Did Wendy really go whoopass?

Wendy loves her magazines — Life & Style, Us Weekly, People, Hip Hop Weekly, the National Enquirer — she loves them all.

Well the National Enquirer wrote a story about Wendy in this week’s issue and Wendy had to set the record straight.

  1. Okay hold up one minute check it out………..for all ya’ll hating on Mrs. Wendy……go hide up under the rock you crawled out from and suck ya thumb. I LOVE the show and thank goodness for Wendy cause without her my ten’o clock spot would be dull. Im always watching and I was even watching when I went into labor and then again when I actually gave birth thanks to BET who airs the show at 11pm and 7am where Im from. If you dont like it then step off but as for me and the rest of the people in the world we will continue to watch >>>>>>HOW YOU DOIN????????

  2. Wendy,
All I can say is that I wish that I had some unique talent to work for your show,
What hard work and fun your staff must have.
Sad to read about Ugly Betty getting cancelled, Maybe if all the Betty fans write
to A.B.C.they will change there minds or hopefully another network would take show.
Kind of realized that when Kevin Federline got so heavy it was a call for help.
Nice to know that the loser program helped him and your kind words of support
must mean a lot to him.Hopefully he will leave his rappin to Ghostface and become
a actor.Since he is a great dancer could see him as a new Patrick Swayze type
actor. That would get him out his depression and make his family real proud of him.
Hopefully you will have him on this amazing show.

  3. Dear Wendy,
how you doin i love you show and i love hot topics the gust on your show are crazy im your biggest fan i want to be just like you

  4. In response to the person that suggested that Wendy let go of the Ask Wendy portion of the show..If you don’t agree with the manner in which Wendy answers the questions then why don’t you just choose to not watch the program!! to Wendy you keep up the good work, your show is extremely refreshing!!!

  5. Hi Wendy. How you doin’ I was watching your thursday evening show here in florida and ask wendy came on and you responded to a woman who stated that she was fired from her job by a friend via text message, well the same thing happened to me the advice you gave that woman was wonderful and my ears immediately tuned in I felt as if you were talking to me. Thanks girl for the advice I will surely put it to good use. I am currently in a new job with more money and a better position I would like to rub her face in it but I will take your advice and just keep it moving. Keep up the good work Thanks Robyn

  6. ok let’s see you get up there and do a full one hour talk show and see if you can do it better! Don’t hate sweetie it isn’t a good look. Wendy you keep up the good work, you are an inspiration and a true delight to watch!! wipe my teeth and HOW YOU DOIN!! love from the South!!

  7. Love it!

  8. Wendy,
We love you here in the ATL but can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, get RID OF KIM K? She’s ok but she takes away from what should be our focus YOU.

You are the star with ACTUAL TALENT!

    WE LOVE YOU WENDY!!!!!!

  9. I love the Ask Wendy portion of the show, but I’m getting a bit tired of the ‘how do I do this with my teen or how do I do that with my adult child’. Not to say the answers aren’t spot on from Wendy, but after personally experiencing the Ask Wendy at a show I attended, there are far better questions that folks have to ask than the same old, same old. Come on guys, get out of the rut your in and get some better Ask Wendy’s!

  10. i like wendy’s show..she is so funny..

  11. …DONE AND DONE…that was cute.

  12. IMO the person who commented on Thurs 1/28 @ 12:16pm is 100% wrong. I love the Ask Wendy portion. I actually enjoyed the show where Wendy dedicated the entire hour to Ask Wendy. Would like to see more please!! She’s actually more entertaining than most of her guests & the audience is completely “messy” (in a good way) & hilarious.

  13. As a Wendy fan, I beg to differ! She does a hella job giving advice on the spot. She fumbles naturally anyway (which I love). She’s a hot mess and I wouldn’t change Ask Wendy. She gives her opinion on the situation, it’s up to the person to take it or leave it.

  14. 90% of the questions she can’t answer? What show are you watching? She answers the questions most of the time and for the most part she’s on point with her answers. The stumbling sometimes may be due to the fact that she doesn’t want throw peeps under the bus and make harsh judgements. I like the ask Wendy Segments

  15. For whomever left the comment on Thursday January 28th at 12:16 pm, u should get your facts straight because Wendy does answer the questions she is presented. You obviously have no love for Wendy and you need to shove your comment up the river because unlike Mo’nique, Wendy gets the juicy topics brought to the forefront that everyone wants to know. She did study Communications in College so up yours.

  16. I’m not a fan of ask Wendy either! However I love got topics lol, and the guest are getting much better!

  17. Well, Oprah told us years ago that the tabloids don’t always print the truth. Just think of how many stories you relayed on “hot topics” that may not be true either. I don’t think any of them do fact-checking anymore. Good luck with that.

  18. I totally disagree. I love Wendy’s answers. They are from the heart. My daughter asked a question on today’s show and we liked her answer. When watching at home, we look forward to the Ask Wendy segment.

  19. Now u know that these magazines are full of – , so this should tell u something about them when u read about other people, so stop spreading qossip,or making people on ur show interested in other people business. Which most of the time untrue. Thank You.

  20. Ask Wendy segment should be tossed! More then 90% of the questions she can’t answer. Or let her see the question before hand so she just doen’t stand their fumbling for some kind of answer.
