what made you want to do a talk show?
Tuesday December 1st, 2009 at 10:48 pm
Wendy,
I love you and your show, but I’m sorry Jason DeRulo’s performance was a hot boiling overcooked mess. I wanted him to do well because I think his song is so catchy (thanks to the Imogen Heap sample) but I was thoroughly disappointed. His singing was dry and the dancing actually made me uncomfortable. I can’t blame you though Wendy you were only giving him the platform to take off…too bad he walked the plank instead.
Love you,
April Renee

Hey Wendy – How U doin’. Girl, what is up with this Willie Garson. He was really dry first of all, but, when he sat down on the sofa and extended his legs and placed his feet, HIS @*!# FEET on your lap, I thought that was totally disrepectful. You are a beautiful, sexy funny LADY, not his nanny, and I thought that was nothing less than RUDE of that ……… EN-T-WAY you handled it very well, but I just could not get over the nerve of that boring bi…! Love you Wendy. Frederic

Wendy,
I wanted to comment on the wives leaving thier families. I just wanted to say that if the husband and fahters of these women or thier children were to help more often than women wouldnt leave thier families. Family members should also help out especially when they see that the mom has so much on her plate. I know being a mom, wife, daughter, student, employee, daughter in law…etc…is so much for me and I am 21 years old. There are times I just want to leave or scream my lungs out with all the stress that weighs on my shoulders. I am very grateful that when those times come my family and husband is there to take over for me while I get an hour or two for myself. Every women should always get sometime for their selves even if it means going to bed an hour later or waking up an hour earlier. Take time out for yourselves.

Hi Wendy,
I was wondering if any time soon will you have Steve Ward from the VH-1 Realtiy show Tough Love as a guest on your show. If you’ve ever watched the show, you two have the same style of advice-TOUGH! I learned so much from the first season of that show and of course watching and listening to you over the years. At 37, I finally GOT IT, when it comes to dating and men!
I used to be a local producer for your radio show in Charlotte on Q92.7 (2006-2007) and I’m a former jock myself. I love the show and so does my daughter! I’ve been out of radio for about 2 years now and I work at IKEA Home Furnishings now (sista’s gotta work). Thank you for representing for so many years in the radio industry. Throughout my 15 years in radio, I always admired you. Keep up the excellent work. And I look forward to the next Wendy Show- HOW YOU DOIN??????????
Best Regards,
Nicole Hemphill

I just needed to respond on your hot topic papers, first off great color, and secondly, you have become much more organized being that the papers are stapled now, and I feel like you are getting a chance to get through MORE hot topics, as I’m sure you know a few seconds here and there looking for quotes etc. adds up to a lot of extra time.

Hey Wendy
The chancing of you finding or reading this letter I know is next to none, that’s just how my lucks goes. I am a 34 year old black female whose life have been rough based on poor choices. How ever I am trying to get me life back on track . I have 5 children and now I realize the value of leaving an inheritiance for them. I am a natural born Entrepreneur. It is my inspiration to open and direct a HIV center for teens in a highly proverish stricken area called Kingstree, SC, and place that is worth little to or that isn’t looked upon by society. The only publicity that we seem to attrack are ignorant statement from our dear governor sanford I hope that you could help me bring positive publicity to SC through assisting me in erecting this wonderful facility and helping a poor (my) family establish wealth for its children and children’s, children via lending a helping hand . All I need is a boost from someone as down to earth and caring as yourself to change the status quo of a battered, abused women who wants more out of life, and dears to dream and have hope. I know that there has got to be an angel out there that GOD has enable to help make dreams come true. But just as my luck has always been I know this letter probably want find you.
However I have a dream,
Could you make this hope of mines come true.
Wishful Thinking,
Tiffany Mitchell

Wendy Wendy Wendy
I was reading between lines and Willie Garson was trying to let you have it in his own way until you stated the ladies in the front row thought he was gay. I saw your facial expression and was just as shocked as you were. I did not like the way he acted and I was glad when his segment was over and done with….. You should of read his nutz off!!!!!
How You Dooin

Hiya Wendy,how u doin?
Get a real kick out of your show.
There are two things that bother me though (not big).
1, As a media roll model, I think it is important that you speak correctly. I heard you say “youse” when addressing a group of people. I cringed. If you were one of the “Bowery Boys” (remember Horace Debusey Jones) that whould be o.k. Your not her, (not yet) but O never does something like that. Of course that was not the only incident, but, it was most glaring to me.
2. When a “regular (heterosexual) man gets up to comment, it seems to me that you brush them off. I get the impression that only women and gay men’s comments are of value to you.
Otherwise have a GREAT AND BLESSED THANKSGIVING

As far as what anyone is doing for Thanksgiving,,Wendy for 5yrs My husband Kevin & I have been going to my Mother in laws house for thanksgiving. The plan is not to stay indoors and get so Miserably full but to take our 2 kids out after dinner and enjoy our time off doing something outdoors. May skating, or something more active.
