  1. Dear Wendy- I think you need to acutally listen to Adam Lambert’s BEAUTIFUL voice BEFORE discussing anything about him. I’ll admit I am a HUGE Adam fan, however I’ll not weigh in on what happened during the AMA’s. Chill people! Seriously Wendy it’s NOT fair of you opening up discussion of Adam without having heard him yourself. Have a listen to his new CD then open things up for discussion.

  2. I myself am a gay male. It has taken so many years for us to get the acceptance from society. Sadly people like Adam Lambert comes along and has to shove it in the faces of the straight world, which in turn makes us look bad, and we because of him we are moving backwards rather than ahead. He didn’t perform on the AMA’s as an artist, but rather in poor taste and a poor representation of the Gay Communities world wide. He’s not appealing to look at or listen to screaming whatever he’s call singing. Sorry Adam, but you have outraged the Gay Community up here in Canada and we won’t be wasting our money on his album. PS Adam – have you ever heard of Proactive? Take a good look at your face!

  3. WEndy i do not have a problem with the kissing although i did not see because after watching him shove some guys face in his crotch i was done. I was one of the people who watched and voted for him on idol and was looking forward to this performance. But i wanted to hear him sing not see a raunchy show.

    I think the songs are still streaming there (free). “Broken Open” is the polar opposite of “For your Entertainment” although I like every mood he creates.
    Also have to add…ABC’s cancelation just makes me laugh. This country is SO backwards sometimes that I am ashamed!

  6. Actually, Wendy, I kind of see your point re: I don’t know his music and this is my introduction to him, BUT, you SHOULD check out his music. For Your Entertainment is a great debut CD, and his Idol performances are AMAZING. Check them out…all types of music on his CD = all types of performances yet to come. It doesn’t bother me that some don’t like his music (we each have our own tastes/favorites), but he is charming and articulate and talented, and I love him.
    What DOES bother me are statements like “it’s okay for two girls to be sexy, but two men…ewww” PLEASE!! As a straight woman, I have to say I find Adam EXTREMELY sexy (loved the AMA kiss!), simply because sexy is sexy. That, too, is a matter of personal preference, and for me, it has more to do with what’s between a person’s ears than what’s between a person’s legs. PLEASE people,
    sex is not the enemy. And Wendy, you really should check out Adam’s music…there’s something for everyone and every mood.

  7. Wendy I have one word “TRASHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The children dont need to witness this type of crap, he was an American Idol for heavens sake. What kind of an example does he think he’s setting and by the way Adams parents should be so proud of there heshe!!!!!

I agree with Adam, two men kissing on national tv should not be a problem, in my oppion the fact that parents have a problem with this is no issue, if they have a problem with there kids seeing this it is there problem, I am sure if there kids asked (why) they can tell them anything, if Adam wants to (Mack Out) then let him. He can Mack Out with me any day, and Wendy (how you doin)

  10. I think it is a double standard. Britney & Madonna kissed when there were children up watching. So did that gay girl group & their whole stage of girl dancers. I’m not saying what he did was right but why is it so much worse cause he a man? I’m just sayin…oh & Wendy, how you doin?!?

  12. I think he went too far considering it was regular T.v and not MTV. There is a double standard and always will be though men are not as exposed and used, women have always been objects. The gay people I know thought it was not tasteful and though entertaining to laugh @ should have been done for a different show.

If your child was watching the American Music Awards then seriously the parents need to be paying more attention to the time and the fact that the kids have school the next day regardless on if it was central time or eastern time. I think the performance was sexy, and hot. Some of you even know that you got a little turned on if anything ( ya I said it and what, stop living in denial.).

  15. See this is why America wants gays to keep it in the bedroom, because no matter how the men get down it just looks gross and there is nothing sexy about it. Where as women seem to be more accepted by society expressing their sexuality it looks better to the eyes but bottom line is gay is gay male or female and what you do in the bedroom should stay there.

  19. I sure do, Wendy. Kids get exposed to WAY too much, nowadays, and they just didn’t need to see that performance. Actually, neither did I. HA! If he’s not careful, fans will just remember his actions and not his wonderful voice.

  20. This is silly…Madonna has been pushing this same envelope for 20 years…..Brittney Spears and Madonna deep throated on tv…there is all type of sexuality on network tv. If it was two chicks it would be a nonissue…as a matter of fact, it would be kinda “hot”. There is a double standard because it was two guys.
