On Friday, Wendy showed you this picture of Toni Braxton locking lips with the sultry Trey Songz at the Soul Train Music Awards, while her husband was in the audience.

In just a matter of hours, Essence.com reported that Toni and her husband of 8-years, Keri Lewis from Mint Condition, had separated.

Now hear what Wendy has to say about Toni’s split.

  1. hey wendy, i feel like no woman does something like that for no reason it just half to be a reason im not saying thats its right or wrong she could just be going through a little bit of being confused about her situation I think she was making a statement in she did just that

  3. Well I am a Christian and that was dead wrong on both their parts. Even if Kerri did cheat that is not how a real Christian woman handles it. what happened to integrity and character? what expample are they settiong for her children his younger sibling. they claim to be christians so tell me how was this Christ like? They deserve better. i mean trey is young and yet to realize how valubale he is, he as not realize that he deserves more than groupie love. serioulsy has toni not seen his yourube videos. trey is wild right now. I pray that all parties involve gain wisdom from this experience. they all make great music. I pray toni and kerri get counseling and work it out. Marriages belong to God not the devil. I pray tremaine finds his way back from being trey songz.

Your deep kisses are for only your husband and an know one else. She needs to repent and work on trying to get that man back, 8 years of her he must love her and care about her.

I just think that this was totally inappropriate behavior on her part…yes this young man is sexy but, and maybe her marriage was shaky before hand but, i dont believe that this is behavior u display in public..How can she explain to her children why momma was kissin another man that wasn’t daddy..Just wrong Toni….

  9. Hey girl, first off, I LOVE YOUR SHOW!! me and my mom (71 years old) think you and your show are absolutely fabulous. I loved the whole kiss, she is hot, he is adorable, and you are right, what did her husband say or do to get her to go for it on air, lol. I loved it, she was like, “thats right, and what??, HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW??”, LOL. I love it, Trey is a hottie, I am 45, and wouldn’t mind of taste of that hot chocolate candy myself, yummy, yummy, lol.

I am studying Communications so I can be like you when I grow up! ;-D So, I just got off of Bossip.com and they are saying that Toni and Keri are getting a div-vorce? Say what? Just earlier this year she was on the View proclaiming how happily married she was…Im just so confused! But I think she made the point to put herself out there like she did because of what’s going on @ home…but I say do you girly do you!!! They’re publicity hores!!!!LMAO! That’s just the kinda girl I am!!!! Lovin it & lovin you girl!!

    her to kiss that young man like that on tv, it doesn’t matter about what’s
    going on with her and her husband. what about her self respect?
    Also it’s cool to be a cougar if you have the mindset,the body and
    know how to play the game.

My comment on Toni Braxton and Trey Songz is that was totally out of line and classless.I love Toni Braxton and I would not expect her to do such a HORRIBLE thing like that especially with her husband sitting in the front row. However, I hope that that they(Toni Braxton and Keri Lewis) can fix their marriage.

  15. WOW!!! As a woman of a certain age (39) I am not able to say officially that I’m a COUGAR ;) but I see myself being able to carry that title really soon (Hello, Drake). I believe Toni is a true performer; whether this was an act for the show or an attempt to show her husband that the relationship is truly over I don’t know. What I am sure of is this sometimes you can tell a person, but for whatever the reason they don’t get it until they are shown. I appreciate that a woman of her maturity can BRING IT. Both she and Mr. Songz are adults, and I believe it should be viewed that way.

  17. Wendy – That kiss was fierce! She’s showing that she STILL got it! You’re right – her husband must have done or said simething to provoke this flashy kiss. She might as well have turned to the audience afterwards and said “AND WHAT!” ROFL! I love it! A straight up “DONKEY” move.

  18. How you doing? This is not surprising Wendy. This is some crazy donkey mess. She was on Steve Harvey’s show with her hubby a few weeks ago with her husband. At the time of the interview she hinted that they had had problems in the past that nearly caused their break-up, but that he was doing better now. I guess she found out that he wasn’t doing as he ought to have been. I agree with you, he likely did something to cause her to act like this, she is a woman scorned. It is sad that it came to this, but oh well… two grown folks, wish their kids all the best.

  19. I think like this if your not happy and someone else can do the job then so be it just as long as you give your best effort and you out your best foot forward. marriage and children should not be a reason to still together because it only worsens the relationship.
