  1. I know the storm has died down on this, but as more time has passed it occurred to me that Adam has a LOT of gaul to excuse his behavior based on something someone else did years ago – especially when the incident he is citing was ONE KISS by two very well known artists, not an entire performance by a hardly known artist that lost American Idol that was filled with one vile act after the other Idol may be the show with the highest ratings, but it is far from being watched by everyone in this country. This was his first performance for his very first CD and the first time many people have ever heard of him or seen him perform. I think he’s a bit full of himself for expecting people to accept his behavior when they’ve never even heard of him before. The sad part is, he is very talented yet (as you can tell from the posts) his antics turned off way more people than he ever brought on board – many of which had been his fan prior to this performance (me included). He is extremely talented and he ruined his first real introduction to America with an immature, disrespectful, and distasteful performance. I think perhaps he has spent too much of his life in the lime light and hasn’t been told “no” enough. Maybe now we’re seeing why he never had his big break. Remember Randy’s comment during Idol about being shocked that Adam hadn’t already been discovered – maybe he was discovered, but they had the sense to pass on him. Don’t you know the people at Idol are breathing a sigh of relief that Adam didn’t win!

  2. Just three letters required …… I C K !!!!!

  3. besides, for a man, andy’s face is beat for the gods! you don’t work that kind of beat singing “somewhere over the rainbow.” ask David Bowie, Kiss..et al.

  5. no further than madonna did at the first(?) vma’s. her rolling around in a wedding dress singing “like a virgin.” he’s this decade’s over the top, OUT, homosexual. this his his time. milk it!! werk!

  6. why did adam do that

  7. HOW YOU DOING?

One more thing about Adam Lambert. Leave it alone and it will go away!
    Remember to moisturize Adam!!!!

  8. WOW! He really thought he was doing a good job up there?? That was a hot MESS!! I mean come on celebrity children were in the audience too!! What has the world come to nowadays??

  9. His performance was very tasteless. And I’m disappointed that so many people are screaming “double standard” and trying to compare him to Britney and Madonna. Their overall performance was classic, the kiss at the end was the shocker. Adams “performance” was reduced to screaming and it was hard to understand what he was saying. The constant head to the crotch was distasteful. It was such a lack of respect for the audience. He didn’t care if anyone was offended at all. And then the extreme gothic thing was over the top. I worry about the morals of this country if everyone thinks that was ok. Whatever you do at home in the comfort of your home, that’s on you. But don’t go out of your way to be disrespectful and then expect people to spend their hard earned money on you. He went as far as to say that if anyone was offended then maybe he’s not for you. He’s already smelling himself! A big ole mess!

  10. Yes. Adam Lambert went too far. Does he not know that he doesn’t have to be out there like that if he wants to go far in his career. When you have talent you have to use it correctly. It seems as though he is trying to reach a small group of people. I don’t think his career is going to survive. I mean he acted like a total jackass and I am so glad my kids only saw one hour of it because their bedtime IS at 8.

  11. Wendy -
Adam Lambert in my opinion went WAY too far – This was on a Disney owned network, he wasn’t there for my entertainment! He has a great talent, too bad he wasted his time on the AMA’s groping and screaming.

  12. Hi Wendy
I love your show! It is on fox here at 9:00 AM weekdays and 6:00 PM. I have to say that being from NJ but now in Norfolk VA I get you. Hard to find people down here who understand. I love your new wig (Brown) It seems like your conservitive side. Please continue to wear the others. Have you tried Lucy Ball Red? Back to the twink Allan. I being gay myself and liberal minded( went to clubs in 70’s M&K Asbury Park living in Ocean Twp I was embarrased for him. If he thinks that was entertainment he is wrong. All I heard was a lot of screaming and a hot mess going on. Straights look at him and think we are all like that mess. He needs to come down a couple of pegs. No double standard.Madonna and Brittany are artists No comparison to that ashy mess that calls himself an entertainer.
    Love Ya
    John

  13. Wendy love your hair! You look good dark….

  14. Wendy Adam did go too far I mean to each his own but there is a such thing called respect. I don’t believe he even cared about this what if the straight guy had children that would asl the question,”Why is that man kissing daddy?” So he did go toooo dang far it should have been done alittle better than that. And as far as they got what they got who knew he would go there.

  15. Wendy,
You know the old saying (Sometimes less is more)
If he would have gave us less we would have got a lot more.
Happy thanksgiving to you and your great crew.

  16. Wendy i am Find with two Gay men showing affection he might be doing this so he could be talked about

  17. With Americans being so off the cuff I’d say he didn’t go far. However, with it not being on cable I’d say the American public who can’t afford cable were not ready for that foolishness. To each his own though.

  18. Hi wendy.
I love Gay men and I’m not bothered by when they kiss or anything along the lines of pda . It took a long time for Madonna or Britney or Rhianna to establish themselves as artists before they tried performances like that on-air, he should keep it for his own concerts until he builds his reputation sorry this is America and you have to expect this media frenzy and you know he wanted it . Losing American idol doesnt give you the right to try and get on their level. And for the record I dont think there is a double standard for Female performers and Gay performers who do that live on national television on basic cable…any person would receive a backlash (Janet Jackson and the nip slip? Britney and the nude suit?? and Miley and her bare shoulder for vanity fair??? They got it much worse for much less). His audience was too general, he shouldve watered it down a bit… it was all too marliyn manson for a former American idol contestant, he was trying too hard. I find this media frenzy annoying but America isnt gonna change just so Adam Lambert can hump faces. And Frankly he’s no Freddy Mercury or ground breaking talented artist so he had to go shock value.
