I loved everything about her makeover. Her hair was perfect for her face and the dress will be great for a dinner out with her husband. Please fire Carson Cressley, it’s hard to watch him. He’s not funny.

The question should be why do some black people hate black hair?
Thursday February 25th, 2010 at 12:03 pm
why do we as black people hate black hair, but sometime I were hats( alot) becaue sometime we don’t take the hour it take to do my hair,(hair good for two to three days) He said do a Miss Wendy, buy a wig, and he took mine hat, and I can’t find my hat. going shopping to get a new hat love you and love your hair( all your hair) but I like hats, for me ,but I’m going to try Pentene relaxed more hair; less hats, but that was mine hat!

How you doin, Wendy!!! I wanted to make a comment in reference to Keyshanna. ‘s hair. She had such a long length of hair, why did if have to be cut and not just trimmed maybe and styled. As a culture it’s not too many black women that can grow their hair 18 inches long. The majority of black women want their hair very long so they wear weaves. I just don’t understand!! Love, love, love your show!!!

I was very shocked to see the short hair cut. It was a great look for Keyshanna. I don’t know if the dress was a good choice. She’s a mother of four, a very busy career woman. Something a little more classy and not so twenties bachlorette would have looked better. Overall she’s a beautiful woman so thumbs up!

OMG!! I want to look like Tippi when I grow up!! She is beautiful. I love her hair too. I’m trying to lose some weight and boy, if I can get like Tippi then it will be on!!
To the people who are writing about how short the lady’s hair is, well, I know from experience that if you have not trimmed or cut your hair in years then you have some serious split ends. Split ends ruins your hair and can go way up. She probably had a lot since she hadn’t cut it in years. With the new hair cut, her hair is going to grow like crazy. I hope Tippi told her to keep getting her hair trimmed and she needs to start maintaining the girls hair with trims every month. That’s how you keep long pretty hair not long ratty hair.
Good job Tippi, you are gorgeous.

Good Morning,
Although I attempted to submit my entry for the Pantene makeover, I was very happy that Keyshanna was selected. Her makeover turned out great! And, she really did look fabulous and seemed well- deserving of all her winners. I wish her and her family continue blessings.

The hair cut was too short. They should have left her hair at shoulder length which would have been easier to maintain. I noticed her husband didn’t seem too happy. Because she is a mother of four, I think the dress should have been more conservative. She did not appear to be a party type which is what the dress represented. I did not like the make over at all. However, she is a pretty women and the makeover should have been geared towards her personality or at least brought same out.

The poor kid looked stunned and so did her entire family!!! For someone who luuuvs long wigs, and has long natural hair, how could you allow that short cut? And the hairdresser is almost falling over from that heavy wig she is wearing …. and she could not stop herself from cutting this poor girl’s lovely hair ??!!… by the way, It looks nice and it will grow back eventually, but why traumatize the entire family including a large percentage of your black male/female viewers? Why couldn’t you have given her a gorgeous Oprah look-alike current hairdo, or something similar? The example she gave you guys of what she wanted (Salt N’ Peppa look of long ago which she used to spot) was long, not bobby-short. I couldn’t believe my eyes when she came out.. that was not nice at all and it wasn’t kind, and it wasn’t generous… it was downright mean….!!!.. and she was such a good sport and so was her hubby, but those spontaneous looks don’t lie…… (you made the poor little girl cry.. how did you feel…)??!! very disappointed…..!!! unbelievable!!!

Greetings,
The recent Pantene makeover winner, Keyshanna from Arizona, looks very familiar to me. My husband and I are retired from the US Army and remember a cute little girl named Keyshanna who played with our two daughters . We were stationed in Ft Drum, NY. If this is the same Keyshanna, who’s father was stationed with the 10th Mountain Div in Watertown, NY, we would love to hear from her. Please forward my email and phone # to her.
