I think it’s unfair the pressure society puts on women to be married. Kim seems satisfied right now just being a career woman in a happy relationship, let it stand at that. Who cares if they get married or not, she is doing her thing and so is he. I for one feel her pain. For a woman, it doesn’t matter what else you accomplish people will always ask “why ain’t you married yet”. Just try congratulating me on my present success or on overcoming whatever obstacles to success popped up at the last minute. It’s like, I could develop the cure for cancer and because I’m a female, after all the accolades, someone would say, “that’s why she ain’t got no husband”, as if it’s a statement of failure on my part. What if I just ain’t ready for no damn husband. What if I want to be celebrated for being Stephanie, instead of Stephanie and… There is more to me that an empty ring finger. I don’t even see it until someone else points it out like nothing else matters. I think that at a certain point in my life, when I had the chance to say yes I would have only been doing it because so many people around me made it seem like unless I had gotten married, I hadn’t done anything at all. I dont feel that way about myself, and Kim Kardashian shouldn’t, either. She could easily be just another pretty face, another sports star’s pretty girlfriend or wife, but she is producing her own show and being Mzzzzzz Business woman. I’m so proud of her for not letting her good looks seal her fate. I say don’t get married until YOU know it’s right, whether he asks or not, especially since you’ve made that mistake before. Your ultimate duty in life is to contribute to the world around you in a way that uplifts God and to be happy doing it. It looks to me like you are handling that with grace and style.

It’s time to put away your Kim doll. Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush will not be getting married. She just brought a new house and her career is in California. When they broke-up last year, on her show her mother told “You can’t put a man over your career”. Look like Kim took her advice. Plus I don’t think Reggie will be leaving the Saints any time soon to move to California. Just sayin
