On Friday, Wendy showed you this picture of Toni Braxton locking lips with the sultry Trey Songz at the Soul Train Music Awards, while her husband was in the audience.

In just a matter of hours, Essence.com reported that Toni and her husband of 8-years, Keri Lewis from Mint Condition, had separated.

You are absolutely beautiful and very, very smart and I’m so very glad I started watching you’re show from the very beginning. I live in Ky. and you are always a day behind.   2. I think the kiss was only for publicity on her part. I love her voice and she’s a beautiful woman, but everytime shes at any of the award shows, she always has to put on some kind of show. Shes very egotistical, in other words, a Show Off. The thing is, her beauty and voice is all she needs.

    How you doin?

    I usually do not comment on things, but I had to this time. I have only recently really discovered Toni Baxton’s talent and I think she is awesome.

    I read the comment from the grown preacher kid and had to say something. The statements that Toni ‘will lose all she has gained outside of God’ and ‘her complete downfall is on the way’ struck a nerve with me. I agree that her talent is a gift from God. Therefore all she gains using that God-given talent would be within God. We all should know that it is God who determines a person’s heart and soul. I grew up in the Church also and I do recall the Bible says that God will be the one to judge us.

    I started viewing your show this past summer because my favorite talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, was showing re-runs all summer. I really hated that, so I found your show and have to say that I enjoy it thoroughly. You are very real in dealing with people and I like that. Most people do not like to hear the truth, but REALLY, the truth will indeed set you free.

    Toni Braxton has a gift that came directly from God. I really enjoy her singing. But, because I am a preachers kid, now grown and older than Toni, I know, and I hope she knows deep within her soul that her lifestyle is not okay with God. Everything she gains in this world, outside of God, she will lose. I have seen her pose almost nude for money and fame. Her complete downfall is on the way. I really feel sorry for people who just need to have money and fame and will do anything to get it. I really enjoy my life, and understand that it is the simple things in life that makes it worth living.

    Continue to stay the genuine person that you are. I really hope great things happen for you. As I always say to those who come my way, “Always stay true to yourself”.

  6. How you doin Wendy! I completely agree with you. Keri must have done something to be put in the dog house and when women get mad (depending on how bad the man acted) we will let it be known. And Toni sho’nuf did that! Shoot……if I could get back at any man, who better to do it with than Trey Songz?! I’d jump on that chance in a hot second!

  9. Just saw the clip of your argument of the Toni Braxton/Trey Songz kiss. Is this song that they performed at the Soul Train Awards off her new album? They said that it was coming in January. But still it is wrong. I know it’s part of the song and performance, but to do that right in front of her husband Keri Lewis, who’s in the audience, comes off as crass and unnecessary. She’s too classy a singer to do this. Maybe they had a huge argument backstage before the awards that led her to plant that kiss on that young singer. I can see in the photo of Toni and Keri that there’s no face to face–they look so disconnected and dispirited from each other–they’re just staring at the camera. If it is true that they are separating, I am sorry to hear that their relationship went south.

Wendy, Toni mentioned on recent interview with Micheal Baisden that she had problems with her marriage but they were trying to slowly work things out, he played her new song and she said he was the motivation. The name of the song is “Yesterday”. Maybe they’ll work it out! God willing…. either way I wish her the best.

    How you doin? Well i wanted to comment about the kiss with Toni and Trey. Well i believe alot of celebs have pulled stunts to put them in the limelight for the moment. I think it was the wrong choice due to the fact that Toni, to me, is looked at as a class act. And this may have totally changed some of her fans perception of her and her love songs which they believed were from personal experiences, and real life love stories. I truly wish her the best, i never like to see a marriage end.

  17. Hello Wendy; how are you: I am just now watching your show for today. Wendy if Toni kissed this young boy; and I am not mad at either one of them, there had to be something going on really wrong in her marriage and for a long time. My husb. is 9 years younger that me and we’ve been married for 11 years, I wouldn’t do something like that. Their marriage was over before they got to the awards show.
