  4. Hey Wendy, Hi You Doing?

I just wanted to let you know that 3 of my friends and I took Monday March 1, 2010 off from work and were very excited to come to the taping for your 1:30pm show. I followed all of the instructions on the confirmation email, and we were there a half hour before the time we were suppose to be there, just to be turned away and told we could try again another day because they were full. That is totally crazy. We might not be tv stars, but we are still people with every day busy schedules as well. We came from out of town and lost a days work, gas, tolls and parking. To say the least, we were not happy campers. To top it off, as we stood in line for an hour, right before we were denied entry, one of your male staff came out and scoped the line and pulled the lightest thing with the shortest skirt on out of line, that was behind us, might I add, and pulled her and her guest in….and then we were told that, they just filled the last 2 seats. We have never felt so degraded and picked over in our lives. I am sure that the 30 or more people that were turned away weren’t happy as well, being as though they were confirmed for the show.

What seemed to have happened was that people who just attended the prior 10:30am taping were let in, and or your staff overbooked the show, which was totally unfair to the people who were already confirmed for the 1:30pm show. I know your audience members mean a lot to you, because without them, you wouldn’t have a show, so I wanted to reach out to you and let you know what is going on behind the scenes, knowing you probably weren’t aware of it. From what I see of you, I know that you would not be happy to know that you had audience members travel from out of town to support you to be inconvenienced like that. I really hopes this reaches you, because I have sent a couple of emails to your staff but have not heard back from anybody. I hope to hear back from you or your staff regarding this disheartening and disappointing experience.

  5. Hi Wendy I don’t always watch your show but TODAY I did. Before Ms. Vivica came on I said to my hair dresser what is up with Wendy’s wig look on the right side back it’s sticking up and out she did not do a photo check before she came out. We laughed about it because we know how you are with those wigs.

  6. Hi Wendy,

I love your show. I would like you to talk about the heart attack of legendary rapper Guru of the group Gang Starr. Please cover this topic and send our love and prayers to him and his family. You love real hip hop as much as I do.

    Thank you,
    T.

  7. Hi Wendy,

If you locate Michael Bond, the son of Julian Bond, in Atlanta, he can tell you what Freaknik really was. He was one of the orginal organizers!

  10. Why is this show so ghetto??

  11. I am sending this email for my almost 80 year old mother who has raised 4 children (1 now deceased). One thing I can truly say about my mother is that she taught all four of her children to be independent and self-reliant. She always told us that we always needed to know who we are and know what we each were and are capable of doing. This coming from a mother who did not have a high school diploma. Truly her experience without this diploma, made her believe more than anything else that education was the key to success. She swore to anyone and everyone that her fourchildren would graduate from high school amd yes, we all did.. I, myself, hold a doctorate degree and teach in an alternative school in Georgia. My other two siblings are hard workings as well. I must also include that all my nieces and nephews have some sort of post secondary education training, licensing, and certifications. ,

I like you have the same relation with my mother and although at times she may get on my last nerve, I has love her very much and know for the most part she is always right. My mother hipped me to watching you from your radio days, since she lives in Jersey City. My birth town and home for my first 38 years of life. My mother would be over-whelmed to do this. I have been looking for tickets for your show for months for the month of April because I will be on school vacation and finally when your schedule is up, I will be back at work. However, my brother and sister who still live in New Jersey would be able to bring her. Thanks for reading this letter. I am home after having leg surgery so I am not playing hooky from work. Love your show.
