Wendy Show Remix: SlimJim…We Got a Problem
The legendary Patti LaBelle stopped by and she’s a big Wendy fan.
Lauren Conrad gave us her best “how you doin’?”
Chandra Wilson got all dressed up and Kenan Thompson kept us laughing.
These are our some of our favorite moments!

Hi Wendy
I had commented a few weeks ago that it would be great to see Patti on your show and behold it happens. I just adore Patti and to see the two of you together was quite a treat. A lot of people don’t know that Dr. Labelle has been the recipient of several honorary doctorates. I was fortunate to be a part of the conferral of one in Alabama in 2007. As her Philly home girl it was a pure thrill and I have pictures to cherish (she’ll remember me although I’m no longer at that institution too much DRAMA). A great show and the two of you are just real folk and very refreshing. Looking forward to seeing Patti back with you soon.

Miss Wendy, I have to say you made my day with Miss Patti being on your show. The both of you together… I was just beside myself. Miss Patti is like my 2nd mother and you are like a big sister. (In my head of course:) My husband asked my little cousin once why she loved me, and she said because her heart glows. That’s how I feel about you and Miss Patti, it’s like I can see your hearts glowing. You two are so genuine, I love you both. People can say what they will about you Miss Wendy but you keep doing what you do and don’t ever stop being you. “How you doing!!!”

how you dooin’ wendy – loved the Patti interview, but have to say, you both seemed a bit rushed. I really think you should have suspended the Ask Wendy portion to allow the FULL hour for Patti. For icons like Patti, Smokey, Diane C etc, you should consider that… talking & interviewing icon like these deserves our full attention. thxs

Wendy,
I truly enjoyed the time we had with Patti LaBelle. At times I look at her ‘old’ b/w photo I sent to you [ FANS section] and pull out her early career 45RPM’s and blast them loud and clear.and move onward enjoying her solo career, unparalleled artistry. She is truly a jewel ….highly polished.
Her ‘down-to-earth’ persona I can relate to inasmuch as we’re only a few years apart. But, to have a car and not drive it may be relaxing for her, but I beg to differ there.[ I can't wait to go TOPLESS in my MIATA every summer. Nothing like controlling the throttle, shifting gears with the rag down.]
This BABY BOOMER partied to Patti’s songs and drives like I’m still 18.with the volume pumped up. This songstress energizes me and feels the sky’s the limit in fashion. She’s so blessed with talent and touches us all.
Friday’s show…..to be brief, your color ensemble [ eyes and clothes ] was
quite enhancing and becoming. …suited you very well. Afi

Wendy, Miss Patti surpised me by handing me the microphone on the 12th of feb. in St. Louis at the Fox and letting me tell the story of how in 1988′s fall concert she sang “There’s Winner in You” to me an anorexic and I got help because I knew she cared I am a gifted counselor and thanks to her I have healed many people with counseling and stones for cancer, selfesteem, telling them where to get help for abuses what books to read to help them find their ways when lost. All I ever wanted in life was to thank her and she let me do it. I am so happy she noted on your show she would find the right man like I said to her. She deserves someone who sees who and what she is about as you are about. You bother a woment the give from the heart to the men you have loved and you both share your successes money, love, and friends with your lovers. May God watch over your both and send Miss Patti the man I saw that is her equal and not a tagalong wanting her to give to him. I want him to give to her as she gives to all of us fans and to all of her friends.
She is indeed God’s Gift To Us All. Bless You Wendy for your love you give your fans and guests. Best Linda Humphries Metaphysican, Psychic, Teacher and Healer and Photographer and Writer.

Hi Wendy,
I watch your show as much as humanly possible. I’m a busy Grammy, going on, well let’s say, I’m a bit over 50 years, and holding. Listen, I haven’t spent much of my life doing things for myself. But that’s for another day.
Oh, just to let you know, I was out when Patty LaBelle appeared, but I did tape the show. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A couple of weeks prior, I’d just noted to my daughter that I had’nt seen Patty in a while… Low and behold, she was scheduled on your show. Very nice. It was hard to hold back the tears when she was singing. I tried to play it back the second time, but, was unable to hear it through…. very moving. She is one of the very great. (I have been told that I sing nicely, but I am sure nothing like Ms. LaBelle…. She is one to be reckoned with…..) Just wanted to mention how I enjoyed seeing her….
In conjunction with that, I feel that you would be the one who might be able to direct me regarding my query. One of my daughters has a potential to become an extremely good children’s book author. However, I have no ideal as to how to direct her in this endeavor (relative to grants and/or publishers). It would be such a waste if she is not given the opportunity to express her skills. She has some great ideals for stories.
Is it possible for you to give me some directions, so that I can help to get started.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I know that you are busy. But it would be a delight to hear from you.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Carrie

Wendy,
Miss on the radio at 2:00 pm! About Simon Cowell not walking on the street side of the sidewalk, remember that he is British and the side he is walking on in his country would be the street side. My husband is Jamaican and he does the same thing as Simon Cowell and he had to remind me in his country that would be the street side for him. Well, I kindly told him that he is in America now and he has got to adjust.

Dear Wendy:
I know you must give up your Slim Jims, but just to let you know your Slim Jim episode when you lit the Slim Jim and cooked them a little before eating was part of a wonderful Christmas experience for my family. I like to organize a game on the night of our family gift exchange so that we aren’t just tearing through gifts and not enjoying each others company and blessings. After our game, I passed out Slim Jims to everyone and then passed out lighters to the adults. It was a riot! Most of them have tried and liked Slim Jims, but everyone had a blast cooking them, eating them, and just laughing together at the whole thing! It was wonderful Wendy. As always, you add humor and blessings to my life!

I love the show with Ms. Patti Labelle her motherly advice is much needed for the young mother of this world. Being a seasoned women myself, and being a mother&grandmother in my 50′s you need to tell it like it is when it come to being a parent and carrying yourself like a lady should. My suggestion for a show is you need a panel of seasoned, wiser mother to help the younger ones along. Let’s keep it real with Ms. Patti is a good title for the show? How you doin?
