  1. I agree with one of the e-mails. When a sister is doing her thing she is thrown under the bus, but when a Kim K, or Heidi M do the same, its complimented like they have really done something. It’s almost the same thing as growing up loving Jayne Kennedy (whom we all love) but what about the Pam Grier, Judy Pace, Diana Ross, of the world. Love what we have….

  2. Gabrielle Union is the bomb – she is beautiful, smart, and such a community giver. Marriage break up because of the two people married. Since High School they have been together – people outgrow each other, and people especially parents need to live by truths. The wife should not fight thru her children. If you want your husband, fight like a women with the women, but leave the kids out of it. No respectful parent would do what you are doing.

    In your HOT TOPICS segment you all but vilified Gabrielle Union. I am surprised that even you would take published information as complete and total truth. As you have stated on other occasions “there are two sides to every story and then there’s the truth”. In so many cases women use the children as pawns in their arguments/issues with current or ex-spouses. Before condemning Miss Union find out what SHE and Dwayne have to say in their defense before passing judgement.

    I am so Upset…OUTRAGED ACTUALLY….
    I believe i saw on your show, a few weeks back, about a controversy of FOX/American Idol not wanting to aire a lanebryant/clinique linguire commercial because it was not a family oriented commericial and “THE AVERAGE SIZED” women had a little more to show than the VS models -(which does not advertize for the average sized women). Well….American idol feature lady gaga as their special guest last night. She was wearing a fishnet full body suit with “dressing”, a bra and underwear (maybe a thong)showing cheek. How is that any different???? I would say it is worse. How is that Family Oriented/family friendly??? The plus size/average women of the world recieve so much discrimination-considering there are more women sz 12 and up the in the worls than there are women sz 12 and below!!! THAT WAS THE MOST CONTRADICTORY MESSAGE EVER!!!!!!
    So it is ok to show a skinny celebrity in underwear with her butt hanging out ON THE SHOW, but we cant show the AVERAGE woman’s body, in a respectable/tasteful fashion, with a little clevage….IN A COMMERCIAL.
    AMERICA/NETWORK EXECS WE GOTTA DO BETTER!!!!!!
    THIS IS WHY THERE ARE SO MANY YOUNG GIRLS WITH LOW SELF ESTEEM, EATING DISORDERS, BULLYING, AND COMMITING SUICIDE.

  5. Today waz another fabolous show Wendy and I love you so much! I miss you coming out onto the stage twirling around and showing us all what your wearing, Wendy your the diva of daytime and when you step out on stage I want you to twirl around and work it girl no matter what the haters say! I loved Pam Grier on the show today she looks so beautiful and I loved what she had to say about what she looks for in man and OMG what about the beautiful Toni Braxton? I loved that song she sang today on the show, she has an amazing voice and we all miss you Toni, we want you back in the music game full time girlfriend!

  7. hey girl about the spanking i think it is very good i have no kids but my sister has 13 and i rasied her now 8 year old but the problem is that children know if you hit me i will call the cops so from experience my sister said that to my mom and the cop told my sister is good you ans eveery other child that acts like you deserve it but you can spank and not beat there is a fine line i was beat by my step father because i am gay i always said i am to big for closets and they are for clothes lol. i wolud never hit my nephew because i know how it feels but to spank him for doing wrong yes i am for it because if some parents would have done that just maybe we would not have all the killing,stealint and ect but got to go love you

  8. I have supported your show but enough is enough. I thought it was disgraceful how you throw Gabrielle Union under the bus without even considering that the mother may be influencing the child to say those ridicious things. No man in their right mind tells a son this is my girlfriend and she is the reason why we are getting a divorce. It sounds unbelievable. More importantly you slandered Gabrielle unnceccsassry without knowing all the facts. Girlfriends do not cause husbands to cheat. They have to be invited into the relationship. I also noticed recently you readily throw black folks under the bus viciously like you did on your radio show. Obviously you are showing your true colors and are “color blind”. shame on you.

  9. How you doing? I tape your show every morning and watch it when I come home from work. One of today’s topics D. Wade/Gabby relationship…Please remember there are two side to every story and in this situation, three sides. There have been several lawsuits involving this case from both sides. Gabby has spoke about the relationship stating that she was not involved with D. Wade until the seperation. And I hope this is not one of those situations when the parent plays the child against the other parent. I pray for the children and their well being…How you doing?=)

  11. Wendy, loved it when you talked about Miracle Whip. As a child in Iowa, my brothers and I always had Miracle Whip on white bread as a snack after school. We called a mayo sandwich because we never had the other in the house. I was in my 20′s before I had the real Mayo- You should try it!!!

  12. Wendy, you really upset me side eyeing Gabriel Union, because of the things that Siovaughn is alledging saying happen. D’wayne also said that Siovaughn was an un-fit mother. So sideeye Siovaughn too! That really upset me! Anyway, I’ll be over it and back in love with you tommorow! LOL.

    I am commenting on the spanking of children as well. I am speaking from years of experience. I have a 27 yr old son that can amen the number of little leg swats he had as a small child. And unlike the former comment, didn’t hurt me a bit. I came from the old school, spare the rod, spoil the child. Didn’t hurt me and certainly didn’t hurt my son. I never hit him very hard, but he knew he had been swatted. Never, never any place but on the back of his legs.Today, he is a responsible young man with a family of his own and the best father any child could ask for. I am proud of him every day of his life. I am so afraid of the generation coming up of the parents who’s children are totally out of control. What kind of adults will they be? Love you lots Wendy, you make my day.

  16. Hey Wendy, HOW YOU DOIN’!!!!!!! I try to watch your show every morning and I’m glad I watched it today. I’m ‘Old School’ and I do believe in spanking. Not beating, but spanking. My mom spanked us when we were growing up(and they were some doozies) there are 5 of us and all of us are still alive. I have 3 children and I also spanked them, not on a daily basis, but when they were disobedient, and they are still living. My two daughters are nurses with degrees and my son is a single parent and has a very good job. Society put it out there, that we should not spank our kids because it is abuse. There is a difference between spanking and abuse. The BIBLE says, “You spare the ROD, you spoil the child!” Every child don’t need to be spanked. I work with the public and most of the children I come in contact with are completely out of control and the parents seem to be afraid to take control. It’s sad. An old fashion ‘Butt Whipping’ ain’t gonna kill them!

    Wanted to comment on the spanking of children in your hot topics segment. I have a twelve year old and I can tell you that my husband and I have probably spanked our daughter four times. It probably hurt us more then it did her. But she got the point behind our doing so. My parents didn’t have a problem spanking all six of us kids and we all turned out pretty good. None of us are on drugs, alcoholics or in jail. Spanking is good when done out of love and when the child knows why they’re receiving the punishment. I mean come on in Bible times they stoned disobedient children. Soooo with that said a little spanking should not be an issue for anyone. Btw I love your free spirit and your since of style and being who you are.
