  2. Thank you Wendy(daughter in my head) for all that you do.Thank you for acknowledging our men and women in the armed forces. This is a beautiful song that coupled with the photos, tugs at my heart and brings tears to my eyes.I have very young nephews and neices that are serving in Iraq and Afghanastan. Our family is very close-knit and it really hurts. It’s frightening because they let us know that they were committed to dying for this country and they needed us to except what may be the last embrace, the last kiss or I love you.We pray and miss them, but it helps to know that there are others that truly care.God Bless..
    Much Love & Respect

  3. Thank you SO much for letting them sing this on your show!

It means a lot to us military wives.

My husband is deployed and is missing our babies first Christmas.

He left when our son was 6wks old.

  4. Wendy,
My mother and I are both in the Army. My father was as well, before he passed away of cancer – when i was very young. My mom records your show every day and called me over to see the song – it was great. We both love when we know we are appreciated.
I am leaving for Iraq right after the New Year and really appreciated when we know we are loved.
    Thank you so much.

  5. ” We wish you ALL at the W.W. studio “A Very Merry Christmas” and
” A New Year filled with True Joy and Happiness all year Long/ Always “.

  6. P.S.

Our Nephew-a Marine, was in Iraq three years ago, He’s home safe and sound. There are no real words to express the “Gratitude and Thanks” we have for ALL in the U.S. Military. God Almighty Truly Bless them. We pray for their safe return to the U.S…for wars to end…all over the world.

There must be a way to accomplish world wide “Peace”: If we could just..
“Love one another” as the good book commands. Love thy neighbor as thyself.

    How u doin. Penny B.

  7. Hi W.W.

You are loved and respected by sooo many people like myself. My daughter and I loooove your show. We “How u doin” everyone. It’s fun.

Also, we have some comments about the “Tiger” and the “Angie-J” world wide gossip / books !!!. In one sentence….They are people with “hearts”, and should be “left alone” to heal and grow in privacy.

There are many Tigers and Angies on the planet-who do the same things and no one cares….because they are not famous. Oh, enough already…”next”.

    By for now. love penny

  8. Dear Wendy,

thank you so much for this. i wanna thank you for showing support for our troops. i’m an army wife and thankfully my soldier is home this christmas. it really touched my heart to see that people still care for us military people. it’s not easy to be married to someone who’s always gone but that’s the price all military wives have to pay, we traded our diamonds for dogtags. thank you so much WENDY.

Ps. i love your show :)

    God Bless Y’all

    J.

  9. I am a teacher of students with disabilities for a metro district in the atlanta metro area. I watch your show every night. You talked about teachers receiving gifts as bribes. We can’t be bribed. Assessments that hold teachers accountable prevent us from being bribed. Even if you give a large gift, because you think your child will get good grades, it will show up in assessments that are standardized in every state that will show if your child has learned. I don’t want parents that just go along and are cooperative. What your child needs is a parent that knows where there child is according to what they need to learn and helps to get them there. Making nice with the teacher will not teach your child so those who give with this in mind are not helping there child anyway.

  10. Thank you for remembering and honoring those who sacrifice so much to protect us and keep us safe . The photo of my Son(in-law) and my grandaughter was actually taken in the parking garage of the San Antonio International Airport upon his return from his second tour in Iraq! We as a family were so greatful for his safe return home and we continue to pray for all those who remain in Iraq and Afganistan as well as those being deployed. It is our responsibility as Americans to support our troops and our leaders with prayer ! Again thank you so much!

  11. Wendy
Thank You for this video. I am the mother of SA Kaler. This was great. Thank You to everyone who serves in the Military, for wanting to take care of your Country. You are all Hero’s. I am glad I have my special hero, my son.

  12. Wendy,
I have never watched your show. But my daughter in law watches you. She sent in the picture of SGT David Alexander from Ft. Bragg, NC. That’s my son. I am so proud. He ditched one day in his Sr. year, He joined the Army. that was in 1995. I saw him this summer and it had been 6 years.
I want to thank you for selecting his picture. Merry Christmas.

  15. Wendy i just love you and your show so much, and when i seen that the stunners were performing i got so happy and it has really been the first time tv or the radio has made me smile or happy cuz even though its the holidays and Christmas is near there are so many people like me that their loved ones arent here and its extremely hard to look and hear everywhere abou joyfull things when there are many men and women over seas and away from family and nothing about it is joyfull and ive been waiting for someone to bring attention to this. Thank you for everything cuz i really needed that smile cuz its been so hard without my boyfriend. My heart just goes out to everyone out there with family in the service.

  16. Wendy,
Thank you so much for supporting our Troops and showing this wonderful video. I watch you often and your like listening to a close friend. This is my first Christmas with my husband of three years and our first Christmas married. He has gone the past two Holiday’s for two years in a row. He was in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom for 15 months. This holiday is extra special for us and I appreciate those who realize what we are missing when they are away. Christmas is not Christmas without my Soldier. Now that he is home we prepare for his fourth and hopefully final deployment to Iraq in March. Please keep doing such awesome things for our Soldiers! People truly love you and certain little, special things you do like this mean so much. Until they all come home….Thank you and Merry Christmas.
