I will be 52 on 9/11. I love my headbands. Sometimes I pull my hair into one long ponytail and different times of headband skinny and thick. Sometimes when its almost time to get a perm and color, I wear a thick cloth headband around the edges to run to the store. I’m in the south and it is hot and humid, so a headband is perfect. So I say go for it. You will let great. My husband always say to wear whatever you like, but don’t let wear you.

Like you, I feel like I look better now then I ever did in my life. I’ve put so much mental, spiritual and physical effort into looking and feeling great so I wear what I want and don’t acknowledge the age rules.
So, wear the headband! You’ll look great. You can incorporate them into your wigs.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Most of us can reasonably expect to live into our 70s. With this in mind, do we really stop wearing exciting clothes when we are 35 and spend the next 1/2 of our lives in boring conventional outfits?

Why do you always refer to yourself as a woman of a certain age all the time ? We get it Wendy you are 45 years old what is the big deal? By you saying so much is it because you feel you don’t look it or you are insecure about it?
Another thing why constantly bring up that you wear a wig on every show? We get that too only because it is obvious and everyone knows that you are not a “natural” kind of woman anyway but, it seems as if you try to make fun of yourself before anyone else does so, I guess I get that about you. Lastly, why do you always stop yourself when you are in mid-sentence and seem to have a over-abundance of saliva in your mouth? Very irritating!!! I’m just saying!!!
