  2. Looks like I was just beating my gums along with others asking questions about the show on this site. Sadly, doesn’t seem like anyone from the show responds to questions about tickets, merchandise, etc. Understand everyone works so hard to bring a great show each day. Hopefully, as the show grows they will hire some additional staff to make this a working site. In the meantime thank you all for all your hard work. You Rock!

  4. Wendy, I saw Amerie perform on your show. When I read an ad that her album was coming out on Nov. 3rd, I was ready! Her album is HOT! I love the energy of the first half of the album! She’s got some very funky numbers on her album! The slower songs on the second half are just as good. She must have come up with those beats and music herself, even playing them, not those producers, because she knew how she wanted her album this sound. She gives Beyonce, Keri Hilson (who has a similar edgy R&B style), Keyshia Cole and even Mary J Blige a run for their money music wise on this album! Her performance with the female dancers was HOT! Thanks for having her!

On Wednesday’s show during “Ask Wendy”, I couldn’t believe the look on the young lady’s face who asked how she could get her mother to baby sit for her and you told her to pay up – after all you told her she was the one who decided to have unprotected sex. My God! She turned around to look at her friend with her mouth open looking like how dare you have the audacity to call her out with the truth! She acted like just because she could have a child she should! It was priceless and telling because so many of our young women these days think it’s okay to not have a child’s daddy around and it’s such a disservice to the children who miss out on a dad their whole lives. Thank you Wendy for telling the truth to our girls because “we women of a certain age” need to share some wisdom with our younger girls who aren’t taking responsibility for their actions – USE A COMDOM EACH AND EVERY TIME GIRLS – not just to prevent pregnancy but to prevent the myriad of sexually transmitted diseases that are life altering and too often fatal for themselves and their partners.

    How you doin, I Love your show, but i would like to make a comment on a picture you viewed on your show. The one about the soul train award show that was taped? You cut off the picture and didn’t show the first woman of the supremes. I wanted to see my cousin on the show and waited until 12 midnight to do so and you cut her off the picture. Why? I don’t know but can you please show my Chi-Chi again. She’s a fabulous choregrapher and dancer. She worked really hard to get where she is today and everybody loves her…
    somewhat disappointed in you cutting off the picture. Our whole family waited to see her and you cut her off. :{

  8. Hi Wendy, great show I did notice the differences ;) . It was awesome you had Paris on your show. I didn’t care for her either way but after seeing her yesterday I like her.
    I too have followed Amerie’s career from the start, and I love love love her. She doesn’t get the respect she deserves. I don’t feel as though she is “biting” Beyonce. The only somewhat likeness would be the dancing but quite a few performers have that style of dance. They’re not exactly the same everyone adds their own style to it. Amerie had an awesome performance and I will continue to follow her.

Wendy I remember working downstairs on 3 park ave…listening to you describe Amerie and playing her 1st single over and over…what a building block the chance you gave her back then was.She’s still the good girl now like in that 1st interview.Gave me goosebumps then and now. I remember it practically word for word. You spiced up our boring office afternoons everyday.

  10. This was one of the worst interview’s I’ve ever seen you do…IT WAS SO ARTIFICIAL…Why was Paris pulling her dress to cover her legs????. She wasn’t that innocent when she was filming that porn-movie/dvd??? Give me a break.. Don’t invite her back ~~ it was an insult. Wendy just be yourself ~~ you don’t need to suck up to Wealth!!!

  11. All I have to say is these people making the comments about amerie must be young and they are clearly not a fan of amerie’s Amerie has danced and sang the same since she first came out. I loved her song Why Not Fall In Love, Beyonce is very talented but there are also other talented ladies out there too.

  12. O STOP!!!! If you notice Beyonce’s strategy moves and how she stays on top. She is always strealing the spotlight away from female somebody singer. Even her own step sister. After you have put out there, she is there to copy and call her own. She is no originator of nothing. PLEASE!

  13. Wendy, I caught your show with Paris Hilton. You were excellent with the interview but she had little or nothing to contribute to the conversation. She barely spoke unless you prodded her directly. She did a good job of nodding her head. For all her notoriety she was a boring guest. Here was her chance to hear her side of things and she was as silent as a lamb. Even having pink in common didn’t stir a conversation out of her!

Hi Wendy, Love the Show so this is nothing toward that I’m just Replying to other commentaries: Amerie is by no means Biting off of Beyonce just take a look at Amerie’s earlier video’s and you will clearly see some of the same outfits and dance moves that Beyonce is doing and wearing Now…..Fortunately Beyonce just happens to have a larger fan base… What would you do? Nothing cause ur not in her shoes so leave the Beautiful Woman alone :)

    Amerie seems as if she has a lot of passion for what she does and she looked great, but it was very Beyonce. The opening of the legs and whining down with one leg bent and one straight, Beyonce! Wendy stop being so luke warm with all the guest. What happened to Wendy’s got the HEAT? Call them all OUT! like you used to. I WANT THE OLD WENDY! The one who exposed Puffy for being gay. The one who blew up Angie Martinez for sleeping with Q-TIP “allegedly” then got into a fight at the station. The one who had the women on the radio stating there was an HIV postivtive Rapper from Queens. COME ON!

  18. OMG wtf! Am i the only one that realized that Amerie just bit the hell off of Beyonce. Are you kidding me Wendy!! From the beats in the song ( sounding like Beyonce Diva), her clothes, the way the dancers were lined up in the J setter, and the dances!! It looked like a bad Beyonce video. I am too through with you Wendy if you do not put her on blast tomorrow. U talk about keepin it real well lets just see how real you will be! Now how u doin! Amerie have been comparing herself for years to Beyonce. I remember in a radio interview she said she could understand people getting them mixed up because of the way they can sing and dance alike! Is she seriously comparing herself to ” Miss Beyonce”! Po lil tink tink. She have bumped her head and fell off of the ” I wanna be beyonce ” train! Chile i am too done today. And dont think that I am hating on her because her 2nd album is a classic but baby girl be your own woman sweetie. Beyonce has left her mark in the industry sweetie try to do the same. How u doin!!!
    P.S. and dont try that mess about Beyonce biting off other people because yes some things she have like Shakira but what i just saw was ridiculous.

  19. Need help please. Am not a hater, anything but see post made earlier. Doesn’t seem to be any response or interaction here nor a way to contact the show. For months have been trying to get tickets, keep clicking on free dates, nothing happens, yet the show keeps encouraging come see us live. Do understand only so many tickets available so not complaining but exactly what is the deal? Schedule goes up to Feb will empty dates showing, nothing happens. Are there tickets available or not? No worries please just let us know what is going on. Seems to be throughout the site, people asking questions and don’t see any answers or a way to contract anyone. Know your all busy and work very hard but things like tee shirt requests being made in larger sizes, where can you buy books, are lacking responses. Thanks in advance for any help. Hope am not just beating my gums posting to myself, lol. Here is the earlier post:

    Congratulations Wendy! You work/worked hard to get here. Am so proud and happy for you. Thank you to you and your staff for all your hard work. Overall think you and your show are fly and a bright and positive well needed plus to our day. Find myself getting a triple dose catching it as it is rerun during the day. Thank you so much for helping make the world a better place.

    Posting here because read some can not find Wendy’s books.
    Recently found them all available at amazon.com and purchased them without any problems. Have nothing to do with amazon other than being a consumer am just trying to help. Not sure if am allowed to say this here (if not sorry just delete) or if it is currently available but when I made my purchases did see some used copies available for sale. Paid full price so have no idea how that works or if currently available but might be of help to someone so give it a look.
    Read two books so far, very quick reads and enjoyed both.
