  1. Oh, and Biggie would have been 38 not 28 today.

  2. I’m surprised at the Academy’s response because Farrah and Bea although loved and respected were not movie stars they were TV stars and should be remembered at the Emmy’s. I would think that was the reason they were not recognized. MJ was in a few movies – The Wiz, Thriller was a short movie.

Also, Lindsay should sue the superbowl commercial because they were clearly talking about her, called her an Alcoholic, man-stealer, and also implied that she was a dummy “milk-a-whaaa?”

    i like the panel idea.

  3. The “panel” idea is not working. Don’t fix what ain’t broke. Dump the “panel”….go back to audience members at the mike. The “panel” takes away from you and your talent and ability to carry the show on your own. You don’t need the panel.

  4. Wendy,

Love, Love, Love your show. Never miss an episode. In your hurried New York fashion and accent, you sometimes mispronounce names, places and the like, which is sometimes forgiveable, but at times I cringe because Black folks are known for mispronouncing just about everything. However, yesterday’s mess up could not go unmentioned by me.

You referred to Reuben Studdard, a 31 year old MAN, as being such a nice “boy.” It has to be THE MOST disrepectful error you have made. Black Men are not boys and to call someone over 30 such was not good. It goes back to slavery and segregation days when white men threw the word around so carelessly. Being that he is younger than you, you could have said “young man or gentleman.”

And, you then told him he was sweating in your hair after he sang. Don’t hug your guests if your hair and makeup are that much of an issue. Your mic needs to be killed immediately when you finish an interview or hot topics and let your private conversations be private. What you said was not right by any means, but at least only he would have heard that comment. I was so embarrassed for Reuben that I wanted to go through the floor for him after both comments, yet he remained gracious as always. I would not blame him if he never wanted to do your show again.

Your show is great and I really love it and I love your straightforward attitude, but I think you need to be a bit more aware of the feelings of your guests, audience members and viewers before saying “EVERYTHING” on your mind. Think of how it’s coming across to all of us before it comes out of your mouth.

Thank you for allowing me to post my comments on the matter.

  5. G’ morning Wendy
    HOW U DOIN?
I enjoyed another great heart warming interview. With the Young BOYZ
My response is always AWWW Wendy you did your thing after a nice interview. I enjoy your show to the FULLIEST, however I still miss you on the radio.
    HAVE A BLESSED DAY

PS I still cant get tickets to your show ….. what a sistah got to do HUH?

  6. Hey you really have done a lot of good things 4 people. continue to respect and love people. By the way, I have not heard you mention GOD. There is no such thing as LUCK which I have heard you say many times. He is the only one responsible for your success. Monique never thanked GOD. CoolD.

  7. Hey Wendy I am so glad that you had the “big man” on. Judging by the songs that I have heard, that CD is the bomb. But, HIS backup singer on the right is all that and and more. Wendy I met you many moons ago when you had a breast awareness event in the City with DJ Kev. I asked you what the ribbon meant and we had a nice conversation. You had your version of the “Dating Game,” and chose me as the bachelor. It actually aired on TV and I was suppose to receive a call from Skeletor and receive a dinner with the girl I selected(wasn’t interested you were more interesting). I made several calls to the radio station because I took you at your word because you were so honest and not like the radio personality. Maybe I will get tickets to your show. Congradulations! Anyway I would like to meet a few of your friends just because they are beautiful. They are Queen Latifah, Lisa Leslie, America Ferrera, Kisa Fitzgerald(PUBLICIST) and the above mentioned. I am no one special except Very tall child of God. Well thought I would ask. That should make us even. LOL. No I am dead serious. COOL

  9. The comment about Europeans being more classier than American. If you feel that way why the hell are you watching an American show. Why did you care so much to come on the blog and write the comment in horrible english. You could of just turned the channel to an European show and moved on.

  10. WENDY, I DIDNT GET TO WATCH THE SHOW EARLIER, BUT I WILL WATCH IT TONIGHT AT 11PM. I AM SURE THIS IS A NEW ONE. AND NOT A RE-RUN. THEY ARE COMING TO OFTEN RIGHT NOW. I THOUGHT IT SHOULD JUST BE AROUND HOLIDAYS WHEN YOU RUN THEM. ANYWAY I STILL LOVE YA! HOW UR DOIN?

  11. U know Wendy, im a firm believer of it’s not what you say it’s how you say it!!!! Perhaps you should go back and look at your interview with Mr. Ruben Studdard and tell us what you think? or like you always ask how you doing? The comment about his sweat messing up your wig was just rude, and not losing that much weight was an insult. You owe Mr. Ruben Studdard and apology because needless to say losing 100 pounds for any human being is successful.

    LUV YOU WENDY!!!

  12. I love it Wendy! I love your show, I try to see it everyday. How u doin…..for the haters, stop viewing if you are not a fan!

  13. Wendy,

Bro. Ruben is amazing in his twofold determination for personal growth. His evolution into physical change isn’t an easy road but his accomplishment justifiably must be commended.

In addition, his success shows in happiness in his smile, not only for his growing career but his lovely family bond.

Wishing him aN UPWARD spiral on continuum. AFI

  14. THIS IS A COMMENT ABOUT THE MOVIE, “THE HURT LOCKER”. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE “PEOPLE” MAGAZINE IS SO POPULAR, BUT I GUESS EVERYONE JUST LOOKS AT THE PICTURES, BECAUSE, WENDY, I BELIEVE IT WAS PEOPLE MAGAZINE THAT THAT HAD A STORY WHERE FIRST LADY MICHELE OBAMA SAID “THE HURT LOCKER” WAS HER FAVORITE MOVIE. THAT IS ONE OF THE REASONS I WATCHED AND LOVED IT. BUT IT IS NOT JUST YOU, EVERY INTERVIEW SHOW, INCLUDING “THE VIEW”, HAD NOT SEEN IT.

  15. I was shocked when Wendy could not pronounce Miss Gabourey Sidibe’s name. Where’ Miss William’s staff and preparation? I think that it is a horrible insult to Africans in general and Miss Garbourey in particular.

  16. How you doin? Ms. Wendy I am such a fan. I just have to thank you because you give off such a good positive energy. Watching you makes me know that I’m on the right path and I’m doing the right thing. P.S. I can’t wait until you have Mary J. Blige on the show.

  17. oh upset with you , you put everyone in such low class, i m so happy not to be american, and european people are so much classy than you. it this what you want , and europa will love normal people without wiggs. sorry about muy english , but at least we have sence of taste…… did you ask your self , who needs your comments, it is very low. congratulation to make money that way, jens

  18. Wendy. The panel concept is a good idea, but here’s the problem. You love to talk, and a take charge kinda gal. So someone else in the diva spotlight (that ain’t gettin interviewed) gotta go after 20 seconds. You are a talker so the panel idea might not work so well. Love the idea.

  19. Wendy, you have to be mindful your mic is on when you make comments to guests. We all heard you say to Ruben Studdard “Your sweat is messing up my wig.” We all know those stage lights are hot.

  20. I was watching the show today and saw Wendy talking about making her own wigs, I love it. I too have my own little project that I do…I make my own clip in extensions, which I love. You can put them in at morning and take them out at night, and you can create so many hairstyles, always keeping a natural part. Keep doing what your doing Wendy!!
