  3. This is the best Talk Show on Bet. When I lived in Newark, NJ. I always like you on radio and now that you are on BET I still able to enjoy your laughter. You are real person inside and out. I love you, Wendy. Your like Auntie in my head and you are Great Role Model. When you cry. I feel your emotions and when laugh. I fall out my seat. The ways thing are today. You lift people up and also myself. Your Best Wendy. Wendy Williams Show is next best thing to Oprah.

  4. I watch your show everyday.. I love the way you how fun you are… Answering peoples questions.. I love your wedding ring its beautiful.. I live in Pocatello,Idaho, personally its the best calm show in the morning.. Your show is on at 3pm where I live… By the way- How you doing? :)

  5. I think that Chris Brown is a great person and it was just a misunderstanding about him and Rihanna. I personally think that she was too dramatic about the situation.
When he appeared on your show with his new song I thought that it was dedicated to Rihanna because of how the girl in the video wore her hair

  6. ms.carroll is a woderfull actress.

  7. I’m a 53 year writer. I’ve written my first children’s book 2009. ” May I Have An Alphabet for Just One Day?” Because I don’t have a lot of money, and was a self publisher, I haven’t receive much exposure. I’ve been living in Columbus Ga. for 24 years. I grew up in Newark, New Jersey. My mom is living in East Orange, New Jersey, so I visit often. Anyway, I would love to appear on your show, because I feel being on your show will help my new career off the ground. I love to write for children, and I would love to share my views with other writers who may think it’s to late in their lives to start a new career.

  8. As I have not read all of the comments, because I didn’t want to taint what I am to say, I realize that everyone has his/her own opinion. However, when you are forming your words to give your opinion, remember to think first of the things you have done that may not have been in good taste; think first of the feelings of those in the spotlight who don’t want that spotlight within their homes; think first of your children, mother, father, sister, brother who may end up in the same predicament.

Chris is a great individual; a great son, nephew, cousin, friend, person! Yes, I know him personally but I am not personable with him. I know his mother and his auntie and his uncle and his cousins. I know some of his friends. He gives and gives and has been giving since he was a child. Things happen for a reason and who knows the reason for this wrench in his game. But, if only YOU could step into his shoes for a day and live as he must, maybe you would understand the depths of his bad decisions, his good decisions, his music, his dance, and his hope. U r not God. Let Him be the judge and let Chris grow from his mistakes. He must live within the public eye. Just imagine if you had to do the same.

I’ve made many a mistake in my life, some I wish NEVER for anyone to find out about, and I’ve not had to live them out loud. I’ve had the opportunities to relive, refresh, and refocus in private. Chris does not. I wish him all the success in the world. He is a young man with a heart of gold that had acid thrown upon it. We must give him the time to shine again. He is apologetic, and, remorseful as well. He does not blame even though I’m sure he could drum up some. He doesn’t hate, even though I’m sure he may want to. He just wants to give his music to the world and entertain. That’s it, that’s all. I love you Chris! Do YOUR thang and let the haters hate! U r a legend in the making!

  10. To: “disgusted young black woman”,

You should be ashamed of yourself for not plugging into what the older black women (and men) of the “black entertainment community” or “black community” have said concerning the Chris Brown/Rihanna “incident”! If by chance you watched Oprah or The Wendy Williams Show, then you would not have spoken in such ignorance and would therefore have no need to feel “ashamed”. BOTH Oprah and Wendy Williams went in on Chris Brown for his actions – HARD!!! They both spoke up and spoke out concerning Chris Brown’s actions and the heinous act of domestic violence in general – REPEATEDLY!!! If you listen to the radio, most urban radio stations stopped playing Chris Brown, altogether, for a time! Most now have begun again, but only 1 or 2 songs in sparse rotation. Whereas Rihanna’s songs get constant airplay. All I can say is seek and you shall find, ask and it shall be given unto you. Notice I didn’t say complain and whine and you will get what you want. Oh, and I hope you don’t like the rap group Naughty by Nature (Wendy recently had them on her show). Treach (lead rapper) was accused by his ex-wife (Pepa from girl rap group Salt N Pepa) of constantly beating her throughout their union. I hope you don’t like Jay-Z either. He’s been known to smash a woman in her face – HARD – in his day also (don’t forget he’s a retired big-time drug dealer). Google the phrase “Jay-Z Hits Women!!!” and see the video (trendyink.net) for yourself!!! Jay-Z said he knew the woman and that they were just “playing around”, but clearly the only people amused were his goons looking on! Chris Brown is a symptom of a bigger ailment that affects all women of all cultures, races, and classes. Targeting Chris Brown (alone) and killing his career (and therefore him) will not heal the sickness!

  11. As a young black woman, I am disgusted with the black community and ashamed of it. Of course I don’t expect him to be banished from the public eye forever but no one in the black entertainment community or black community stood up and denounced what he did to Rhianna. If justin timberlake did this to britney spears when they were dating white people in the community and entertainment would have crucified him, but the black community is so messed up no one could get a pair of balls and step up and say what a horrible monster he was for beating her, black men show a huge lack of respect for black women and this proves it, we will never get anywhere cause we are too worried about ourselves and not other black people and I do not see this changing ever. Shame on the black community.

  12. chris browns such a awesome singer/dancer lemme jus say intertainer
    lol hes got such talent!
    you go boy lols

  13. Like I’ve said before, I am so very proud of both Chris Brown and Rihanna for speaking out on the heinous crime of domestic violence – no matter the why’s, how’s and when’s of it all. We VERY RARELY get to hear from the abuser concerning his (or her) contribution to the “incident”, how he feels about it, his remorse, his conviction of the crime, and his pennance to right the wrongs. What’s even better here in the Chris Brown / Rihanna saga is that we also get to see the transgressor (Chris Brown) redeem himself in a VERY public fashion by pleading for forgiveness (over & over & over…) and the opportunity for redemption. I can’t EVER remember a celebrity who has done such a wrong and then has humbly, vulnerably, and sacrificially put all that he has/is at the feet of the pitchforked and heavily opinionated, fickle public. And he’s doing it all at just 20 years old. This young man really is a MAN – who had a moment! And now he’s coming back to himself – renewed and retooled. As long as he continues to show and prove (and not continually apologize) his willingness and ability to change, learn and grow from the “incident”, then he will have my $15 on 12/08/09 and my continued support and prayers (and Rihanna too!).

  14. If anyone still would like to berate, hound and otherwise make Chris Brown’s life and career miserable because of an admitted “mistake” that he is currently paying the price for (for now and many years to come most likely), then they should spread the hate around then. And there’s plenty of spreading to do. If we are all supposed to hate on and boycott Chris Brown, then let’s add these other celebrities to the list also: r&b singer JOE; rapper DR. DRE; actor/singer TERRENCE HOWARD; actor/talent judge DAVID HASSELHOFF; actor CHRISTIAN BALE; singer PAUL MCCARTNEY; actor WESLEY SNIPES (beat actress Halle Berry); rapper TREACH (from Naughty by Nature beat “Pepa” from Salt N Pepa); actor TOM SIZEMORE; actor BILL MURRAY; football player SEAN MERRIMAN; christian singer BEBE WINANS; “Soul Train” host DON CORNELIUS; “Girls Gone Wild” founder JOE FRANCIS; child actor GARY COLEMAN; singer AXL ROSE; basketball players DELONTE WEST & DENNIS RODMAN; singer BOBBY BROWN; singer TYRESE (accused of Punching Pregnant Girlfriend); singer JAMES BROWN; actor DARIUS MCCRARY (Eddie Winslow from “Family Matters”); singer SCOTT STAPP (Creed); sports announcer JIM LAMPLEY; baseball player DMITRI YOUNG and the list goes on & on & on…

  19. Hi Wendy,

I have just recently (in the past few months) started watching your show and was really impressed with how honest you are with your comments. But saying that I was quite taken back by the fact that you had Chris Brown on your show and I am even more taken back by the fact that so many WOMEN posting on your site are taking his side. I have even seen a posting by a female saying that she was suprised that Rhianna didn’t try to help him out! WTH?? Why should she help him? He HIT her and nothing can make that Ok!!! I know that some people might be under the impression that as long as someone says “Oh, I’m sorry!” that everything is ok and the problem is solved. Just to review the facts… He BEAT her up!! If you remember the photos you should know that. This is not something that you can simply say “I’m sorry” for and it will all go away.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved him in the beginning. I have a tween son and was glad to finally see what I thought was a good roll model for him, but since this happened I have boycotted all things pertaining to him and so has my son (on his own). Radio stations in our area (DFW, TX) have begun playing his songs again since he pleaded guilty and said his “I’m sorry’s” and when one of his songs comes on he will change the station.

I have never been a victim of domestic violence but I know women who have been and I just hope these young girls that are posting on you site know that it can happen to anyone and it is never ok and saying “I’m sorry, it won’t happen again” does not make everything alright and does not make it go away!

  20. OK I SEE YOU LoL
