  1. Hi Wendy – how U doin?
I agree with Melissa, SJP’s bun was too big, but why isn’t anyone talking about her bad spray-on tan. She looked just a little orange to me.

Thanks for being so upbeat all the time -
    great show -
    Carolyn

  2. Dear Wendy, you bring the coolest entertainment. And your fashion the best too.
But, what inspires me the most about you is the fact that you can give good resolutions to your audience when they ask you. I think your life is a real trophy for others to see. Also speaking of inspirations. I’m hoping that you would do me a favor and get Taraji P. Henson on; because she is some grand inspiration; she comes from Chocolate City–Washington, D.C. Like me. She grad. from Howard univ. in d.c. She makes hard work look easy. Her personality lights up a screen and brings greatness in everything she wants to do.

I Love to chat Wendy, stay cool as you are girl and as always How U Doing!!!

    Your fan
    Ms. Johnna Long

  3. Wendy I am a beautiful black curvacious woman. I need to say that I think Monique speech was a little arrogant. To me she came off like she didn’t have any competition at the oscars. Come on she went against Meryl Streep a Vet in the game and wonder actress. I do agree Gabby Sidibe is too big to be so young.

  4. Wendy to come to your defense with some of the simple folk who watch apparently just don’t get it, I don’t find that you were wrong in describing Miley Cyrus lord her posture was bad what does tripping have to do with posing for a picture if she is standing still NEXT, In regards to Gaboury’s dress I think she looked great and I think you said that you were responding to her comment about the money shot pay attentioin viewers and get it right.

  5. Hi Wendy…yesterday I left a comment about MoNique’s comment and implied your view on her comment to” forgot whats popular in order to do whats right” was wrong…well Wendy I stand corrected you we’re right and I was wrong. Who am I to question the Queen of all media. Alright!

  6. Hi Wendy,

I am very hurt that you would make fun of Gabby. Her dress was really nice and she looked great. I think it was poor taste that you shoved her photo off as to indicate something negative. I would think as an African American female who claims to be “Big Girl Proud” you would have been a bit more tasteful in what you said and in your action. Criticism of African American women have always been heighten and what gives you the right to be down right cruel to her. What define beauty? What you did only shows that you are judgemental and cruel. How dare you display that. I honestly believe she should have won the Oscar!

In fact I believe you should apologize to her for being cruel. It is bad enough that being a big woman in society you get judge but what makes it worse is that as a woman of color we need to support and encourage. There was nothing wrong with her dress. I am very disappointed and would think that you would some better class

  7. Hi Wendy – I was a little upset when you and Melissa Rivers were talking about Miley Cyrus dress and her posture. I didn’t watch the awards, but saw the dress while reading an article and totally loved it. The posture could of been from not wanting to fall on the dress, and being “nervous,” which she did mention.

I don’t think she picked it all herself. Her mom and dad probably had some input into the dress. It was very mature for her age, and was way, way better than Zoe Saldana dress. Now, that was a HOT MESS!

My parents who are in there late 50′s (but look way younger) even thought Miley’s dress along with GABOUREY ‘Gabby’ SIDIBE dress was very pretty. They certainly looked way, way better than some of the stuff young people try to wear to a place like the Oscars.

I mean some of the clothing you wear on the show I do not like, but I would never post anything bad, because that is what choose to wear, so can you please layoff on the criticism of young people like Miley until they are over 21. Being a teen is not EASY these days, and no I am not a teenage, but until that phase.

  8. Wendy , shouts out to you and all the Real Jersey Fly Girls. I think your show is televisions bigges hit. Keep up the great work MA..

  9. Hi Wendy. We love your show. The “Ask Wendy” portion of the show is greeeaaaaattttt — you have so much wisdom.. your advice always makes me go.. hmmmmm, thats wise.

    Anyways continued sucess to ya!

  10. Wendy, I have been in Japan for the past week and had to catch up on all of the shows from last week. Your wardrobe was on point all week and I love love love the dress you wore today. I did not watch the Oscars but I acutally liked SJP’s dress. I get tired of seeing her old looking legs. I thought she looked regal but the hair was a mess.

I don’t know what Mariah was thinking. She just had a dress on. It did nothing for her and it was not cute.

  11. wendy WENDY I LOVE YOUR SHOW
ANY WHO I NEVER SEEN THIS BUT ONE OF YOUR TT”S IS LOOKIN BIGGER THEN THE OTHER ONE …BUT STILL LOVE U

  12. Wendy,

I am a HUGE fan of Jennifer Lopez but when I saw her last night my first reaction was “Why is she wearing bubble wrap?” I also questioned why the front of her hair was scraggally (if there is such a word) until you explained that when hair is pulled back that tight it breaks in the front on top. But, hey, if Melissa Rivers said it was classic Hollywood then I must have missed something.

If only I looked as good in bubble wrap! ; )

How U doin’? Friend in my head, Jenna

  13. Wendy,

I was really disappointed when you made fun of Gabourey Sidibe’s size. After commenting on her dress, you pantomimed that were straining to shove away a hefty object when you were sending away her split-screen. In view of the character she played, who was treated atrociously in part because of her size, making fun of Gabourey’s size was at the very least extremely inconsiderate, if not just plain cruel. I thought you knew better than that.

  14. How You Doing?….I loved the Oscars this year!!! First time ever I was entertained enough throughout the entire program without their having to be a Beyonce performance. Fashion was simple no over the top or completely original pieces. The nominees in all categories had me wondering why we never see most of these pictures before the Academy puts the spotlight on them by giving them a Oscar. Such great films like Logorama & Prudence… Wendy keep up the great work…

  15. Hello Wendy, I watch your show. I love it!! ..I want to Know, What’s the Lil’Kim
Song that you are refering to ….When you say….You’re at the club…and
it comes on …..and you immediately have to break out in Dance on the floor..???

    Thank you, if you respond
    sincerely, Darnelle

  16. Wendy,
Huge fan of the show! Well about the Oscars last night. They all dressed to there atire, none of them were to flashy or gross looking, but as for Miley dear you should see a doctor about that hunch in your back. Although i did love Miley’s hair, thats what i think about when you go to the Oscars, is stars being all dolled up, not the wet look with frizz hanging every where (cough cough) S.J.P. Meryl Streep looked fantastic in the white dress, a pure bread of her own. The men were studly to the key. Love you Wendy! Kisses.

  17. I AGREE WITH MELISA..I ACTUALLY LOVE S.J.P. DRESS BUT SHE JUST ISNT BUSTY ENUFF 4 D DRESS.. WAS IT JUST ME OR DIDNT IT SEEM LIKE EVERYTIME SHE MOVED D DRESS WAS A STEP BEHIND..ALMOST ROBOTIC..LIKE ROBOCOP LOL ALL IN ALL I ACTUALLY ENJOYED THE FASHIONS AT D OSCARS THIS YR.NOTE GOTTA LOVED MY BX HOMEGIRL J-LOs DRESS..VERY CONTEMPORARY YET STILL SOMEWHAT KLASSY! E.ZAYAS!

  18. Wendy,
Number 1, you go girl!! We met before at Salon Santa Cruz where Steve used to do your hair. Anyway, did you notice when they when doing there thing about Actors we have lost this year, they didn’t say ANYTHING about Farah Fawcett??? I thought that was terrible!! i mean, she died the same day as Michael Jackson, and she was great. I NEED to know why she wasn’t mentioned!! Thanks, oh, and I watch everyday, you’re the BEST!!!!! KISSES!!!

  19. I think that Monique, and queen Latifah really rocked it. But my God WHAT WAS MILEY CYRUS THINKING? Did she even look in the mirrow before leaving home? Why do these kids feel they know what’s appropriate for such an occasion. She seriously needs some schooling where her attire is concerned. I think she also needs to have some respect where moving her new boyfriend in is concerned, she is still a child and needs to act like one despite having her own income. Her parents should have let her leave so she can see that life as an adult is not a bed of roses and that a man does’nt just want a girl with money and pretty looks. She must be able to cook a proper meal for him among other things. No decent man wants to live on junk food all his life.

  20. Hi Wendy How U Doin? My comment is on MoNique… I think her comment in her speech about her husband Sydney telling her to forgo whats popular in order to do whats right had nothing to do with her pre oscar tour I think it was geared more toward the role she played (hard, nasty,”B”) as opposed to a sterotypical role. P.S. if you hadn’t Moooood her on the radio you could’ve asked her LOL. Just kiddin You don’t need her you have all of us How U doin?… Alright!
