Heres my story I am a single mom my youngest just graduated from high school today, I am a black woman 42, and I am a Nurse. My children's father passed away 14 years ago we were together for 16 years. Over the years I have worked a lot to raise my children I have never taken a vacation, never even bought me a new mattress, etc, I have always put my children first. I am starting a new chapter in my life and I want someone to share it with. I broke up with my last boyfreind because he liked alcohol more than me. It was the loneliest relationship I ever had in my life. He wanted to come before my children and was jealous of them when I am all they have. I would love to find someone who is my equal and who has enough love for us all. It seems all I meet are losers who do not have anything to offer. Beyond this man being my man I want a life-long friend someone that I can talk to and share my life with I know how to compromise and discuss issues/not arguing I don't feel that I need to win every battle. I am excited about life and all that it has to offer. I know that anything that is worthwhile does not come easy. Wendy I have ended so many relationships because they were not the people my children would have benefitted from, I have always put my children first and even though at times it may have hurt me if the person I was with did not seem right for my children to be around or exposed to I let it go. Now that my children are grown I am ready to find that right person to love I accept people for who they are because no matter how old we are we are all a work in progress. Wendy I think you are better than O---- I never watch her but I watch you faithfully I try everyday to be as happy and welcoming as you are to people, I smile all the time. I have never written a letter to any show I figured with the rest of the world being more interesting I am just the average single mom. But you know what Wendy if I had to do it over again I would do it the same way with the same children, they say what don't kill you only makes you stronger and you know what they ain't never lied.Wendy in closing I hope that I am not being too greedy I just want to have someone that loves me for me, a new mattress new bedrooms for my children, and to see what its like to take a vacation, like the rest of america and you know what the company I work for doesn;t offer vacations if I take one I don't have income for however long I am gone doesn't that suck!!
