Radio Hall of Fame: Wendy was in Chicago in early November to be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame for her accomplishments during her 23-year career in radio.

I want to be the next big thing in arts and fashion,You think FASHION ? Well I have a background in fashion illustration and fine arts so I put the to together and made a style called a la Dominiaka a mix of cuture fashion designs that i made on canvas and galley fine arts oil painting. there lifesize paintes with weave and wigs feathers ,clay body parts and fabric that drops to the floor …….. its over the top but i think u would LOVE it . I want to show women that fashion is art not a life style, female dont have to be skinny to reflect the models ,models are just the canvas for the designer, so iam showing that in art .thats my artist statement.

  8. Hi Wendy How you doin??? My husband and I absolutley love the show! I tivo everyday and work from home. never miss a second! set…GREAT guests…LOVE EM, audience… AWESOME!!! You are a great friend…(in my head). I tell my husband, I could hang out with you all day, you never miss a beat.

    Watched the hot topic on Toni Braxton with my husband, “yeah…. we would be beefin’ too” he says!!! No judging.. not my style. I have had and still have me messy days! Thank you for being just you! You never fail to brighten a bad day, and you keep me in the loop! Congratulations on the award, you deserve it!!

  9. I agree with the viewer on this page that says most African Americans grew up going to church or their definetly is someone in the family who knows the bible and passes the knowlege on. It states clearly in The Bible that the woman was created for the man. People just want to live the way they want to, as if their is no Creator and as if there are no rules to live by. I purposely did not watch the show with Wanda. Every time I turn around, these homosexual folks are all over the tv letting everyone know that they are freaky. Who really cares??? Keep it to yourself. Look at Rosie O’Donnell and her situation. All of those kids she and her ex partner have, and no man in sight! It is just not fair to the children. Wendy seems to be real cool with embracing peoples gayness. That is where I have to part company with her. It always boggles my mind when a female such as Wendy who clearly loves the male species, is so cool when a female such as her guest Cat Cora wants to talk about her “wife”. I would think that it would make Wendy and women like her somewhat uncomfortable, but it seems it does not. I just do not get it. Heterosexuals unite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are becoming a country of freaks.

  10. How u doin, Wendy. I luv ur show, its the best thing sicne Oprah. I tuned nto ur show on Friday night it was dinomite as usual, until Wanda Sykes came on. I nvr found her to be funny or entertaining. She made certain comments about black women looking at her funny because she is with a white women. NO! They were probably lookin at her because they didn’t realize she’s a DYKE. Wanda also made a comment about why she didn’t want a biracial baby, which really disturbed me and I”ve lost all respect for the “not funny at all comedian”. The comment was on hair and she didn’t want a baby with hair that would be hard for her white wife to take care of. Are u kidding me wanda! Another Black person lowering the self esteem of Black people. I hope wanda dosen’t make that ignorant comment if she’s asked on the Oprah show, Tyra, or Mo’nique Show. Still again Weny I luv ur show, good luck and hopefully we’ll see u on the Big Screen.

    How u doin? Hope you are well. My name is Maribel and Let me start by saying that I love your show and love the way you conect with people. I’m a mother of 4 and with about a thousand things to do, I do not get a chance to relax. Luckly for me, everyday close to midnight I get the chance to watch the rerun(Wendy Show), let my hair down and relax. Love it, go to sleep like a baby. You are wonderful, caring, loving, funny, hard worker, (WAIT just like ME :) & total inspiration. I’m trying to do best I can for my little ones, my 9 year old is in a chorus. (Sing like angels) 6 yr old in soccer, 5 yr old started school and a precious 2 month old baby boy. Anyway, we are looking for sponsors and would like to know if you can help us. Any help will be greatly appreciated it, we just want to provide a better future for the children.     Wendy your show was nice today, I miss half of the show, I did get to see CC Pounder she look real good. CC look very happy and I am happy CC is enjoying been married I like how she told the audience about how she met her husband. The one thing I love about most married is when people are happy and that they stay together for a long time. I am a fan of CC pounder, she is really a cool actress, I love her work. I was hoping she would mention The shield, but when you have so many out standing movies and shows you can’t mention them all. You two are like friends in my head.

    Wendy your show was terrific today. I miss half an hour of it today but it was still very good. I enjoy seeing Wanda Sykes, I love to here her say she is very happy, with the Twins and her love. I was really surprise to here Wanda say she is gay. Wanda you are a real strong woman. Hope your show do well, you and Wendy should have drinks once a month to compare how each show is doing.

    Wendy your advice to the young married lady was not one I would have giving to her today. She should sit down and talk with her mom, I would not like for my daughter to go behind my back and lie, just to see her dad. So it would be better to face what ever she (mom) need so her daughter could see her dad and his new wife, the truth is always better know matter how difficult the situation may be.

    How you doing? I am doing fine. Watch the Wanda Sykes interview and appreciate her honesty. I really did. However, I have one comment about her joke about black woman looking at her and her white girlfriend. Wanda should realize that most african american people were brought up in church and believe and stand on the word of God, that woman was made out of the mans rib, and that woman and men should get married. Let me be clear, NONE of us, including me are perfect, and we never will be. I would say that the looks probably mean ” there goes another one to the world ” and not to the ‘the kingdom of God. God does give us the freedom of choice but he want really want us do it his way, not ours. I don’t think no one really cares about the color of the woman – honestly. We are more sensitive to that issue when it comes to our men. So whether it was really just a joke ….let be clear we care about the word of God and/or our own preferences.

  20. Hey Wendy. How you doing! After 6 years of physical & emotional abuse I am ready to be doing just fine. One problem I am 25 yrs old, have 2 small kids, I make $7.75/hr & my family is not the type of family to lend a helping hand. I’ve decided to leave my abusive situation and ruff it on my own but I’m scared that because I don’t have the things I need I might go back. From day one my ex has been my family. He picked me up when my mom threw me out &I have always depended on him. Now after 6 years I have nothing but the clothes on my back & my dreams. I am ready to be a woman a better mother & fufil my dreams of writing. I feel that you have overcome so much & I need the wisdom of one who knows. I love my kids &we will sleep on floor with pillows & blankets if that means saving our lives, but Wendy as a young mother I feel it’s not fair for them to suffer b/c I chose a man that was beyond my worth. I just want me &my kids to be comfortable. Please extend your help &advice. I desire to do better I just need a little help..hell, we all do sometimes.
