How you doing! I loved the fashion show it so good to see young girls wearing age appropriate clothing. There are so many times when I see young girls age 9-14 wearing clothing that you see on much older girls. They have way to much skin showing. I say to myself do the mother realize there are so many man looking at their daughters as if they are ground woman? Im also glad to here Sally Miller has a fashion institute for chidren ages9-18. I would love to have more information about the school because I have a 91/2 year old daughter who has been instersted in fashion since she was able to walk and talk. She can’t go into any clothing store with out her mixing and matching clothings. Sooooooo please send me the information.

Please Wendy we need help, my grand daughter is a plus size and we need to know where can we purchase beautiful plus size dresses that are affordable. Shop sometimes a Macy but they can get expensive, JC Penny ahas a small selection some times. Please let the world know that plus size girls like to look beautiful also. She is a size 16 1/2 and 8 years old. we loved the fashion show. I loved Brittney Sky outfit. What size is she?
Love your show each and everytime.

For those moms who worry about their “early developers” maybe you guys should try Aeropostale, JCP or online stores like Delias. Even though these brands target older teens I am sure you can find a cute tee-shirts, sweaters or plaid button down shirts for example. And pair the outfit with converse sneakers that come in an array of colors and styles that will add that fun element to any outfit.

Wendy, How did you choose the children for your tween segment? I am the PROUD Aunt of a 10 Year Old with a High Fashion Name and Attitude: Ms. Ashley Weeks. I was sooo happy to hear that Sally Miller has launched an institute for young fashionistas and I will definitely enroll my niece. If there is a process please let me know, she is excited about one day becoming a fashion designer, has already selected a name for her company and vows to put Justice out of business! (just kidding). Let me know.. and oh, “How You Doin??”

I love the clothes, very pretty.
This is a 10 year old girl writing down this and as a 10 year old girl I think that the clothes are very very pretty. I would love to wear the clothes because, wow! Thank you for the idea of bringing girls my age to the show and giving me a fashion idea.

Hi Wendy! I loved the tween show segment, however, I have a ten year old daughter (she will be 11 the day after Valentine’s Day), who is already 5″ 7, well developed, wears a size 10 shoe (sometimes 11 in sneakers)…and we have trouble finding her age-appropriate clothing! I have to be super creative with juniors clothing and accessories to keep her looking like a child should look, but it is difficult! She used to be able to wear clothes from Justice, and size 16/18 in the girls department in Macy’s but… she has grown out of that department at age 7!… It is also taking a toll on her self-esteem, (she’s always the tall girl in class, always at the back of the line, etc), and she is in her last year of elementary school…hopefully the kids will catch up next year, and hopefully the designers will catch onto the fact that not all kids are the same size!…just my two cents…btw…LOVE YOUR SHOW!!!

Brittney Sky is my niece..I was excited about seeing her on today’s show…Her outfit was the BEST …biased??? maybe just a little!

I think it’s up to the parent and to child to make a decision on what is approperate an what is not. i am the parent. and i make the money. when she is grown i hope she makes the right choice to her personality and it is tasteful. my daughter is 15 and it is hard sometimes because she is in highschool. and i want her to stay fashionable but, not to revealing.

just caught part of the tween fashion segment….OMG you gotta be kidding me. I would not put my child in that tacky azz stuff. who are you dressing these kids for halloween. kids should be kids and not made to fit some wanna be designers image of what she/he thinks is IN. Stop dressing your kids like celebrities and get your own identity…..WOW!!!!

I do not have any kids, but have a few nieces. Loved the show. My favorite outfit was the Tye-Dye skirt with the jean jacket. It is an outfit both a young lady and a young girl can wear. She was absolutely adorable.

Hi Wendy!
I was so impressed with the tween segment. I am a mother of two young boys, and have been a public school teacher for 15 years. I see how this over-sexed society is transforming our little girls, and I have a show idea for you.
Fill the studio audience with mothers and daughters ages 8 and up. Have YOUR mom open the show again (stop rolling your eyes!). Your hot topics can feature spicy news about celebs THEY know and like, your guests could be young , role model type celebs and THEIR moms, “Ask Wendy” would be questions from both the girls and the moms. You could do mom/daughter makeovers, youthful appropriate make-up application lessons, etc. Our girls need this, and they look up to you (they think I’m the cool teacher, and I’m always telling them in a nice way what clothes are appropriate and aren’t) THEY WILL LISTEN, and I bet this show will be one of your MOST WATCHED episodes!!!
(in my sexy voice) “Ha Yoo doin?”

Tween outfits
I think the outfits were cute but what do you do when your daughter is 13, 5″8′ and wears a size 10-101/2 shoe. She she cannot shop at Justice or any of the other tween stores. She can only shop in the juniors department and wears a size 7 or 9 and everything is a struggle because it all seems to be to provocative. Help!!
Love your show Wendy!

Gianna is wearing a similar outfit to what Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter wore in that one photo awhile back. I don’t see why people make such a big deal about Pitt-Jolie daughter when its actually in style. Just my opinion.

LOVED your story about dressing your son for pajama day. I agree 100% about it would be very hard dealing with a girl in today’s fashion world. I had no daughters, but have two 16 year old granddaughters and I just cring sometimes when I see the clothes they wear in the summer. They’re very pretty and shapely girls and I see stuff and think how “cute” they might look in something, but wayyyyyy too young. Our children and grandchildren are exposed to so much more these days. Of course, I’m 58 year old great granny, raised in the bible belt and am Southern Baptist, so I literally had no exposure as a child. I mean, dancing was a criminal offense. LOL
