i would love to see D’Angelo on the show, a nice talk. i understand hes put on some weight, but hes still an artist i like. like when he sings anything from the Sam Cooke catalog. i really like em.

i enjoy the Wendy Show and this website also. couldnt help but react to the comment about her ole radio gig. people make it sound like she was quite a pistol, or acid tongue. and say shes watered down now on tv, moreso. even N. Cole said Wendy was soften for tv. hmm.

i figure on the radio, like on the telephone, people can feel free and safe to say more exacting what they like to say. but in person its more challenging, because you’re distracted by the other person’s appearance and body language. just like that nailfile thing the other day,people really look at gestures and they analyze them and get into a mood about you. while its mostly visual, the spoken words are almost in the background in a sense.

if Wendy was a big radio personality, then i know this is a whole different world, the visual. just like, in comparison, the old-school r&b music SOUNDED so emotional, but the “new” r&b “videos” became more important than that audio-sound. in other words, they started make a bigger deal outta how everything LOOKS in video and film, as important or more important than sound. i saw it as the new video age, when they started in the 1980s. (that Johnson makeup and Flory Robinson cosmetics was off the chain) everybody had or wanted that look, lol.

i feel i see and understand the saucy personality of WendyShow. and this is exactly why it knocks me out when she makes her entrance and its like bubblin brown sugar entertainment. the northern-sophisticated version of sweet georgiabrown, with the turn, the twirl, the shimmy, the swivel, or, whatever ever it is that she feels and shares. its “softened” as Natalie Cole said it. its a natural thing, a natural expression of celebration, Wendy’s physical symbol of recognition. that Wendy Show energy and glamour… and spice, lol, caint forget the spice, lol lol.

i could imagine, yeah, a more brash personality on the radio, yeah, yeah, like the Limbah show if its still on. its kinda like radio can be brashy or trashy, but tv is a lot softer, lol, which i think is funny, lol. like working for a large company like the government. if a radio personality goes onto television, i imagine its a lot of toning down things. never heard Wendy on the radio myself, and not tryna compare her to Rush Limbah (sp) but just exagerrated example maybe to make a point. its a “visual” thing now for the ole radio personality? or for the “new” tv variety-talk show personality, wow.

Wendy, how you doin!! I agree with the blogger who said we need you back on the radio because there you were ruthless and fearless!! On t.v. I know you have we have to water it down but you’ve never been known to have so many celebrity friends and it takes away from who Wendy is. Wendy will always be Queen of ALL Media!!! By the way……sidebar….I don’t see those haters Ms. Jones or Angie Martinez on Fox syndicated……..how they doin’!!! Eat their hearts out……..Shout out to Artie, Trev Hollywood and Charlymaign………I support you regardless but I miss all the sound effects from the show, especially the surprise and sad sounds.

Wendy…I love your show. You are such a fearless woman! I am thrilled that you aren’t afraid to give the Obama’s props…as I think some celebrities are. I think it’s awesome with the Obamas facing so many obstacles at this time. I love Michelle and think she is smart and beautiful! Michelle has it going on…A sister First Lady and a sister First Grandma! HOW YOU DOING !

Hi Wendy,
I love your show and watch it everyday! I missed you last week. Like Andy would say the Jackhole that’s talking bad about you need to go back to school and learn english. Like I said I hardly ever miss a show and I don’t remember you saying anything negative about Anita Baker. What a waste of oxygen, he or she should volunteer and get a life.
