Hi Wendy, I was watching your show this morning in Detroit and you mentioned Simon walking on the inside of the sidewalk with his girlfriend/fiance. The main reason chilvarous men started walking on the outside of the sidewalk is because during the 16th century in England, people tossed the contents of their chamber pots (urinals) out of upper-story windows onto the streets. They also sometimes would toss out their garbage in the same manner.

I absolutely love your show, Wendy! Keep up the wonderful work!

Your right Wendy. Who wants to see skin and bones walking down the run way. How are you supposed imagine what clothes look like when a toothpick is wearing it. Its not realistic. I was hoping that things would have changed in the fashion industry when Tyra Banks had her show America's Top Model, being that Tyra's body image is more realistic. There needs to be a change. For the health of some these models who may be struggling to stay thin. Beauty is skin deep, it is about whats within. But it would be nice to see average size models in magazines and on the runways. In my opinion my idea of average would be about 5' 7" size 10 or 12, toned body.

iI tink it's messed up how hollywood producers are bias aginst females who arent the size of a bundle of number 2 pencils. In my opinion i think a plus size girl is just as better, i LOVE a big or thick female with a great curvey shap. im what you would calla BBW fan. Wendy i think 1day for your show you shoul have a model of gorgeous plus size females so i can decide wich one i want to take out for myself. or you could just do a show about gorgeous plus size females, either way im still happy. -BIG UPS TO WENDY FOR HAVING A GREAT SHOW

The most important thing is to be healthy, regardless of your weight. A woman that is a size 2 can be less healthy than a woman that is a size 12, it is possible. So my point is be healthy and be happy.

Living in Las Vegas as a plus sized African American entertainer I can definitely relate to how the industry turns it's nose up at full figured women. This is why I normally perform overseas where people come to see me perform for my talent and not how I look which is definitely the case here in Vegas. They can't believe that I like to perform songs by Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas. Like I'm too old and fat to do this. I may be big but I'm still sexy and wear fabulous costumes that are revealing but tasteful and Asia loves me!

i disagree with the previous comment that someone made. it's not that people are trying to bring down "the Skinny" while up lifting the big girls. we are just stating fact, people are quicker to down grade larger women then smaller women because like it or not big figures are not socially accepted. i applaude the up roar for larger ladies cause its about damn time !!! :)

On your website there is a statement about leave the sample size at O and allow skinny girls to love themselves too. I dont think anyone is trying to take anything away from skinny girls I feel that ALL WOMEN of ALL sizes need to be embraced. Especially when it comes to fashion. I work in retail and know for a fact that ALL women want to be fashionable, but it seems like designers forget that, Is it that its cheaper to design for 0s... you know less fabric?!?.Remember when Cindy Crawford and Tyra modeled... they were average. Last weeks Project Runway was disturbing because the designers had to design for REAL women and almost ALL of them had issues. And verbalized it saying that they are not use to designing for any size outsize of 0-2. Not hating on skinny girls but what about the rest of us above size 2, the 6s 10s etc. They all shop and should be included in fashion.

I get what you're saying, and indeed there are girls that are naturally skinny, however: are those enough to fill the industry? Cause not all skinny girls are interested/able to get into modeling.

So you'll have pretty girls who're not naturally skinny starving themselves to fit the sample size that comes naturally to only so few. On top of that practically every new generation gets taller than the last one. I'm taller than my mom. Doesn't logic then naturally follow that my feet, hips and shoulders are bigger too? At 6ft / 140lbs / shoe size 9 1/2, I'm definately not a size 0, but I don't want to lose more weight either cause that makes me look seriously ill. My cheek, jaw and collarbone would stick out ugly. How much longer can size 0 be maintained without endangering that very impressionable group of young girls trying to make it?

Big is beautiful but the reality is there is not enough full figured women representing us in a taste full manor, instead of saying if skinny girls do it we can do it too we should be setting the bar for skinny women. We as full figured women have to except that that is what we are and accommodate our size with our clothing. We can not wear what skinny girls are wearing unless you can afford a good taylor and some spanx
