    I am an amazonian African women and i really dig your style. I am definately a fan, i like your style and fab fashion sense. In particular I wanted to find out where i can order a pair of those drop dead amazingly fabulous shoes you wore on Monday the 19th July in your interview with Jennifer love hewitt. Having recently seperated myself from an abusive relationship, im on the road to recovery. I am 6ft tall and have never had the confidence to wear killer heels although secretly i’v always wished to. Now that i’ve vowed to live life to the fullest, the best way to do it is with a pair of those killer heels. Because I wear an american size 11, UK does not cater for big black beautiful amazonians like myself, unless you prepared to look like you shop on Granny alley. So please do share, pretty please.xx

  7. Because of the wonderful organization National alopecia areata organization (NAAF) woman DO get support and ideas about wigs, scarfs, etc for they get all those things at the support groups. These groups are not pity parties, there is laughter (lots), and sharing of wonderful resources. Are there tears? Of course! I myself cry when I am happy. You would not be human if you did not cry in this hair obsessed world we live in. Wonderful friends are made. Grown women and young girls meet each other and develop friendships outside of the group. Great ideas and support are the things they need on how to respond to comments from others not living with the disease and how one learns to live life with the disease with their heads up and their hearts strong.
    At the very same time the money that is raised goes to research. Research is the one thing that has my sister in law gives thanks to in order to be alive today. Breast cancer used to be a death sentence, no longer. Her hope was one that you could not take away and you can’t take away my hope either. I will continue to live my life but, still have the hope in my heart that thanks to NAAF someone someday will find the cure. Until then, look out I’m living the life that God gave me.

Jennifer Love-Hewett God I Love This Woman, She Is Always So Spunky, Funny And So Gorgeous And How Great Did She Look On That Magazine Cover OMG? Jennifer I Love You And Have Been Of You Ever Since The Days Of Party Of Five And For Taylor Lauitner To Do Jennifer Like That Was Just Disrespectful I Mean Hello This Is The Legendary Jennifer Love-Hewett Who Is Famous For TV And Movies, Who The Hell Is Taylor Lauitner Anyway? Anyway Wendy I Also Loved, Loved, Loved The Adorable Joey King And I Can’t Wait To Go See Ramona & Beezes I Remember All The Books In School And My Teachers Reading Them To The Class, Can’t Wait To See The Movie This Weekend!     I absolutely love shoes, and today those shoe that you and Jennifer Love had on were simply stunnining. I was floored when i saw them, I know that they are probably a very expensive pair of shoes, but im just dying to know who makes them and where I can find them. Even if they will only be worn on my wish list……lol…….thanks.

While national foundations raise funds for the far off and highly uncertain research of tomorrow, the quality of life for the women living TODAY with alopecia areata improves greatly when meeting others. Most of them hide in plain sight, unable to utter the words, “I have alopecia areata”. Shame, anxiety and embarrassment are rampant. Too many undress in the dark; fear revealing hair loss to a colleague or date; or hide their wigs from their children. “I have alopecia areata” need not be taboo. What women need are the tools for successful living today using all their options: wigs, hats, scarves or bald.

    I am glad to see Kayla on your show today. She was courageous enough to show her real hair on the show. I applaud her. I lost my hair due to cancer at age 7 and little has grown back over the years. Doctors say I have alopecia as well. Thank you for your inspiration Wendy… That’s why I love your show!

I think it is so great to see someone else that suffered from alopecia I suffered from it at the age of 6 My hair finally grew back when I entered Middle school most people dont know what it is and its hard for those that have it even at a young age I think its great that you had her on the show to bring more awareness alopecia Thank you!
