  1. Mariah, forgive me for not speaking the truth in love on my last comment. I believe you are a tender hearted person but the Lamb manual (the Bible) says that’s only part of the requirement because our own goodness does not qualify us for God’s acceptance, simply because we are all so tainted and have fallen short of the mark to begin with. We can never do enough goodness to qualify ourselves because again we would still be giving God our version of clean. A true lamb is one who has been washed by Jesus and who then lives his/her life in accordance with His principles and requirements. When we take the name of Jesus we should then be an example to the rest of the world about his righteous and holy way. That’s God’s way. While He loves every sinner, He does not love or accept our sinful ways. Jesus saves us ‘from’ our sin, not ‘in’ our sin. We have all sinned, but once we repent and are converted we are no longer in the same category; God then looks at us through the covering of the blamelessness of his Son. That has to happen and there is no way around it, no half for God and half for the devil. Anything not for God is for the enemy and God therefore requires total surrender, His way. I thought about how awesome it would be if your talent would be used to glorify God and not the way of the Deceiver.

Wendy i like your style, its amusing and your new jersey/new england accent goes well with tv more than radio now that we can see the whole person antics and all. sorry i don’t get to see all your shows. With regard to the ‘spanking’ topic you wanted to get feedback on, if you are so inclined, King Solomon, the wisest man [male] who ever lived has a lot to say about the benefits of spanking… found in the Bible. Apparently he was not the wisest [person] only the wisest [male] because women were his downfall.

  3. People are talking about losing respect for Nick Cannon because he married Mariah to get a free ride and what not. We all should very well know that Mr. Cannon on his own could have afforded a way more decent merry-go-round than most of us. I know I’m being naughty here, but I feel the need to blow up Mariah’s spot because she moved in on Nick Cannon… I had a long-distance crush on him when he was a single man, so. Mariah said on David Letterman that it was Nick who googled HER (and not the other way around) but the girl is not as naïve as she lets on. I’m betting she wrote that song that she asked Nick to do the video with her, with him in mind. She wrote the part for him because she knew he had the crushes on her and it would have been too obvious for her to initiate stuff so she invented a reason… a reason that gave her the latitude to show ENOUGH skin to get the poor guy’s eyes popping and his head turning. S-N-E-A-K-Y Mariah! No fair! Those touch my body, cookies and milk, she-devil in a red bikini firefightress songs and getups give you away so bad. Being ‘spiritual’ is not the requirement; being ‘converted’ is, if you really mean what you say about what keeps you so “grounded”. I hope that’s not just so you can appear to be more appealing to your husband because truth will find you out.

  4. I don’t often join the fray of social commentary unless it’s for a worthy cause… such as this topic. I find it hypocritical that people are referring to Nick Cannon as a reverse gold digger. He was obviously Nick Cannon and not a Larry Fortensky when he joined himself to Mariah Carey. We knew about Nick Cannon before Mariah Carey. Besides, I checked the people’s rule book and there’s no stipulation there that when you meet the person your heart desires you must ensure that your financial worth be such and such, especially if you want to satisfy Joe and Jane Public. Let’s move those conversations to the TRASH for lack of objectivity for those who are yapping and couldn’t come close to the financial category it would take to buy Mariah Carey even the wedding ring she has. Please stop the foolishness. I have always admired Nick Cannon and I personally feel he is on the endangered specie list, for one – trying to do the right thing to preserve a woman’s honor through marriage rather than jumping into her bed and running off when he’s had his fill like so many guys his age, older or younger. He wants to have a marriage the way marriage is supposed to be, and Mariah was the lucky girl. Obviously Nick was always taken with Mariah – so should he have kept the marriage thing out of the picture for fear of talk? Why doesn’t he have the right like everyone else to not be judged because he chose who he did? Why does he get a label as if people could read his heart or mind? Nick keep on praying. God will guide you in everything if you acknowledge him in all your ways and lean not to your own understanding.

    AND THE COMMENT THAT SHE’S GAINING WEIGHT I SAY GOOD THAT MEAN SHES EATING FULL COURSE MEALS HEALTHY IN LOVE.
