  1. My God Wendy, there is a story posted about a Lester Russell Jr. I have done a little bit of digging into this story and this is a case that can use your help. Our Judicial System is failing when it results to a race for a conviction none of us is safe. As I dug into this case I found that this is infact a true story it is all over the internet and this family is in turmoil trying to fight for Lester.     I would like to say that I just enjoyed the show on that day! It was very heartfelt when you a Ms. Celine talked about the difficulty of conceiving and pregnancy itself. Many men and women alike think that it is so easy to have a child. But often, there are many women in the same situation as you two beautiful persons. Although I am not yet a mother ( I think I still have time-I’m 27 now), I am very motherly to many. I look forward to the day!
    P.S., today is May 31, 2010 and according to UsWeekly.com: Ms. Celine Dion is expecting! With twins! Congrats to her!

    Loved your hair, nice seeing Rickie Lake again used to watch her all the time. Also loved seeing Celion Dion she’s one of my favorite singers . Have a great month off.     Last week was simply fabulous!!! The wig..i love the new wig..I want one!!! I am having the same thyroid problems that thinned your hair, and I have been looking for a wig that is flattering…I think that style will be my first of many!!!! Thank You!!!

All I can say is WOW and what a week this has been, a good week but also a sad week because Wendy is going on vacation for the whole month of June so Friday was her last show but Wendy we all love you and enjoy your time but please, please, please hurry back girlfriend cuz I for one love you more than you know. Wendy I loved your new wig you looked so glamorous and chic in that new style, from the back you reminded me a little of First Lady Michelle Obama so sexy and so beautiful girl! I also am a recessionista girl, I love Wal-Mart so much, I swear I live there and I loved your dress you wore on the Red Carpet at the Sex And The City 2 premeire, your always so beautiful no matter what you wear! I also loved The BackStreet Boys, talk about a throw back, girl you and The Backstreet Boys took me back to the day Im so glad there back together! Also Ricki Lake looked so beautiful and lovely on the show, I miss her doing her thang on the talk show stage and wish she would return with The Ricki Lake Show, I was a fan of Ricki’s for years! I also loved that Celine Dion called into the show, Celine is so beautiful and fabolous and I wish her and her family all the best! I also loved that Jamie Kennedy stopped by, he was so hilarious and it was so sweet to give him a birthday cake! I also loved your interview with Ice Cube, he is not only the greatest rapper ever but also a great actor as well, Im looking forward to his new show Are We There Yet! Also to end things I loved that T.I. got a chance to sit down and talk with you Wendy, Iam such a fan of T.I. even though I don’t condone what he did, he is so amazing as an artist and a family man, How You Doooooin T.I. so glad The King Is Back!   11. I love Wendy!!! She is like a breath of air on daytime TV. I have all my friends watching her. However I was very upset with Wendy when she said Hank should divorce Kendra (not a fan of either). He knew what he got himself into. Everybody knows about Kendra’s drug problem when she was younger. It was during the time that this porn was taped. Wendy of all people should not judge. Wendy battled a drug addiction too. If we were to take a stroll down memory lane I know she did things back then that she wouldn’t be proud of today. So I ask Wendy if those things should happen to come out should Big Kevin divorce you? Wendy you should think a little more before you judge! I still love Wendy and I always will you are my best friend in my head. I will continue to support you in all your endeavors. Like all good friends I need to check her this time. WENDY JOAN WILLIAMS HUNTER you were WRONG on this one.

  12. As a woman with thining hair I would dearly love to know where we can purchase a similar wig!! I absolutely love it but would love it with bangs!
    My husband has been out of work for a year and a half which I’m sure has added to my stress that is thining my hair out so I would have to find one that is probably not as expensive! Oh well one can dream! But anyhow the wig was absolutely fabulous on you. What a great show you have you keep our spirits up we need more like you making us happy not depressed!! So glad your presence graces our TV’s!!!

    Attorney Rochelle Hao continued to switch judges throughout her strategic process to obtain a conviction while abusing her prosecutorial discretion with bias and strategic manipulation of our Judicial System

    Lester Russell Jr. 23year old college student of Sac City College was given a LIFE sentence on May 17, 2010 by the above stated judge Davidian for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and gang enhancement. 

    My complaint is the fact that eye witness Suzan Broda who was at the scene of the crime saw the shooting and testified that Lester Russell was NOT the shooter, the witness explained to the courts that the shooter in this case didn’t even resemble Russell. 

    The victim Jashon Warren who attended high school with Russell reported to detectives upon his investigation that he wasn’t sure who actually shot him but thought that his name was Trey.

    First and foremost if perhaps the victim new for a fact that the accused Lester Russell was the shooter he would have stated that immediately because they attended school together shared classes and were really good friends. The victim Warren spent lots of time with the accused when they were in school and spent several nights at the Russell family’s home.  Warren has explained to the Russell family that he told the courts the truth and they didn’t listen he was very apologetic but explained that he was afraid of the threats of the District Attorney Rochelle Hao but didn’t let that stop him from telling the truth.

    During trial Warren explained to the courts that Russell was not the shooter.  Eyewitness Suzan Broda testified to the same and gave a detailed description of the shooter. 

    During the courts recess District Attorney Rochelle Hao threatened Warren with a 3-year perjury jail sentence if he refused comply.  When bought back to the stand and asked if Russell was the shooter Warren insisted that Russell was NOT the shooter. 

     What troubles me is that the District Attorney is allowed to threaten a victim, who has obviously suffered enough.

     This District Attorney Rochelle Hao based this case on past experiences of similar cases of this caliber. 

    The Truth Is The Truth and that cannot be changed.  Hao’s strategic moves influenced the jury to believe that this was a clear case of fear, pointing out that Warren was afraid of gang retaliation therefore he is saying that Russell was not the shooter. 

    Even if that was her strategy how does the courts explain the eyewitness who also said Russell wasn’t the shooter.

    After a short deliberation by the Jury the verdict was in GUILTY.

    Lester was represented by a state appointed public defender Hillary Davisson, who failed to subpoena witnesses on Russell’s behalf at the very least his wife, his mother or any hair stylist to explain the difference in the eyewitness statement in regards to her description of the actual shooter.  Or to offer and objective description of Russell’s character.

    Judge Ben Davadian failed to uphold the California Code of Judicial Ethics, which was amended by the Supreme Court of California effective April 29, 2009.

    Canon 2. A Judge shall avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety in all of the judge’s activities

    Canon 6. Compliance with the code of judicial ethics.

    These standards have existed for over 50 years; being that District Attorney Rochelle Hao continued to switch judges throughout her strategic process to obtain a conviction while abusing her prosecutorial discretion with bias and strategic manipulation of our Judicial System to secure a conviction.

    Judge Davidian has fallen victim to her courtroom manipulation.

    Judge Ben Davidian Republican elect by governor Arnold Schwarzenegger sentences 23-year old college student Lester Charles Russell Jr., African American male to 25 years to life, 17 years to run consecutive + 3years concurrent.  Charges: Attempted Murder, Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Great Bodily Harm/Injury and Gang Enhancement.

    Davidian quotes to Imperial Valley News “it’s very rare that you can be in a position to affect so many lives and help so many people, I’m delighted.”  

    Family of Lester Russell is outraged as they respond that Davidian has definitely affected their lives. “We will leave no stone unturned, to prove Lester’s innocence.  It is our responsibility to prove that not only has Sacramento wrongfully convicted my brother, but they slandered his character in a way we never imagined.” Quotes Laura sister of Russell.

     Victim of the shooting Jashon Warren of Sacramento testifies that the shooting occurred July 21, 2008 he states that Russell was not the shooter during a cross examination by public defender Hillary Davisson; eyewitness Suzan Broda was at the crime scene says Russell was not the shooter. “The guy who shot the gun had dreads,” Says eyewitness

    Dreadlocks also called locks or dreads, they are matted coils of hair, Russell was known for wearing French braids which is the basic method to create African braids or cornrows the main mass of hair is initially parted into two or more sections along the scalp that are kept separate from one another. 

    “Any hairstylist could have testified, and helped the jury to understand the difference between Dreads and Braids, but my brother says there was not even one African American juror to even explain the difference during the jurors deliberation.” says Laura 

    Davadian returned to Sacramento, California in 1991, from 1991 to 2005 Davidian was chairman of the California Fair Political Practices Commission and then chairman and member of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Appeals Board.  Before his elect by governor Schwarzenegger Davidian specialized in political election and campaign law.

    “Obviously Davidian must have been qualified to make such a decision, I don’t understand why he gave my brother a life sentence, being that the bulk of his career was in campaign law. How can they get away with this!” Shouts Poindexter brother of Russell. 

    Russell was represented by California State Public Defender Hillary Davisson, who was unsuccessful in proving the smallest of facts, such as Lester’s non-affiliation with street gangs.

     Attorney Pete Kmeto was retained to assist Russell with a possible retrial after being found guilty by a jury, the retrial was denied on May 14, 2010.  

    The family believes that the courts were one sided and ruined Russell’s life.  Placing the blame on the District Attorney, Rochelle Anne Hao. “She painted such an horrific picture of my brother.

    The Judicial System should not be based on scenarios based on past cases or past experiences. She didn’t even consider the facts. Someone please tell me where did she come up with the idea that Lester was a gang member?

    Gang members don’t usually go to college especially to major in criminal justice” Says, Laura 

    “The tattoo on Lester’s neck says the he is from a Los Angeles Crip gang.” Says District Attorney, Rochelle Anne Hao. 

    Russell’s family is outraged as they state that they can show many pictures of the same tattoo, which represents Los Angeles Dodgers.

    “My brother is a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, I was with him when he got the tattoo it is black, and represents Los Angeles Dodgers, he didn’t have a chance to get the tattoo completed before he was hauled off to jail.

    “The Game” has the same tattoo on his cheek, he is not from a California Crip gang everybody knows that, people get NYC on them too are they all from a New York Crip Gang?” says Gabrielle sister of Russell  

    “The Game” comments on his tattoos to The Game360.com March 01, 2007 The L.A. logo under his right eye that covers an old tattoo of a butterfly was hardly the product of a long-thought-out plan. “I woke up one morning and I was on my sh*t like I usually be, and I felt like I was the face of L.A.,” he said. “So I went to the tattoo shop and put L.A. on my face.”  The tattoo that the LA symbol covered had and still has plenty of personal meaning for Game, a family man through and through.

    Russell accused of being from a Los Angeles Street Gang has never resided in Los Angeles, according to both his mother and father.  The family explains that Russell never attended school in LA neither does Russell have any family that reside in Los Angeles.

    “I didn’t copy The Game when I got my tattoo, I didn’t even know that The Game had the same tattoo, I am a Los Angeles Dodgers fan and my tattoo represents my love for the Los Angeles Dodgers.” Says Russell when asked about his identical tattoo. 

    “What are we going to do now? I have the pictures that we took together in July to prove my brother’s whereabouts, but how am I going to get the courts to listen to me. Where are we going to get the money to keep Pete, for the appeal, we have to prove that they made all these mistakes, we have to let our voices be heard we cannot give up.” Says Gabrielle 

    The family is reaching out to the public.  “We need to stand up for others in Russell’s situation. We need to be the voice for them all, imagine how many lives we can really change, imagine how many people lives has been ruined by the California Judicial System, imagine how many innocent people need our help.” Says Ameda Hasan, cousin of the accused.

    When speaking to Russell’s wife she had this comment to add:“Lester took joy in coming home after school every night to dinner with me and our children, he watched house of mouse every morning with our children before attending school he is not a gang member and I was with him July 21, 2008 I know that he didn’t do what he is being accused of” Says his wife Dandrea Russell 

    “Lester is a good kid, he is so funny, he is my only son, his father Lester Russell Sr. and I didn’t raise him to have love for gangs and we didn’t raise him to kill, he is not a cold blooded person like District Attorney, Rochelle Anne Hao described him in court.  Of all my children he has the least tattoos, you should see his sisters they have tattoos everywhere. I didn’t discourage my sons from getting LA on his neck because it is harmless, I didn’t raise my son in Los Angeles, my son is from San Bernardino California, my son is a college student, a father, a brother, a friend. I was with my son on July 21, 2008 and I have the pictures to prove it. My son is innocent.” Says Russell’s mother Evelyn

Wendy i am a woman of a certain age (44) and i stand about 6′1 and my bra size is a if you read this on tv please don’t say my size please 50 I and i have maxi dresses that i would like to wear but need a strapless bra and one that will hold these boys (smile) could you please do a fashion show for tall and busty women it gets depressing to have to buy a shirt or blouse bigger that what i actually wear and here lately i have found some really cute dress that i would like to wear but need a good strapless bra, wendy i don’t like to play victim so i don’t want you to think i feel sorry for my bust size i just need the proper under attire and help would be appreciated. Yes i do under stand she made a mistake but she’s now married and in love with a child.     You made the comment that Kendra’s husband should divorce her because of recent events, but he’s not ashamed of this mess with the video tape. He knew what he was marrying – I don’t care how classy Playboy is supposed to be. She’s a chic with her behind raised up in the air & legs open in many magazine issues and all his teammates probably have seen every issue. That’s just how they get down and that’s what he chose to put a ring on and bring forth his children with. The whole situation is tacky and Hank loves it-he and Kendra are cut from the same cloth.

  20. Wendy I just had to write you. I truely love you and your show. You are the realest most down to earth person on t.v., but what you said today I did not agree with you. You were talking about Kendra’s sex tape and you said Hanks should divorce her. Listen I know you were keeping it real and I respect that and to tell you the truth I am not even sure what to think about the situation, but I don’t think he should divorce her. I was thinking that maybe Hank knows all about Kendra’s past and he accepts her anyway. Who are we to know. For gods sake she was with Hugh Hefner when they met. And I believe Kendra must of gave Hef a couple of BJ’s. Also when she was on your show she confided in you about her drug past, so maybe when she made te tapes she was out of it. Still no excuse for young girls to do foolish things. Because as proven in the end everything we do in life comes back to bite you. On the other hand I do feel bad for Hank in the locker room with the other guys, but hopefully he is confident enough not to care and they are truely in love. Never mind the football team looking at Kendra’s cooch, think about her in laws. Embarrassing thanksgiving dinenr huh?
