What Wendy’s Wearing: Cocktail Attire
Shimmering Wendy.
We threw a cocktail party on the show today and Wendy looked stunning in this grey silk charmeuse dress by Ralph Lauren and the silver sequin and cashmere shrug she wore was by Donna Karan New York, both from Bloomingdale’s.
Her shimmer tights are by Berkshire Shimmers, available at Macy’s with crystal silver shoes by Christian Louboutin.
No cocktail dress is complete without the bling. Those headlight earrings and crusty crystal bangles are by Kenneth Jay Lane and Wendy’s crystal bracelet is Roberta Chiarella.

Dear Wendy and Staff,
How you Doin’. All is well here in Des Moines,Iowa where we watch you on WHOTV Channel13 at One Yes One A.M. I don’t miss a show, and had an idea after your recent theme shows cocktail attire and of course The Leopard show as well. Perhaps you could have another on December 1st, “Worls AIDS Day”, maybe everyone in RED. It seems there is so little focus anymore on this terrible disease, and anything we can do to help refocus and make the youth know that they are at risk would be of great help. You have the power to help and I hope you feel empowered to do so, with something as simple as an audience fashion show of the color Red. many thanks for the late night humor and your constant acceptance of all things great.
love,
Jim Wilson

I was a member of the audience on Thursday Nov. 5th. After watching you all summer everyday while I was recovering from radiation treatments for cancer I was more than excited when my friend said she had an extra ticket, would
I like to go? I jumped at the chance to see you in person as I had enjoyed your show so much. To my disapointment we were treated like cattle off to the market to the highest bidder. I am 57 years old with stage 4 inoperable breast cancer and I was disgusted by way members were selected to sit in the front seats based on the size of their heels and the size of their dresses. I felt such a pain in my heart when I left the show, my sel esteem was at a new low, I now refuse to watch you. The ask Wendy questions were ridiculous and shallow. I thought you had more depth than that.

Wendy:
I love to see you in the choclate and black hair you look more sophisticated. The other colors are nice but definitely wear this color wig more often.
The cocktail dress and silver shows your wore on Cocktail dress day was stunning.

Hey Wendy…………..that outfit and your hair was simply beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wendy, I swear, you know I love you, girl! I have been in your audience and I’m so proud to see a Black woman with a new voice and style be so well-received! Now that THAT’S out of the way . . . who in the hell fitted you for that dress? Please, don’t be mad, not hating. But if you replay Thursday’s episode, your boobs were all smooshed up and weird looking no matter how you turned. From below the boobs, the dress was stunning, but they did you a great disservice on that one. It would have been a much more graceful look if you have a better fit on top and I can’t imagine I’m the only one who noticed or that you didn’t feel a bit uncomfortable yourself.
But I LOVED the hair. Time to rock the darker color a bit more often. You go girl! One of your many, many fans!
