Wendy Show Remix: Girl Power

remixframe17

Wendy scored one for women everywhere when she was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.

We had girl talk with Suzanne Somers and Fran Drescher.

Chris Brown addressed his critics.

The legendary Diahann Carroll stopped by and brought Wendy to tears. Iman gave us her best “how you doin’?” and Wendy had a little fun with Ray J.

Watch these LOL moments from the past week!

  1. Wendy,

I am a 48 year old manager and I was very disappointed at your handling of Chris Brown. My opinion is that you handled him like he had leprosy. Your body language was such that you really didn’t want him there. In the end he gave you a very big hug and I was very touched. I know that what he did was dispicable, however, for a nineteen year old getting help, was it unforgiveable……

  2. I must be seeing things – this entry is titled Girl Power, yet this entry includes Chris Brown, the man who beat the living daylights out of his woman. Does supporting abusive men constitute girl power? I don’t think so. I watch Wendy Williams every day, I LOVE the show, but having Chris Brown on changed my tune. He was all smiles and Wendy fawned all over him – and I changed the channel for good. I won’t watch this show anymore because Wendy supports abusive men and I can’t stand behind someone like that, let alone a WOMAN like that. If Wendy had been the one to have the sh*t beat out of her and put in the hospital then maybe she’d feel differently, but as it stands she clearly thinks domestic violence is ok because she allowed this woman beater on her show, debuted his music video and acted like he’s this great guy – all the while forgetting that he beat the living daylights out of a woman. Then, to make it worse, she mocks the poor woman who was attacked by a chimp! The poor woman could have heard those awful things and felt horrible, but Wendy thought she being funny mocking someone else’s appearance after a brutal attack. Well it appears Wendy doesn’t have any compassion for people who are attacked and violated. Girl Power.. or ratings power? I think the latter. Disgusted. I’ll never watch this show again.

  3. Wendy,
Why is that you and other women, who claim to be so grounded and advanced and sophisticated, feel such a strong need to constantly target Anhgelina Jolie as a villan. I comes across as bad tasting jealousy in every case. I mean she does have naturally all that you paid to get artificially. Yes she is a woman with a checkered past, but aren’t you as well?…hmmm. She is in my opinion and that of quite a few others, one of the worlds most beautiful and talented actresses,( less see an Oscar, Godlen Globe and several nominations).
And to rely on the rag you refer to as a reliable souce( In-style Magazine). Every knows that they have been angry with Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt since they treleased the pictures, of the baby to only 1 magazine( People). That rag and several others have staged a personal attick and the couple every since, so sad and petty. I had been a huge fan of yours, however this petty catty stuff is a big turn off….GROW UP!!!!!!

  4. Wendy,

Your interviews are too short! You constantly leave me wanting more!

  5. Lies, lies, all lies. . .that pink dress looks horrible! It was too small and it looked cheap and spanish. Ruffles and one sleeve. . .a big no no! And what in the world was hanging over your right shoulder? Your left sleeve?. . .falling ruffles OMG. And those shoes. . .you look like you had hooves. What is your stylist a 3 foot mexican that dont speak english?. . .fire her/him! You talk about being GHETTO fabulous. . .what ghetto did you come from? Spanish Harlem?. . .thats how you dress. Get it together. . .Nnw–”How You Doin?”

  6. wendy wendy wendy I love your show but you dropped the ball with chris brown.
As a survivor of abuse I had to turn off. Please reevaluate your decision and why you did it. As a social worker who has seen what this abuse does to children I think he has a long way to go before I listen to his music. I really believe he deserved to spend some time in jail.

  7. Hi wendy,i really liked the show today.Especially with chris brown.I’m a firm believer that some people can change and i believe he has….he’s recognized his mistake and i pray it won’t happen again. For Rihanna i feel her pain,i just got out of a Domestic violent relationship i had to leave my job my home and come here to the US to get away..i’m still not healed its a work in progress. While he’s out and about she has to wear the scars internally and its hard.
We island girls are strong,so i know she’ll make it.
Much love to you keep up the good work.
    smmmmoooooochhhhhesss!!

  8. Wendy I happend to catch you show on Wednesday;and the remark you said “some things shouldn’t be see in public…” you were referring to Charla Nash. That was dumb and insensitive, beauty comes from within and she is gorgeous, she is a survivor and has great spirit, that is why she chose Oprah, Oprah has class, something you do not have. You gossip, that is all.
Where is your compassion? Did you even stop to think Charla might be listening to your show? You are an idiot

On the subject of the wet under arms you can purchased aluminum chloroide pure at any drug store and use it only for two weeks it has no smell but if you want you can put a little powder also under your arm. 14. Regarding Charla Nash, shame on you for showing such little compassion by calling her “Chimp Lady.” She suffered a horrible trauma. I know you are entitled to your opinion. I didn’t detect any empathy in your voice. I was surprised.

I agree her face was shocking, but a warning was given early in the interview before showing her face. I am really squimish and covered my face with my hands. I peaked at her between the cracks in my fingers.

Ms. Nash said she wanted to control when and how her face was shown rather than have the paparazzi make money. Hopefully her image will not be valuable now for those who would exploit her.

    Keep on rockin it.

  15. Hey Wendy,
I really like to watch your show but yesterday you had a comment about Charla the woman who got attacked by the monkey. If you had turned up the volume on your tv you would of heard what a courageous women she is. You said you really didn’t need to see her face, maybe she needed to show it, it isn’t all about you. This woman talked like it was no big deal and didn’t once say ” why me, she just said she has to move forward. If only you turned the mute off, you would of said something positive about the women.

  16. INAPPROPIATE,INSENSITIVE
,I HAVE BEEN A SUPORTER OF YOUR SHOW SINCE DAY 1. Yesterday ,you made me decide to stop recording>.

Your comments about the “woman with no face” INAPPROPIATE. Yes,it was disturbing, however, you shoud hae kept those comments to yourself.

Burping,is not for Televison but you do it almost every show.

You act like you were s bothered by her appearance and not even moved by “the cause or what HELL she is iving with.”
I talk to others that felt the same way -that is what moved me to write.
Yes,you have yor opinion—evrything does not need to be said. You acted heartless. Had you listened, you would have known that she exposed herself because the potogs would nt leave her alone(trying to get pics).

Stop all that damn burping and slobbering, its getting gross. At first,i was like, she’s down and relateable–you are getting gross.

Im. not a Hater-As i mentioned I watch your show and tape to make sure my 1 vote count in ratings. I want you to survive.

  17. Wendy, im sorry to say but your interview with CHRIS BROWN, was completely HORRIBLE!!!! It seems like you wasn’t your natural self there and it seems like you were limited to ask him CERTAIN questions….you wernt your messy self in that interview….every other interview you do, you’re usually upbeat and having fun with your guest but wiith CHRIS BROWN,, it was too many awkawrd moments in that interview….sorry to say

  18. Congrats Wendy! I never did know your radio days and sorry I missed them as I just found you on TV and Love the show. YOU GO GIRL!

  19. OH, I am so bummed. You are fun to watch, but now I can’t and won’t watch you because of your shallow self centered behavior and comments about the lady who was attacked by the Monkey. “Some things should not be seen”. Well, I didn’t see Oprah, I have not seen a picture of this poor VICTIM, but your comments on your show were compassionless. Do you not understand this happened to a PERSON? You don’t want to look at her- you said so on your show- how do you think SHE feels? Your comments were disgusting. more disgusting than any picture of this poor victim could ever be. COMPASSION? CARE? She only got disgust from from you, I hope to hell she did not see your show, where you gave her no sympathy or care. Shame on you for being so shallow and gross. EMPATHY- look it up. You are so fabulous that you write off people who have had a tragedy that you think you could never have? Car accident and your fabulosity is gone? Want some care and empathy or to be shunned and told
“she should not be seen”. Try on that womans shoes and be ashamed of yourself.

  20. Wendy,
I just happened to stumble across your show one day and it definately got my interest! I’ve watched you every chance I get and I had no idea who you were. I looked you up on line and that is where I found out where you were before, and what you did. I love listening to your honesty and great sense of humor (even when you probably shouldn’t have said something) !!!!!!
