  2. I think this is great. Thoght about collection old hair just didnt know how to get started i have a few ideals to put them to use. I was having trouble getting threw or information on how to send the hair to the people without putting lots of information in the system. if you could tell the website people to be a little more to the point that would be nice. Keep doing what your doing and your gonna stay blessed.

  8. Wendles,
you had me laughing with the Clinton impression…”that was good”!! I like your shorter wig too, try tucking one side behind one of your ears…If i were you I would stay away from the darker hair it is too harsh for your complexion. You rock!!!

  9. Wendy, whatcha doing? I miss the interaction between you and the audience, please bring back “Ask Wendy”!! I miss it!

  10. Speaking of wigs…LOVE the new shorter flippy hair. Looks GREAT on you. Will we ever see you in a true short Bob wig?

  11. Uummmm…. Did she say blood diamonds?! Am I the only one who heard her say that?

  12. I already heard a lot about the hair and what a great Idea. How does a hair salon get around the health Department laws to be able to do this ?? I would think if there was a little bending of the rules in some counties and states, a lot more people would be donating the hair they leave behind on the floor. Can you add some additional information regarding how to get around the law on this one ??

  13. Hello again Wendy,
About the hair soaking up the oil, I called my best friend Shirley of 35 years and told her about it . She is a hair dresser in Springfield Mo. Guess what her shop is already saving hair for the Gulf way cool.

  14. Hello Wendy,
I am 47 years old and I remember Dolly’s early years with Porter and watched their show all the time with my mom and dad. I have a very musical family and it was my Mother Dolly and Loretta Lynn who taught me how to sing . If I were 25 years younger I would be on Idol. I use to tell myself when I was star struck that I was going to remake the song JUST BECAUSE IM A WOMAN it was one of her first. Like Barbera Mandrell would say ” I was country when country wasnt cool.”
    Anyway “HOW YOU DOIN”

P.S. How can I comment on your facebook ?

  15. Love this concept! Along with the rest of the world, curlies are concerned about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

But did you know that just by having a haircut, you could be helping clean up spills like the one threatening the Gulf Coast right now?

Matter of Trust is a philanthropic organization that collects hair clippings from all over the world, and ship them to U.S. manufacturers who weave them into mats that can soak up oil and clean beaches and harbors.

Encourage your salon to learn more about Matter of Trust.

After the Exxon Valdez oil slick disaster, Phill McCrory, a stylist from Alabama, realized that hair was an efficient and abundant material for collecting and containing petroleum spills.

So, NaturallyCurly.com encourages you to get your hair cut, and save a fish.

  16. ROFFLMFAO Wendy, u had me dying with your Bill Clinton read on the show! You are crazy funny!

  17. Wendy just stated on the show that the oil spill was in Mexico, where has she been? The Gulf Coast residents are the ones losing the tourists, not Mexico as she stated. The oil has come on shore in Louisiana and Alabama, eventually will hit Missippis and Florida. She may want to correct that.

  18. omg!! thats sooo sweet of wendy :) good for you! but unfortunately I dont own wigs!
but I will spread the word!
