Hi Wendy..I consider myself a liberal artistic person therefore I think this was an expression of his art and music. His performance was the last and it came on all most at the end of the show. Is it because he is gay and America isn’t ready to really accept it? Quite frankly I am not sure what the hoolala is about. Parents need to remember their teenager sons and daughters already know about this stuff and some of them are doing these things and more. Our society has change and is changing and this is due to modern technology so accessible to all ages.

To each his/her own, but displaying your sexual preference/sexuality is not something to display on television especially when you have a mixed audience that watches the show.

Too much! And he wants to argue that women have been doing it for years? I have never seen a woman take a mans head and rub their face in her crotch. He should have left out all the S&M dancers and just done the kiss or just had the S&M dancers. I shut off my TV thinking…. what…the…hell.

I want to comment on someone who bashed Wendy for not listening to Adam’s music before opening up discussion about him…….what? Listening to his music has NOTHING to do with HOW he performed on stage with another man. Come off girlfriend and whatever happened to “freedom of speech”? This is America. So what if Wendy has never listened to his music. We ALL judge girflfriend and I’m sure you do too, so lay off the negative vibe about Wendy.
From and avid Wendy fan 4 life!

Hell yea Adam lost his mind. What kind of example is he ” so called” setting for the kids. There is entertainment and XXXtainment. What he did was XXXtainment. Keep it in your bedroom; don’t put all ya business out there in da road. SMH that’s just tacky. Ooo yea How You Doin? Love your show Wendy and your style. I love when you take your finger and rub your teeth. It’s so funny. I always watch to see which ” hair of the day” you have on.

Just the way it goes in this world. Not everyone will please us, Nor will we be pleased by everyone. We all have our own minds. It just seems that the way some of us perceive music is how we perceive an abstract picture–it is what it is in our minds, The beauty of listening/watching/performing music is how one wants to imagine it to be.

Hi Wendy,
The act was raunchy, in bad taste and the song was horrible. I expect better from broadcast TV/ ABC. He is a very talented young man and I wish him well in the future. I saw him on “Idol”. He better clean up his act or he won’t have a future. Good for you for addressing this topic, and any other…love your show….How YOU Doing?
Wednesday November 25th, 2009 at 1:34 am
I think he didn’t go far enough!… People Just aren’t used to seeing that type of sexuality out there like that…I appluad him, and hope it opens many minds…. but I’m not a fan of his song:( but I respect what he’s doing! Luv ya.

Bravo Adam…it was a performance. he was the last performer of the night. coincidence? hmmm. like you wendy, i did not follow american idol the season he was on or any in years. i do know that there was a lot of controversy surrounding him, how you doin? i honestly feel his performance was based on that. based on his vocal performance, i purchased his cd. many kids see more than that in their own homes. in schools. in the streets. the parents ultimately must sit down and discuss that and many other subjects with their children. adam, do ya thing bruh.

Who is Adam Lambert? Seriously who is he? I agree that the same was done with Madonna,Britney and Christina but he should have considred this was a family programme too. Sounds like a nobody trying to get attention if you ask me.
Wednesday November 25th, 2009 at 12:20 am
These are times when I really miss Freddie Mercury. Adam’s performance was the devil incarnate. The first opportunity to step out and show out on the world’s stage what he can do and he acts like a pervert on steroids.
Wednesday November 25th, 2009 at 12:16 am
Hey we it john from texas I disagree with everyone stating that adam should have not done what he did. I say if its ok for madonna and Britney to do then it great that he did it to. And ask for as for his music the single is not out that why u don’t hear about any songs

IT’S BAD ENOUGH THAT WOMEN KISS WOMEN IN PUBLIC AND ON T.V., NOW YOU WANT US TO PUT UP WITH MEN DOING IT TOO???? NO!!!!!! I DON’T THINK SO!!! WE DON’T HAVE TO EXCEPT ANYTHING!!! THAT’S NOT WHAT JESUS SET OUT FOR US. WOMAN & MEN WERE PUT HERE FOR EACH OTHER TO PRODUCE. WOMEN CAN’T PRODUCE TOGETHER, MEN CAN’T PRODUCE TOGETHER. IT’S UNNATURAL AFFECTION ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE, AND IT’S ALSO AN ABOMINATION. GOD LOOKS DOWN ON ALL THAT, UNLESS THEY STOP ALL THAT AS FAR AS THE PRACTICE OF ALL INTAMACY WITH THE SAME SEX, THEY WILL NOT ENTER THE GATES OF HEAVEN!!! GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!!!! I REFUSE TO EXCEPT ANY OF THIS MESS!! I DON’T HAVE TO!!!!!

I love wendy

1st. Wendy your show is the best here in the caribean.
Tuesday November 24th, 2009 at 7:39 pm
I do agree that if it’s okay for woman to kiss on stage it should be okay for men. I have to say I think his performance would have been nothing more than a hot topic had he done it on a different show, like MTV where anything goes. It shouldn’t be an issues of children seeing it b/c they should have been sleep. All in all it’s being publicized too much. He messed up, but he is okay with the turnout so more power to him. We should move on to something more interesting. “How u doin” Ms. Wendy!

It has nothing to do with whether this performer is gay or straight. It also has much more significance than worrying about what the kids may see. I’m concerned with what is presented to me as an adult! How much lower are we going to let these performers go in the name of “pushing the envelope”? I thought the Madonna, Britney kiss was insulting enough and now some smug rock star wanna-be is subjecting his audience to this and claiming sex discrimination? I wouldn’t discriminate against him based on his sexual orientation, but I sure as hell would based on his act. I hope it ruins him.
Tuesday November 24th, 2009 at 7:18 pm
Wendy, for most of us, it was not the kiss that was offensive, it was the S&M show that pushed the envelope. However, that being said, it was the final performance of the night and parents who allowed their young teens to stay up to watch should use this as an opportunity to discuss sexuality and appropriate behavior. Also, can you really blame him, after all, for a while after American Idol, the press and fans were quite literally badgering him to reveal his sexual preference!
