  1. hi wendy, this has nothing to do with any comments,but i hope you can help me. on nov 5th 2009 the day of your cocktail party when veronica webb and you had the fashion show, myself and my daughter were on the show to introduce you, we also had the pleasure of speaking to you. although we had no previous tickets for the show and were hoping to get standbys as that was the reason we made the trip from canada to see your show, you see my daughter is sick and this was something she was desperate to do as she and all of her friends are big fans of yours. we were treated like celebrities by your staff and crew members and we still talk about it to whoever will listen. it was quite a shock to be actually on your show,honestly Wendy you will never know what it meant to us. anyway i was wondering if i sent the money for the tape,postage and whatever else is needed could i possible get a copy. it would mean sooo much to my daughter,and me of course. We love your show,now we have met you and you terrific staff we will definatly come back to NY to see it again. Thank you all for a memorable gift,and your kindness to we Canadiens.

  2. Hey Wendy, this has nothing to do with lastnight show but i just had to tell you that i love your show. I’m from Jamaica and i don’t miss your show for nothing. I first started watching your show after watching “The Soup” with Joel Mchale. I was very curious so i searched for your show now i don’t even watch the soup anymore.

  3. Yeah. I love him (because he had a cute outfit), but he really does need to eat the cake. You’re sweet grandmother of 103 years probably goes through a lot of trouble to make that fruitcake at her age, and it probably gives her a lot of joy.

    Eat the Cake. And spit it in a napkin when nobody is looking, (or slip some of it to the dog that’s trying for scraps anyway), or better yet, goes in, have a big dinner (if one is available), have two-three bites, and then say “You know what, I’ve been eating so much, I’m so full. I’m just gonna wrap this up and take it home with me so that I can enjoy it later.”

    And as soon as you are in the privacy of your own home, ditch it in the trash compactor. :) but yeah….eat the cake.

  5. ROTFLMFAO!!! OMG!! That was soooooooooooo funny! I’m here watchin’ my shows on my DVR and had to rewind that a FEW times! Maaaaaan don’t give your grandma a heart attack!! She has earned the right to feed you whatevaaaaaaaaa she damn well pleases! LOL How you dooooooooin’?!

I thought he was the cutest thing ever as well and dammit grandma is 103 years old so just eat the fruitcake, Love, Love, Love your show Wendy I swear I watch it everyday, never miss an episode.   10. Wendy, I’m so glad you told that young man to go ahead and eat the nasty fruit cake. His granny would probably have a heart attack, if he told her he didn’t like her cake. Some things are better left unsaid. What would be really funny is if he told her that it was nasty and then she says “I know, baby, I know. I was wondering when someone was going to tell me.”

I agree he should just eat the fruit cake, I mean it makes her happy to think he enjoys it plus she’s a well over 100 and there are going to be times when he thinks about her after she’s gone and wished she was still here and that eating the fruit cake wasn’t so bad :-) he could ALWAYS spit it into a napkin or feed it to the cat or dog when no ones looking

    I went to High School with a girl she told me that her grandmother used to put chicken broth in their breakfast foods. She’d put chicken broth in grits,oatmeal she said she hated it but if she and her siblings didn’t want eat it her grandmother would YELL at them and tell them they better or else

    My bff said her ex sister in law uses Worcestershire Sauce in her food when she cooks. She said everyone hates when she makes anything for the holidays:-)

  17. Hey Wendy! i have one a little better. My sister and i went to my gram’s house one night for dinner. My gram makes some awesome baked mac & cheese so we asked her if she would make it. She of course did and also made baked chicken and green beans. Well the mac & cheese didn’t look like the normal yellowish orange color that i was use to. It was all white. So I assumed she bought white cheddar cheese instead of yellow cheddar cheese. Well i was totally wrong. I took a huge spoonful and shoved it in my mouth and i about gagged. She ran out of the cheddar and made the mac & cheese with cottage and cream cheese. I hate cottage cheese and it was the nastiest thing every in my life I have ever ate! To this day, now 71, my gram always makes a point of when cooking, how her “cottage cream mac & cheese” wasn’t that bad. Yeah Gram it really was!

  18. Good advice Wendy! But I’m sure at 103 yrs old, he can put that fruitcake into a napkin & throw it away without her noticing!
