Doin?
Well, a couple of things: I hope no one with allergies has to stay within those “wool” walls for more than a few seconds, they catch everything……….
I’m not so thrilled with Vern and company lately because since they acquired their fame; they lost their innocence and with their new show “Design Star” are completely arrogant and uppity……….it’s a hard show to watch; since the nubbie designers need more guidance than negativity; I am truly unimpressed with the pair.
On the positive note, ever since I found your show one late night (11-midnight on BET) ; I teach during the day when you are on much earlier in the afternoon…………; I fell in love with your show……… You make me smile and you are so out there with what you feel and want to say………it’s great and so are you……..

Okay, I’ve been in the VIP room (I’m cameraman Kenny’s cousin) and I can tell you, you need a BIGGER VIP room, not a makeover. There are not enough chairs for the people that are in there. I have asked for tickets again for a show on September 7 and hope to make into the VIP room again and meet you as well. Can’t wait to see you again. Tell Kenny I said Hey!!
